Psalms 25

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.	1 De David. [Alef] A ti, Señor, elevo mi alma,
2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.	2 [Bet] Dios mío, yo pongo en ti mi confianza; ¡que no tenga que avergonzarme ni se rían de mí mis enemigos!
3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.	3 [Guímel] Ninguno de los que esperan en ti tendrá que avergonzarse: se avergonzarán los que traicionan en vano.
4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.	4 [Dálet] Muéstrame, Señor, tus caminos, enséñame tus senderos.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.	5 [He] Guíame por el camino de tu fidelidad; enséñame, porque tú eres mi Dios y mi salvador, [Vau]. y yo espero en ti todo el día.
6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.	6 [Zain] Acuérdate, Señor, de tu compasión y de tu amor, porque son eternos.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.	7 [Jet] No recuerdes los pecados ni las rebeldías de mi juventud: por tu bondad, Señor, acuérdate de mi según tu fidelidad.
8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.	8 [Tet] El Señor es bondadoso y recto: por eso muestra el camino a los extraviados;
9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.	9 [Iod] él guía a los humildes para que obren rectamente y enseña su camino a los pobres.
10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.	10 [Caf] Todos los senderos del Señor son amor y fidelidad, para los que observan los preceptos de su alianza.
11 For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.	11 [Lámed] ¡Por el honor de tu Nombre, Señor, perdona mi culpa, aunque es muy grande!
12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.	12 [Mem] ¿Hay alguien que teme al Señor? El le indicará el camino que debe elegir:
13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.	13 [Nun] su alma descansará feliz y su descendencia poseerá la tierra.
14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.	14 [Sámec] El Señor da su amistad a los que lo temen y les hace conocer su alianza.
15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.	15 [Ain] Mis ojos están siempre fijos en el Señor, porque él sacará mis pies de la trampa.
16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.	16 [Pe] Mírame, Señor, y ten piedad de mí, porque estoy solo y afligido:
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.	17 [Sade] alivia las angustias de mi corazón, y sácame de mis tribulaciones.
18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.	18 [Qof] Mira mi aflicción y mis fatigas, y perdona todos mis pecados.
19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.	19 [Res] Mira qué numerosos son mis enemigos y qué violento es el odio que me tienen.
20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.	20 [Sin] Defiende mi vida y líbrame: que no me avergüence de haber confiado en ti;
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.	21 [Tau] la integridad y la rectitud me protegen, porque yo espero en ti, Señor.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.	22 Salva, Dios mío, a Israel de todas sus angustias.
