1 This is the rol of Adam's descendants: On the day that God created Adam he made him in the likenessof God.	1 This is the book of the generation of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him to the likeness of God.
2 Male and female he created them. He blessed them and gave them the name Man, when they werecreated.	2 He created them male and female; and blessed them: and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 When Adam was a hundred and thirty years old he fathered a son, in his likeness, after his image, andhe cal ed him Seth.	3 And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son to his own image and likeness, and called his name Seth.
4 Adam lived for eight hundred years after the birth of Seth and he fathered sons and daughters.	4 And the days of Adam, after he begot Seth, were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters.
5 In al , Adam lived for nine hundred and thirty years; then he died.	5 And all the time that Adam lived came to nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.
6 When Seth was a hundred and five years old he fathered Enosh.	6 Seth also lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enos.
7 After the birth of Enosh, Seth lived for eight hundred and seven years, and he fathered sons anddaughters.	7 And Seth lived after he begot Enos, eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
8 In al , Seth lived for nine hundred and twelve years; then he died.	8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.
9 When Enosh was ninety years old he fathered Kenan.	9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begot Cainan.
10 After the birth of Kenan, Enosh lived for eight hundred and fifteen years and he fathered sons anddaughters.	10 After whose birth he lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
11 In al , Enosh lived for nine hundred and five years; then he died.	11 And the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years, and he died.
12 When Kenan was seventy years old he fathered Mahalalel.	12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Malaleel.
13 After the birth of Mahalalel, Kenan lived for eight hundred and forty years and he fathered sons anddaughters.	13 And Cainan lived after he begot Malaleel, eight hundred forty years, and begot sons and daughters.
14 In al , Kenan lived for nine hundred and ten years; then he died.	14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.
15 When Mahalalel was sixty-five years old he fathered Jared.	15 And Malaleel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared.
16 After the birth of Jared, Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and thirty years and he fathered sons anddaughters.	16 And Malaleel lived after he begot Jared, eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
17 In al , Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and ninety-five years; then he died.	17 And all the days of Malaleel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.
18 When Jared was a hundred and sixty-two years old he fathered Enoch.	18 And Jared lived a hundred and sixty-two years, and begot Henoch.
19 After the birth of Enoch, Jared lived for eight hundred years and he fathered sons and daughters.	19 And Jared lived after he begot Henoch, eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
20 In al , Jared lived for nine hundred and sixty-two years; then he died.	20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.
21 When Enoch was sixty-five years old he fathered Methuselah.	21 And Henoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Mathusala.
22 Enoch walked with God. After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch lived for three hundred years and hefathered sons and daughters.	22 And Henoch walked with God: and lived after he begot Mathusala, three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
23 In al , Enoch lived for three hundred and sixty-five years.	23 And all the days of Henoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
24 Enoch walked with God, then was no more, because God took him.	24 And he walked with God, and was seen no more: because God took him.
25 When Methuselah was a hundred and eighty-seven years old he fathered Lamech.	25 And Mathusala lived a hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech.
26 After the birth of Lamech, Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years and he fatheredsons and daughters.	26 And Mathusala lived after he begot Lamech, seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begot sons and daughters.
27 In al , Methuselah lived for nine hundred and sixty-nine years; then he died.	27 And all the days of Mathusala were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.
28 When Lamech was a hundred and eighty-two years old he fathered a son.	28 And Lamech lived a hundred and eighty-two years, and begot a son.
29 He gave him the name Noah because, he said, 'Here is one who wil give us, in the midst of our toiland the labouring of our hands, a consolation out of the very soil that Yahweh cursed.'	29 And he called his name Noe, saying: This same shall comfort us from the works and labours of our hands on the earth which the Lord hath cursed.
30 After the birth of Noah, Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years and fathered sons anddaughters.	30 And Lamech lived after he begot Noe, five hundred and ninety-five years, and he begot sons and daughters.
31 In al , Lamech lived for seven hundred and seventy-seven years; then he died.	31 And all the days of Lamech came to seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died. And Noe, when he was five hundred years old, begot Sem, Cham, and Japheth.
32 When Noah was five hundred years old he fathered Shem, Ham and Japheth.
