1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.	1 Celebrate il Signore, perché è buono, eterna è la sua misericordia.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	2 Dica Israele: "Eterna è la sua misericordia".
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	3 Dica la casa di Aronne: "Eterna è la sua misericordia".
4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	4 Dicano quelli che temono il Signore: "Eterna è la sua misericordia".
5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.	5 Nell'angoscia ho gridato al Signore: egli mi ha risposto e mi ha tratto al largo.
6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?	6 Il Signore è per me: non avrò timore; cosa può farmi un uomo?
7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.	7 Il Signore è per me quale aiuto: potrò sfidare quelli che mi odiano.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.	8 E' bene rifugiarsi nel Signore, anziché confidare nell'uomo.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.	9 E' bene rifugiarsi nel Signore, anziché confidare nei potenti.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.	10 Tutte le genti mi avevano circondato, ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	11 Mi avevano circondato, mi avevano accerchiato, ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.
12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	12 Mi avevano circondato come api divamparono come fuoco fra le spine ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.	13 Venni spinto con forza perché io cadessi; ma il Signore è venuto in mio aiuto.
14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.	14 Mia forza e mio canto è il Signore, egli si è fatto salvezza per me.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.	15 Grida di giubilo e di vittoria nelle tende dei giusti!
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.	16 La destra del Signore ha compiuto meraviglie; la destra del Signore s'è elevata, la destra del Signore ha compiuto meraviglie.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.	17 Non morrò, resterò in vita, in modo che annunzi le gesta del Signore.
18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.	18 Duramente il Signore mi ha punito, ma non mi ha consegnato alla morte.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:	19 Apritemi le porte della giustizia: voglio entrarvi e render grazie al Signore.
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.	20 Questa è la porta della giustizia: solo i giusti entrano per essa.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.	21 Ti rendo grazie, poiché mi hai esaudito, e ti sei fatto salvezza per me.
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.	22 La pietra che scartarono i costruttori è diventata testata d'angolo.
23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.	23 Da parte del Signore è avvenuto questo; è una meraviglia ai nostri occhi.
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.	24 Questo è il giorno che ha fatto il Signore: rallegriamoci ed esultiamo in esso.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.	25 Orsù, Signore, da' la salvezza; orsù, Signore, dona la vittoria!
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.	26 Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore; vi benediciamo dalla casa del Signore.
27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.	27 Dio è il Signore e ci ha illuminati. Ordinate il corteo con rami frondosi fino ai lati dell'altare.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.	28 Tu sei il mio Dio e ti rendo grazie; sei il mio Dio, e ti esalto.
