1 A psalm of David. For remembrance.	1 Salmo De David. En memoria.
2 LORD, punish me no more in your anger; in your wrath do not chastise me!	2 Yahveh, no me corrijas en tu enojo, en tu furor no me castigues.
3 Your arrows have sunk deep in me; your hand has come down upon me.	3 Pues en mí se han clavado tus saetas, ha caído tu mano sobre mí;
4 My flesh is afflicted because of your anger; my frame aches because of my sin.	4 nada intacto en mi carne por tu enojo, nada sano en mis huesos debido a mi pecado.
5 My iniquities overwhelm me, a burden beyond my strength.	5 Mis culpas sobrepasan mi cabeza, como un peso harto grave para mí;
6 Foul and festering are my sores because of my folly.	6 mis llagas son hedor y putridez, debido a mi locura;
7 I am stooped and deeply bowed; all day I go about mourning.	7 encorvado, abatido totalmente, sombrío ando todo el día.
8 My loins burn with fever; my flesh is afflicted.	8 Están mis lomos túmidos de fiebre, nada hay sano ya en mi carne;
9 I am numb and utterly crushed; I wail with anguish of heart.	9 entumecido, molido totalmente, me hace rugir la convulsión del corazón.
10 My Lord, my deepest yearning is before you; my groaning is not hidden from you.	10 Señor, todo mi anhelo ante tus ojos, mi gemido no se te oculta a ti.
11 My heart shudders, my strength forsakes me; the very light of my eyes has failed.	11 Me traquetea el corazón, las fuerzas me abandonan, y la luz misma de mis ojos me falta.
12 Friends and companions shun my pain; my neighbors stand far off.	12 Mis amigos y compañeros se partan de mi llaga, mis allegados a distancia se quedan;
13 Those who seek my life lay snares for me; they seek my misfortune, they speak of ruin; they plot treachery all the day.	13 y tienden lazos los que buscan mi alma, los que traman mi mal hablan de ruina, y todo el día andan urdiendo fraudes.
14 But I am like the deaf, hearing nothing, like the dumb, saying nothing,	14 Mas yo como un sordo soy, no oigo, como un mudo que no abre la boca;
15 Like someone who does not hear, who has no answer ready.	15 sí, soy como un hombre que no oye, ni tiene réplica en sus labios.
16 LORD, I wait for you; O Lord, my God, answer me.	16 Que en ti, Yahveh, yo espero, tú reponderás, Señor, Dios mío.
17 For I fear they will gloat, exult over me if I stumble.	17 He dicho: «! No se rían de mí, no me dominen cuando mi pie resbale!».
18 I am very near to falling; my pain is with me always.	18 Y ahora ya estoy a punto de caída, mi tormento sin cesar está ante mí.
19 I acknowledge my guilt and grieve over my sin.	19 Sí, mi culpa confieso, acongojado estoy por mi pecado.
20 But many are my foes without cause, a multitude of enemies without reason,	20 Aumentan mis enemigos sin razón, muchos son los que sin causa me odian,
21 Repaying me evil for good, harassing me for pursuing good.	21 los que me devuelven mal por bien y me acusan cuando yo el bien busco.
22 Forsake me not, O LORD; my God, be not far from me!	22 ¡No me abandones, tú, Yahveh, Dios mío, no estés lejos de mí!
23 Come quickly to help me, my Lord and my salvation!	23 Date prisa a auxiliarme, oh Señor, mi salvación!
