1 This is the rol of Adam's descendants: On the day that God created Adam he made him in the likenessof God.	1 Hic est liber generationis Adam. In die qua creavit Deus homi nem, ad similitudinem Dei fecit illum.
2 Male and female he created them. He blessed them and gave them the name Man, when they werecreated.	2 Masculum et feminam creavit eos et benedixit illis; et vocavit nomen eorum Adam in die, quo creati sunt.
3 When Adam was a hundred and thirty years old he fathered a son, in his likeness, after his image, andhe cal ed him Seth.	3 Vixit autem Adam centum triginta annis et genuit ad similitudinem et imaginem suam vocavitque nomen eius Seth.
4 Adam lived for eight hundred years after the birth of Seth and he fathered sons and daughters.	4 Et facti sunt dies Adam, postquam genuit Seth, octingenti anni, genuitque filios et filias.
5 In al , Adam lived for nine hundred and thirty years; then he died.	5 Et factum est omne tempus, quod vixit Adam, anni nongenti triginta, et mortuus est.
6 When Seth was a hundred and five years old he fathered Enosh.	6 Vixit quoque Seth centum quinque annos et genuit Enos.
7 After the birth of Enosh, Seth lived for eight hundred and seven years, and he fathered sons anddaughters.	7 Vixitque Seth, postquam genuit Enos, octingentis septem annis genuitque filios et filias.

9 When Enosh was ninety years old he fathered Kenan.	9 Vixit vero Enos nonaginta annis et genuit Cainan.
10 After the birth of Kenan, Enosh lived for eight hundred and fifteen years and he fathered sons anddaughters.	10 Et vixit Enos, postquam genuit Cainan, octingentis quindecim annis et genuit filios et filias.

12 When Kenan was seventy years old he fathered Mahalalel.	12 Vixit quoque Cainan septuaginta annis et genuit Malaleel.
13 After the birth of Mahalalel, Kenan lived for eight hundred and forty years and he fathered sons anddaughters.	13 Et vixit Cainan, postquam genuit Malaleel, octingentos quadraginta annos genuitque filios et filias.
14 In al , Kenan lived for nine hundred and ten years; then he died.	14 Et facti sunt omnes dies Cainan nongenti decem anni, et mortuus est.
15 When Mahalalel was sixty-five years old he fathered Jared.	15 Vixit autem Malaleel sexaginta quinque annos et genuit Iared.
16 After the birth of Jared, Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and thirty years and he fathered sons anddaughters.	16 Et vixit Malaleel, postquam genuit Iared, octingentis triginta annis et genuit filios et filias.

18 When Jared was a hundred and sixty-two years old he fathered Enoch.	18 Vixitque Iared centum sexaginta duobus annis et genuit Henoch.
19 After the birth of Enoch, Jared lived for eight hundred years and he fathered sons and daughters.	19 Et vixit Iared, postquam genuit Henoch, octingentos annos et genuit filios et filias.
20 In al , Jared lived for nine hundred and sixty-two years; then he died.	20 Et facti sunt omnes dies Iared nongenti sexaginta duo anni, et mortuus est.
21 When Enoch was sixty-five years old he fathered Methuselah.	21 Porro Henoch vixit sexaginta quinque annis et genuit Mathusalam.
22 Enoch walked with God. After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch lived for three hundred years and hefathered sons and daughters.	22 Et ambulavit Henoch cum Deo, postquam genuit Mathusalam, trecentis annis et genuit filios et filias.
23 In al , Enoch lived for three hundred and sixty-five years.	23 Et facti sunt omnes dies Henoch trecenti sexaginta quinque anni,
24 Enoch walked with God, then was no more, because God took him.	24 ambulavitque cum Deo et non apparuit, quia tulit eum Deus.
25 When Methuselah was a hundred and eighty-seven years old he fathered Lamech.	25 Vixit quoque Mathusala centum octoginta septem annos et genuit Lamech.
26 After the birth of Lamech, Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years and he fatheredsons and daughters.	26 Et vixit Mathusala, postquam genuit Lamech, septingentos octoginta duos annos et genuit filios et filias.
27 In al , Methuselah lived for nine hundred and sixty-nine years; then he died.	27 Et facti sunt omnes dies Mathusalae nongenti sexaginta novem anni, et mortuus est.
28 When Lamech was a hundred and eighty-two years old he fathered a son.	28 Vixit autem Lamech centum octoginta duobus annis et genuit filium
29 He gave him the name Noah because, he said, 'Here is one who wil give us, in the midst of our toiland the labouring of our hands, a consolation out of the very soil that Yahweh cursed.'	29 vocavitque nomen eius Noe dicens: “Iste consolabitur nos ab operibus nostris et labore manuum nostrarum in agro, cui maledixit Dominus”.
30 After the birth of Noah, Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years and fathered sons anddaughters.	30 Vixitque Lamech, postquam genuit Noe, quingentos nonaginta quinque annos et genuit filios et filias.
31 In al , Lamech lived for seven hundred and seventy-seven years; then he died.	31 Et facti sunt omnes dies Lamech septingenti septuaginta septem anni, et mortuus est.
32 When Noah was five hundred years old he fathered Shem, Ham and Japheth.	32 Noe vero, cum quingentorum esset annorum, genuit Sem, Cham et Iapheth.
