1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.	1 Alléluia! Louez le Seigneur car il est bon, sa grâce est là pour toujours.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	2 Israël peut le dire: sa grâce est là pour toujours!
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	3 Les fils d’Aaron peuvent le dire: sa grâce est là pour toujours!
4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.	4 Ceux qui craignent le Seigneur peuvent aussi le dire: sa grâce est là pour toujours!
5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.	5 Dans mon angoisse je l’ai invoqué, il m’a répondu, il m’a mis au large.
6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?	6 Si le Seigneur est pour moi, je n’ai pas peur, que peuvent-ils me faire?
7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.	7 Le Seigneur est pour moi, parmi mes alliés, et je verrai mes ennemis à mes pieds.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.	8 Il est bon d’espérer dans le Seigneur plutôt que de compter sur des hommes.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.	9 Il est bon d’espérer dans le Seigneur plutôt que de compter sur les grands.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.	10 Tous les païens m’entouraient: mais pour le nom du Seigneur je les ai mis au pas.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	11 Ils m’entouraient, ils m’avaient encerclé mais pour le nom du Seigneur je les ai mis au pas.
12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.	12 Ils m’entouraient comme des guêpes, mais ce ne fut qu’une flambée d’épines, car pour le nom du Seigneur je les ai mis au pas.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.	13 On m’a poussé, bien poussé pour me mettre à terre, mais le Seigneur m’a secouru.
14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.	14 Il est ma force et c’est lui que je chante, car lui m’a sauvé.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.	15 Écoutez dans les tentes des justes les cris de joie et de triomphe: “La droite du Seigneur s’est surpassée,
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.	16 la droite du Seigneur l’a emporté, la droite du Seigneur s’est surpassée!”
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.	17 Je ne mourrai, pas mais je vivrai et je dirai les hauts faits du Seigneur.
18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.	18 Le Seigneur m’a bien corrigé, mais il ne m’a pas livré à la mort.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:	19 Ouvrez-moi les portes du Juste, car je veux entrer et le louer!
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.	20 - C’est ici la porte qui mène au Seigneur, les justes pourront la passer.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.	21 - Je veux te rendre grâces car tu m’as entendu, tu t’es fait mon sauveur!
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.	22 - La pierre rejetée par les bâtisseurs est devenue pierre d’angle.
23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.	23 C’est là l’œuvre du Seigneur, nos yeux ne pouvaient le croire.
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.	24 Voici le jour qu’a fait le Seigneur, soyons tout à la joie, à la fête!
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.	25 Ô Seigneur, sauve-nous, Seigneur, délivre-nous!
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.	26 “Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur: de la maison du Seigneur nous vous bénissons.
27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.	27 Que le Seigneur Dieu soit pour nous lumière!” Rangez la procession, rameaux en mains jusqu’aux cornes de l’autel.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.	28 Tu es mon Dieu, je veux te louer; ô Dieu, je dis que tu es grand!
29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.	29 - Louez le Seigneur car il est bon, car sa grâce est là pour toujours.
