Psalms 91

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	LXX
1 You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,	1 ψαλμος ωδης εις την ημεραν του σαββατου
2 Say to the LORD, "My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust."	2 αγαθον το εξομολογεισθαι τω κυριω και ψαλλειν τω ονοματι σου υψιστε
3 God will rescue you from the fowler's snare, from the destroying plague,	3 του αναγγελλειν το πρωι το ελεος σου και την αληθειαν σου κατα νυκτα
4 Will shelter you with pinions, spread wings that you may take refuge; God's faithfulness is a protecting shield.	4 εν δεκαχορδω ψαλτηριω μετ' ωδης εν κιθαρα
5 You shall not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day,	5 οτι ευφρανας με κυριε εν τω ποιηματι σου και εν τοις εργοις των χειρων σου αγαλλιασομαι
6 Nor the pestilence that roams in darkness, nor the plague that ravages at noon.	6 ως εμεγαλυνθη τα εργα σου κυριε σφοδρα εβαθυνθησαν οι διαλογισμοι σου
7 Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, near you it shall not come.	7 ανηρ αφρων ου γνωσεται και ασυνετος ου συνησει ταυτα
8 You need simply watch; the punishment of the wicked you will see.	8 εν τω ανατειλαι τους αμαρτωλους ως χορτον και διεκυψαν παντες οι εργαζομενοι την ανομιαν οπως αν εξολεθρευθωσιν εις τον αιωνα του αιωνος
9 You have the LORD for your refuge; you have made the Most High your stronghold.	9 συ δε υψιστος εις τον αιωνα κυριε
10 No evil shall befall you, no affliction come near your tent.	10 οτι ιδου οι εχθροι σου απολουνται και διασκορπισθησονται παντες οι εργαζομενοι την ανομιαν
11 For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways.	11 και υψωθησεται ως μονοκερωτος το κερας μου και το γηρας μου εν ελαιω πιονι
12 With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone.	12 και επειδεν ο οφθαλμος μου εν τοις εχθροις μου και εν τοις επανιστανομενοις επ' εμε πονηρευομενοις ακουσεται το ους μου
13 You shall tread upon the asp and the viper, trample the lion and the dragon.	13 δικαιος ως φοινιξ ανθησει ωσει κεδρος η εν τω λιβανω πληθυνθησεται
14 Whoever clings to me I will deliver; whoever knows my name I will set on high.	14 πεφυτευμενοι εν τω οικω κυριου εν ταις αυλαις του θεου ημων εξανθησουσιν
15 All who call upon me I will answer; I will be with them in distress; I will deliver them and give them honor.	15 ετι πληθυνθησονται εν γηρει πιονι και ευπαθουντες εσονται
16 With length of days I will satisfy them and show them my saving power.	16 του αναγγειλαι οτι ευθης κυριος ο θεος μου και ουκ εστιν αδικια εν αυτω
