NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 These are the descendants of Esau, that is, Edom.	1 Este es el linaje de Esaú, o sea Edom.
2 Esau chose his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, Oholibamahdaughter of Anah, son of Zibeon the Horite,	2 Esaú tomó a sus mujeres de entre las cananeas: a Adá, hija de Elón el hitita, a Oholibamá, hija de Aná, hijo de Sibeón el jorita,
3 Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.	3 y a Basmat, hija de Ismael, la hermana de Nebayot.
4 Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,	4 Adá dio a luz para Esaú a Elifaz, Basmat le dio a Reuel.
5 Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These were the sons of Esau born to him in Canaan.	5 Oholibamá le dio a Yeús, Yalam y Coré. Estos son los hijos que le nacieron a Esaú en Canaán.

8 That is why Edom settled in the mountainous region of Seir. Esau is Edom.	8 Esaú se estableció, pues, en la tierra de Seír. Esaú es Edom.
9 These are the descendants of Esau, ancestor of Edom, in the mountainous region of Seir.	9 Estos son los descendientes de Esaú, padre de Edom, en la montaña de Seír,
10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz son of Esau's wife Adah, and Reuel son of Esau's wifeBasemath.	10 y éstos los nombres de sus hijos: Elifaz, hijo de Adá, mujer de Esaú, y Reuel, hijo de Basmat, mujer de Esaú.
11 The sons of Eliphaz were: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz.	11 Los hijos de Elifaz fueron: Temán, Omar, Sefó, Gaetam y Quenaz.
12 Eliphaz son of Esau had Timna for concubine and she bore him Amalek. These were the sons ofEsau's wife Adah.	12 Timná fue concubina de Elifaz, hijo de Esaú, y dio a luz a Amalec. Estos son los descendientes de Adá, mujer de Esaú.
13 These were the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the sons ofEsau's wife Basemath.	13 Y estos son los hijos de Reuel: Nájat, Zéraj, Sammá y Mizzá. Estos son los descendientes de Basmat, mujer de Esaú.

15 These are the chieftains of Esau. The descendants of Eliphaz, Esau's eldest son: the chieftains ofTeman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,	15 He aquí los jeques de los hijos de Esaú. De los hijos de Elifaz, primogénito de Esaú: el jeque Temán, el jeque Omar, el jeque Sefó, el jeque Quenaz,

18 The descendants of Esau's wife Oholibamah: the chieftains of Jeush, Jalam and Korah. 19 These were the sons of Esau -- that is, Edom -- and these are their chieftains.	19 Estos son los hijos de Esaú y éstos sus jeques, los de Edom.
20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, natives of the country: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,	20 He aquí los hijos de Seír el jorita, que habitaban en aquella tierra: Lotán, Sobal, Sibeón, Aná,
21 Dishon, Ezer and Dishan; these were the Horite chieftains descended from Seir, in Edom.	21 Disón, Eser y Disán. Estos son los jeques de los joritas, hijos de Seír, en el país de Edom.
22 The sons of Lotan were Hori and Hemam, and Lotan's sister was Timna.	22 Los hijos de Lotán fueron: Jorí y Hemam, y hermana de Lotán fue Timná.

28 These are the sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.	28 Los hijos de Disán: Us y Arán.
29 These are the Horite chieftains: the chieftains of Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,	29 Estos son los jeques joritas: el jeque Lotán, el jeque Sobal, el jeque Sibeón, el jeque Aná,

35 Husham died and Hadad son of Bedad succeeded; he defeated the Midianites in Moab, and his citywas called Avith.	35 Murió Jusam, y reinó en su lugar Hadad, hijo de Bedad, el que derrotó a Madián en el campo de Moab; y el nombre de su ciudad era Avit.
36 Hadad died and Samlah of Masrekah succeeded.	36 Murió Hadad, y reinó en su lugar Samlá de Masrecá.
37 Samlah died and Shaul of Rehoboth-ha-Nahar succeeded.	37 Murió Samlá, y reinó en su lugar Saúl, de Rejobot del Río.
38 Shaul died and Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded.	38 Murió Saúl, y reinó en su lugar Baal Janán hijo de Akbor.
39 Baal-Hanan died and Hadad succeeded; his city was called Pau and his wife's name was Mehetabeldaughter of Matred, from Mezahab.	39 Murió Baal Janán hijo de Akbor, y reinó en su lugar Hadad; el nombre de su ciudad era Pau, y el nombre de su mujer, Mehetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezahab.
40 These are the names of the chieftains of Esau -- according to their clans and localities: the chieftainsof Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,	40 Estos son los nombres de los jeques de Esaú, según sus familias y territorios y por sus nombres. El jeque Timná, el jeque Alvá, el jeque Yetet,
41 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,	41 el jeque Oholibamá, el jeque Elá, el jeque Pinón.
42 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,	42 el jeque Quenaz, el jeque Temán, el jeque Mibsar,
43 Magdiel and Iram. These are the chieftains of Edom, as settled in the territory which they own. Esauwas Edom's ancestor.	43 el jeque Magdiel, el jeque Iram. Estos son los jeques de Edom, según sus moradas, en las tierras que ocupan. Este es Esaú padre de Edom.
