Psalms 118

1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.	1 Δοξολογειτε τον Κυριον, διοτι ειναι αγαθος, διοτι το ελεος αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	2 Ας ειπη τωρα ο Ισραηλ, οτι το ελεος αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	3 Ας ειπη τωρα ο οικος Ααρων, οτι το ελεος αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα.
4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	4 Ας ειπωσι τωρα οι φοβουμενοι τον Κυριον, οτι το ελεος αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα.
5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.	5 Εν θλιψει επεκαλεσθην τον Κυριον? ο Κυριος μου υπηκουσε, δους ευρυχωριαν.
6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?	6 Ο Κυριος ειναι υπερ εμου? δεν θελω φοβηθη? τι να μοι καμη ανθρωπος;
7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.	7 Ο Κυριος ειναι υπερ εμου μεταξυ των βοηθουντων με? και εγω θελω ιδει την εκδικησιν επι τους εχθρους μου.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.	8 Καλλιον να ελπιζη τις επι Κυριον, παρα να θαρρη επ' ανθρωπον.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.	9 Καλλιον να ελπιζη τις επι Κυριον, παρα να θαρρη επ' αρχοντας.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.	10 Παντα τα εθνη με περιεκυκλωσαν? αλλ' εν τω ονοματι τον Κυριου θελω κατατροπωσει αυτους.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	11 Με περιεκυκλωσαν, ναι, με περιεκυκλωσαν πανταχοθεν? αλλ' εν τω ονοματι του Κυριου θελω κατατροπωσει αυτους.
12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	12 Με περιεκυκλωσαν ως μελισσαι? εσβεσθησαν ως πυρ ακανθων? διοτι εν τω ονοματι του Κυριου θελω κατατροπωσει αυτους.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.	13 Με ωθησας δυνατα δια να πεσω? αλλ' ο Κυριος με εβοηθησε.
14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.	14 Δυναμις μου και υμνος ειναι ο Κυριος, και εγεινεν εις εμε σωτηρια.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.	15 Φωνη αγαλλιασεως και σωτηριας ειναι εν σκηναις δικαιων? η δεξια του Κυριου καμνει κατορθωματα.
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.	16 Η δεξια του Κυριου υψωθη? η δεξια του Κυριου καμνει κατορθωματα.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.	17 Δεν θελω αποθανει αλλα θελω ζησει και θελω διηγεισθαι τα εργα του Κυριου.
18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.	18 Αυστηρως με επαιδευσεν ο Κυριος, αλλα δεν με παρεδωκεν εις θανατον.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:	19 Ανοιξατε εις εμε τας πυλας της δικαιοσυνης? θελω εισελθει εις αυτας και θελω δοξολογησει τον Κυριον.
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.	20 Αυτη ειναι η πυλη του Κυριου? οι δικαιοι θελουσιν εισελθει εις αυτην.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.	21 Θελω σε δοξολογει, διοτι μου επηκουσας και εγεινες εις εμε σωτηρια.
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.	22 Ο λιθος, τον οποιον απεδοκιμασαν οι οικοδομουντες, ουτος εγεινε κεφαλη γωνιας?
23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.	23 παρα Κυριου εγεινεν αυτη και ειναι θαυμαστη εν οφθαλμοις ημων.
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.	24 Αυτη ειναι η ημερα, την οποιαν εκαμεν ο Κυριος? ας αγαλλιασθωμεν και ας ευφρανθωμεν εν αυτη.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.	25 Ω Κυριε, σωσον, δεομαι? ω Κυριε, ευοδωσον, δεομαι.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.	26 Ευλογημενος ο ερχομενος εν ονοματι Κυριου? σας ευλογησαμεν εκ του οικου του Κυριου.
27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.	27 Ο Θεος ειναι ο Κυριος και εδειξε φως εις ημας? φερετε την θυσιαν δεδεμενην με σχοινια εως των κερατων του θυσιαστηριου.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.	28 Συ εισαι ο Θεος μου, και θελω σε δοξολογει? ο Θεος μου, θελω σε υψονει.
