| 1 ܘܡܠܠ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܡ ܡܘܫܐ ܘܥܡ ܐܗܪܘܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ. | 1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said: |
| 2 ܡܠܠܘ ܥܡ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܘܐܡܪܘ ܠܗܘܢ. ܓܒܪ ܓܒܪ ܟܕ ܢܗܘܐ ܕܐ̇ܒ ܡܢ ܒܣܪܗ. ܕܘܒܗ ܛܡܐ ܗܘ. | 2 'Speak to the Israelites and say to them: "When a man has a discharge from his body, that dischargeis unclean. |
| 3 ܘܗܕܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܛܡܐܘܬܐ ܕܕܘܒܗ. ܪܕܐ ܒܣܪܗ ܥܡ ܕܘܒܗ. ܐܘ ܚܬܝܡ ܒܣܪܗ ܡܢ ܕܘܒܗ. ܛܡܐܘܬܗ ܗܝ. | 3 While the discharge continues, the nature of his uncleanness is as fol ows: "Whether his body al owsthe discharge to flow or whether it retains it, he is unclean. |
| 4 ܘܟܠ ܡܫܟܒܐ ܕܕܡ̇ܟ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܕܝ̇ܒܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ. ܘܟܠ ܡܐܢܐ ܕܝ̇ܬܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ. | 4 "Any bed the man lies on and anything he sits on wil be unclean. |
| 5 ܘܓܒܪܐ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܡܫܟܒܗ. ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 5 "Anyone who touches his bed must wash clothing and body and will be unclean until evening. |
| 6 ܘܡ̇ܢ ܕܝ̇ܬܒ ܥܠ ܡܐܢܐ ܕܝ̇ܬܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܕܝ̇ܒܐ. ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 6 "Anyone who sits where the man has sat must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening. |
| 7 ܘܡ̇ܢ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܒܣܪܗ ܕܕܝ̇ܒܐ. ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 7 "Anyone who touches the body of the man with the discharge must wash clothing and body and wil beunclean until evening. |
| 8 ܘܐܢ ܢܪܘܩ ܗ̇ܘ ܡ̇ܢ ܕܕܐ̇ܒ ܥܠ ܡ̇ܢ ܕܕܟܐ. ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 8 "If the man with the discharge spits on someone who is clean, that person must wash clothing andbody and wil be unclean until evening. |
| 9 ܘܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܪܟ̇ܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܗ̇ܘ ܡ̇ܢ ܕܕܐ̇ܒ ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ. | 9 "Any saddle the man has ridden on wil be unclean. |
| 10 ܘܟܠ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܐܝܬ ܬܚܘܬܘܗܝ. ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. ܘܡ̇ܢ ܕܢܫܩܘܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 10 "Al those who touch any object that has been under him wil be unclean until evening. "Anyone whopicks up such an object must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening. |
| 11 ܘܟܠ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܗ̇ܘ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܕܐ̇ܒ. ܡܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܫܝܓ ܐ̈ܝܕܘܗܝ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 11 "Al those whom the man with the discharge touches without having washed his hands must washclothing and body and wil be unclean until evening. |
| 12 ܘܡܐܢܐ ܕܦܚܪܐ ܕܩ̇ܪܒ ܠܗ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܕܐ̇ܒ ܢܬܬܒܪ. ܘܟܠ ܡܐܢܐ ܕܩܝܣܐ ܐܘ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܢܬܬܫܝܓ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. | 12 "The earthenware vessel he touches must be broken and any wooden utensil must be rinsed. |
| 13 ܘܐܢ ܢܬܕܟܐ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܕܐ̇ܒ ܡܢ ܕܘܒܗ. ܢܡܢܐ ܠܗ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܢܬܕܟܐ. ܘܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܣܪܗ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ ܚ̈ܝܐ ܘܢܬܕܟܐ. | 13 "Once the man with the discharge is cured, he will al ow seven days for his purification. He wil washhis clothes and wash his body in running water and he wil be clean. |
| 14 ܘܠܝܘܡܐ ܕܬܡܢܝܐ. ܢܣܒ ܠܗ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܫܘ̈ܦܢܝܢܝܢ. ܐܘ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܝܘܢܐ. ܘܢܝܬܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܕܡܫܟܢܙܒܢܐ. ܘܢܬܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܟܗܢܐ. | 14 On the eighth day he wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before Yahweh at theentrance to the Tent of Meeting and give them to the priest. |
| 15 ܘܢܥܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܟܗܢܐ ܚܕ ܠܚܛܗܐ ܘܚܕ ܠܕܒܚܐ ܫܠܡܐ. ܘܢܚܣܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܟܗܢܐ ܡܢ ܕܘܒܗ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ. | 15 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. And in this waythe priest wil perform the rite of expiation for him before Yahweh for his discharge. |
| 16 ܘܓܒܪܐ ܐܢ ܢܦܘܩ ܡܢܗ ܙܪܥܐ ܕܡܕܡܟܐ. ܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ ܟܠܗ ܒܣܪܗ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 16 "When a man has a seminal discharge, he must wash his whole body with water and wil be uncleanuntil evening. |
| 17 ܘܟܠ ܡܪܛܘܛܐ ܐܘ ܡܫܟܒܐ ܕܢܦܠ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܙܪܥܐ ܕܡܕܡܟܐ. ܢܬܚܠܠ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 17 Any clothing or leather touched by the seminal discharge must be washed and wil be unclean untilevening. |
| 18 ܘܐܢܬܬܐ ܕܢܕܡܟ ܠܘܬܗ̇ ܓܒܪܐ ܡܕܡܟܐ ܕܙܪܥܐ. ܢܣܚܘܢ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܛܡܐܝܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 18 When a woman has had intercourse with a man, both of them must wash and wil be unclean untilevening. |
| 19 ܘܐܢܬܬܐ ܟܕ ܬܗܘܐ ܕܝ̇ܒܐ ܡܢ ܕܡܗ̇. ܢܗܘܐ ܕܘܒܗ̇ ܒܒܣܪܗ̇. ܘܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܬܬܒ ܒܟܦܣܗ̇. ܘܟܠ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܗ̇. ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 19 "Whenever a woman has a discharge and the discharge from her body is of blood, she wil remain ina state of menstrual pol ution for seven days. "Anyone who touches her wil be unclean until evening. |
| 20 ܘܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܬܕܡܟ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܒܟܦܣܗ̇. ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ. ܘܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܬܬܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ. | 20 "Anything she lies on in this pol uted state will be unclean; anything she sits on wil be unclean. |
| 21 ܘܟܠ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܥܪܣܗ̇. ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 21 "Anyone who touches her bed must wash clothing and body and wil be unclean until evening. |
| 22 ܘܟܠ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܟܠ ܡܐܢ ܕܬܬܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ. ܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 22 "Anyone who touches anything she has sat on must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening. |
| 23 ܘܐܢ ܠܡܕܡܟܐ ܐܘ ܠܡܐܢܐ ܕܝ̇ܬܒܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܩܪܒ. ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 23 If there is anything on the bed or where she is sitting, anyone who touches it wil be unclean untilevening. |
| 24 ܘܐܢ ܢܕܡܟ ܠܘܬܗ̇ ܓܒܪܐ ܘܢܦܠ ܡܢ ܟܦܣܗ̇ ܥܠܘܗܝ . ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ. ܘܟܠ ܡܕܡܟܐ ܕܕܡ̇ܟ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ. | 24 "If a man goes so far as to sleep with her, he wil contract her menstrual pollution and will be uncleanfor seven days. Any bed he lies on wil be unclean. |
| 25 ܘܐܢܬܬܐ ܟܕ ܢܕܘܒ ܕܘܒܐ ܕܕܡܗ̇ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ. ܕܠܐ ܙܒܢܐ ܕܟܦܣܗ̇. ܐܘ ܐܢ ܬܕܘܒ ܥܠ ܟܦܣܗ̇. ܟܠ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܕܕܝ̇ܒܐ ܒܛܡܐܘܬܗ̇. ܐܝܟ ܝܘܡ̈ܝ ܟܦܣܗ̇ ܢܗܘܘܢ. ܘܬܗܘܐ ܛܡܐܐ. | 25 "If a woman has a prolonged discharge of blood outside the period, or if the period is prolonged,during the time this discharge lasts she wil be in the same state of uncleanness as during her monthly periods. |
| 26 ܘܟܘܠ ܡܕܡܟܐ ܕܬܕܡܟ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܟܠ ܝܘܡ̈ܝ ܕܘܒܗ̇. ܐܝܟ ܡܕܡܟܐ ܕܟܦܣܗ̇ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܗ̇. ܘܟܘܠ ܡܐܢܐ ܕܬܬܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ. ܐܝܟ ܛܡܐܘܬܐ ܕܟܦܣܗ̇. | 26 Any bed she lies on during the time this discharge lasts will be pol uted in the same way as the bedshe lies on during her monthly periods. Anything she sits on wil be unclean as during her monthly periods. |
| 27 ܘܟܠ ܕܢܩܪܘܒ ܠܗܘܢ ܢܬܛܡܐ. ܘܢܚܠܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܢܣܚܐ ܒܡ̈ܝܐ. ܘܢܗܘܐ ܛܡܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܪܡܫܐ. | 27 Anyone who touches it wil be unclean and must wash clothing and body and will be unclean untilevening. |
| 28 ܘܐܢ ܕܟܝܬ ܡܢ ܕܘܒܗ̇. ܬܡܢܐ ܠܗ̇ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ. ܘܒܬܪܟܝܢ ܬܬܕܟܐ. | 28 "Once she is cured of her discharge, she will allow seven days to go by; after that she will be clean. |
| 29 ܘܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܬܡܢܝܐ ܬܣܒ ܠܗ̇ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܫܘܦܢܝ̈ܢܝܢ ܐܘ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܝܘܢܐ. ܘܬܝܬܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܘܬ ܟܗܢܐ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܕܡܫܟܢܙܒܢܐ. | 29 On the eighth day she wil take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest atthe entrance to the Tent of Meeting. |
| 30 ܘܢܥܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܟܗܢܐ ܚܕ ܠܚܛܗܐ ܘܚܕ ܠܥܠܬܐ. ܘܢܚܣܐ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܟܗܢܐ ܡܢ ܕܘܒܐ ܕܛܡܐܘܬܗ̇ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ. | 30 The priest wil offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt offering. | 31 ܘܬܙܗܪܘܢ ܠܒ̈ܢܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܢ ܛܡܐܘܬܗܘܢ. ܘܠܐ ܢܡܘܬܘܢ ܒܛܡܐܘܬܗܘܢ. ܘܠܐ ܢܛܡܐܘܢ ܡܫܟܢܝ ܕܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ. | 31 "Hence you will warn the Israelites against contracting a state of uncleanness, rather than incurringdeath by defiling my Dwel ing which is among them. |
| 32 ܗܢܐ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܡ̇ܢ ܕܕܐ̇ܒ. ܘܠܡ̇ܢ ܕܢܦܘܩ ܡܢܗ ܙܪܥܐ ܕܡܕܡܟܐ ܕܢܬܛܡܐ ܒܗ. | 32 "Such is the law governing a man with a discharge or who is made unclean by a seminal discharge, |
| 33 ܘܟܦܣܢܝܬܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܒܟܦܣܗ̇. ܘܡ̇ܢ ܕܕܐ̇ܒ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܕܘܒܗ ܕܟܪܐ ܐܘ ܢܩܒܬܐ. ܘܓܒܪܐ ܕܢܕܡܟ ܥܡ ܛܡܐܬܐ. | 33 a woman in a state of pol ution due to menstruation, a man or a woman with a discharge, or a manwho sleeps with a woman when she is unclean." ' |
