¹ Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.	¹ De David. \|ç(Álef) A ti, Señor, levanto mi alma;
² O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.	² (Bet) Dios mío, en ti confío, no quede yo defraudado, \| que no triunfen de mí mis enemigos,
³ Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.	³ (Guímel) pues los que esperan en ti no quedan defraudados, \| mientras que el fracaso malogra a los traidores.
⁴ Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.	⁴ (Dálet) Señor, enséñame tus caminos, \| instrúyeme en tus sendas: \| haz que camine con lealtad;
⁵ Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.	⁵ (He) enséñame, porque tú eres mi Dios y Salvador, \| (Vau?) y todo el día te estoy esperando.
⁶ Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.	⁶ (Zain) Recuerda, Señor, que tu ternura \| y tu misericordia son eternas;
⁷ Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.	⁷ (Jet) no te acuerdes de los pecados \| ni de las maldades de mi juventud; \| acuérdate de mí con misericordia, \| por tu bondad, Señor.
⁸ Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.	⁸ (Tet) El Señor es bueno y es recto, \| y enseña el camino a los pecadores;
⁹ The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.	⁹ (Yod) hace caminar a los humildes con rectitud, \| enseña su camino a los humildes.
¹⁰ All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.	¹⁰ (Kaf) Las sendas del Señor son misericordia y lealtad \| para los que guardan su alianza y sus mandatos.
¹¹ For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.	¹¹ (Lámed) Por el honor de tu nombre, Señor, \| perdona mis culpas, que son muchas.
¹² What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.	¹² (Mem) ¿Hay alguien que tema al Señor? \| Él le enseñará el camino escogido:
¹³ His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.	¹³ (Nun) su alma vivirá feliz, \| su descendencia poseerá la tierra.
¹⁴ The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.	¹⁴ (Sámek) El Señor se confía a los que lo temen, \| y les da a conocer su alianza.
¹⁵ Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.	¹⁵ (Ayin) Tengo los ojos puestos en el Señor, \| porque él saca mis pies de la red.
¹⁶ Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.	¹⁶ (Pe) Mírame, oh Dios, y ten piedad de mí, \| que estoy solo y afligido.
¹⁷ The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.	¹⁷ (Sade) Ensancha mi corazón oprimido \| y sácame de mis tribulaciones.
¹⁸ Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.	¹⁸ (Qof) Mira mis trabajos y mis penas \| y perdona todos mis pecados;
¹⁹ Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.	¹⁹ (Res) mira cuántos son mis enemigos, \| que me detestan con odio cruel.
²⁰ O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.	²⁰ (Sin) Guarda mi vida y líbrame, \| no quede yo defraudado de haber acudido a ti.
²¹ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.	²¹ (Tau) La inocencia y la rectitud me protegerán, \| porque espero en ti.
²² Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.	²² Salva, oh Dios, a Israel \| de todos sus peligros.
