1 ܘܠܒܝܬܗ ܒܢܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܬܠܬܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܫܢ̈ܝܢ ܘܐܫܬܟܠܠ ܟܠܗ ܒܝܬܐ1 As regards his palace, Solomon spent thirteen years on it before the building was completed.
2 ܘܒܢܐ ܒܝܬ ܥܒܐ ܕܠܒܢܢ ܡܐܐ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܚܡܫܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܦܬܝܗ ܘܬܠܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܪܘܡܗ ܥܠ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܐ ܣܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܕܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܕܐܪܙܐ ܘܟܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܐܪܙܐ ܥܠ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ2 He built the House of the Forest of Lebanon, a hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubitshigh, on four rows of cedar-wood pil ars,
3 ܘܡܛܠܠ ܒܐܪ̈ܙܐ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܥܠ ܚ̈ܬܐ ܕܥܠ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܝܢ ܘܚܡܫ ܚܡܫܥܣܪܐ ܠܣܕܪܐ3 with lengths of cedar wood laid horizontal y on the pil ars. The upper part was panel ed with cedar rightdown to the tie-beams on forty-five pillars, fifteen in each row.
4 ܘܐܟܣܕܪ̈ܐ ܬܠܬܐ ܣܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܡܩܒܠܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܚܕ ܬܠܬ ܙܒܢܝ̈ܢ4 There were three rows of window-frames, with the windows corresponding to one another at threelevels.
5 ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܘܣ̈ܦܐ ܡܪ̈ܒܥܝܢ ܘܡܩܒܠܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܚܕ ܬܠܬ ܙܒ̈ܢܝܢ5 Al the doorways and windows were rectangular, with the windows corresponding to one another atthree levels.
6 ܘܐܣܛܘܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܥܒܕ ܚܡ̈ܫܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܬܠܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܦܬܝܗ ܘܐܣܛܘܐ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝܗܘܢ ܕܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܘܕܪܬܐ ܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ6 He also made the Colonnade, fifty cubits long and thirty cubits broad, with a cornice in front.
7 ܘܐܣܛܘܐ ܕܟܘܪܣܝܐ ܕܕܐܢ ܗܘܐ ܬܡܢ ܐܣܛܘܐ ܠܕܝܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܘܩܪܡܗ ܒܐܪ̈ܙܐ ܡܢ ܫܬܐ̈ܣܘܗܝ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܡ̈ܘܗܝ7 He also made the Hal of the Throne where he used to dispense justice, that is, the Hal of Justice; it waspanel ed in cedar from floor to beams.
8 ܘܒܝܬܗ ܕܝܬܒ ܗܘܐ ܬܡܢ ܒܕܪܬܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܠܓܘ ܡܢ ܐܣܛܘܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܐ ܗܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܘܒܝܬܐ ܥܒܕ ܠܒܪܬ ܦܪܥܘܢ ܕܢܣܒ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܐ ܗܢܐ8 His own living quarters, in the other court and inwards from the Hal , were of the same construction. Andthere was a house similar to this Hal for Pharaoh's daughter whom he had taken in marriage.
9 ܟܠܗܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܛܒ̈ܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܕܦܣܝܠܬܐ ܕܢܓܝܕܐ ܒܛܘܪܢܣ ܡܢ ܠܓܘ ܘܡܢ ܠܒܪ ܘܡܢ ܫܬܐ̈ܣܘܗܝ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܠ ܘܡܢ ܠܒܪ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܕܪܬܐ ܕܒܝܬܐ9 Al these buildings were of special stones cut to measure, trimmed on the inner and outer sides with thesaw, from the foundations to the coping-
10 ܕܡܬܩܢ ܒܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܛܒ̈ܬܐ ܘܒܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܬܐ ܟܐܦܐ ܕܥܣܪ̈ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܟܐܦܐ ܕܬܡܢܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ10 the foundations were of special stones, huge stones, of ten and eight cubits,
11 ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܟܐ̈ܦܐ ܛܒ̈ܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܕܦܣܝܠܬܐ ܘܐܪ̈ܙܐ11 and, above these, special stones, cut to measure, and cedar wood-
12 ܘܕܪܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪܐ ܬܠܬܐ ܣܚ̈ܦܝܢ ܕܦܣܝܠܬܐ ܘܣܚܦܐ ܕܟܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܐܪ̈ܙܐ ܘܠܕܪܬܐ ܕܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܓܘܝܬܐ ܘܠܐܣܛܘܐ ܕܒܝܬܐ12 and, on the outside, the great court had three courses of dressed stone round it and one course ofcedar beams; so also had the inner court of the Temple of Yahweh and the vestibule of the Temple.
13 ܘܫܕܪ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܘܐܝܬܝ ܠܚܝܪܡ ܡܢ ܨܘܪ13 King Solomon sent for Hiram of Tyre;
14 ܘܗܘ ܒܪ ܐܢܬܬܐ ܗܘܐ ܐܪܡܠܬܐ ܡܢ ܫܒܛܐ ܕܢܦܬܠܝ ܘܐܒܘܗܝ ܓܒܪ ܨܝܪ ܘܐܘܡܢ ܒܢܚܫܐ ܘܐܬܡܠܝ ܚܟܡܬܐ ܘܒܘܝܢܐ ܘܐܝܕܥܬܐ ܠܡܥܒܕ ܟܠ ܥܒܕ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܘܐܬܐ ܠܘܬ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܘܥܒܕ ܟܠܗ ܥܒܕܐ14 he was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, but his father had been a Tyrian, a bronzeworker.He was a highly intel igent craftsman, skil ed in al types of bronzework. He came to King Solomon and did althis work for him.
15 ܘܨܪ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܪܘܡܗ ܕܥܡܘܕܐ ܚܕ ܬܡܢܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܚܘܛܐ ܕܬܪ̈ܬܥܣܪܐ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܟܪܟ ܠܗ ܘܗܟܢܐ ܠܥܡܘܕܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ15 He cast the two bronze pillars; the height of one pil ar was eighteen cubits, and a cord twelve cubitslong gave the measurement of its girth; so also was the second pil ar.
16 ܘܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܟܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܥܒܕ ܠܡܣܡ ܥܠ ܪܝܫܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܕܢܣܟܬܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܚܡܫ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܪܘܡܗ ܕܟܪܡܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܪܘܡܗ ܕܟܪܡܬܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ16 He made two capitals of cast bronze for the tops of the pil ars; the height of one capital was five cubits,and the height of the other five cubits.
17 ܘܗܠܩܐ ܥܒܕ ܗܠܩܐ ܓܕܝܠܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܫ̈ܫܠܬܐ ܠܟܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܥܠ ܪܝܫ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܫܒܥ ܠܟܪܡܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܫܒܥ ܠܟܪܡܬܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ17 He made two sets of filigree to cover the moulding of the two capitals surmounting the pil ars, onefiligree for one capital and one filigree for the other.
18 ܘܥܒܕ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܘܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܣܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܟܕ ܚܕܪܐ ܥܠ ܗܠܩܐ ܚܕ ܠܡܟܣܝܘ ܟܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܥܠ ܪܝܫ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܘܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܠܥܡܘܕܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ18 He also made pomegranates: two rows of them round each filigree,four hundred in al ,
19 ܘܟܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܥܠ ܪܝܫ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܫܘܫܢܬܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܒܐܣܛܘܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ19 The capitals surrounding the pil ars were lily-shaped.
20 ܘܟܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܥܠ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܐܦ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܓܒܐ ܕܠܘܩܒܠ ܗܠܩܐ ܘܪ̈ܘܡܢܐ ܡܐܬܝܢ. ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܣܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܟܕ ܚܕܪܐ ܟܪܡܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܗܟܢܐ ܟܪܡܬܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ20 applied on the raised moulding behind the filigree; there were two hundred pomegranates round onecapital and the same round the other capital.
21 ܘܥܒܕ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܕܐܣܛܘܐ ܕܗܝܟܠܐ ܘܐܩܝܡ ܠܥܡܘܕܐ ܕܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܩܪܐ ܫܡܗ ܝܟܝܢ ܘܐܩܝܡ ܠܥܡܘܕܐ ܕܡܢ ܣܡܠܐ ܘܩܪܐ ܫܡܗ ܒܥܙ21 He erected the pil ars in front of the portico of the Temple, he erected the right-hand pil ar and named itJachin; he erected the left-hand pil ar and named it Boaz.
22 ܘܥܠ ܪܝܫܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܫܘܫܢܬܐ ܘܫܠܡ ܥܒܕܗܘܢ ܕܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ22 Thus, the work on the pillars was completed.
23 ܘܥܒܕ ܝܡܐ ܕܢܣܟܬܐ ܥܣܪ̈ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܡܢ ܣܦܬܗ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܣܦܬܗ ܓܠܝܠ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܘܚܡܫ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܪܘܡܗ ܘܚܘܛܐ ܕܬܠܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܟܪܟ ܠܗ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ23 He made the Sea of cast metal, ten cubits from rim to rim, circular in shape and five cubits high; a cordthirty cubits long gave the measurement of its girth.
24 ܘܦܩܝ̈ܥܐ ܠܬܚܬ ܡܢ ܣܦܬܗ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܟܪ̈ܝܟܝܢ ܠܗ ܥܣܪ̈ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܟܪ̈ܝܟܝܢ ܠܝܡܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܣܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܕܦܩܝ̈ܥܐ ܕܢܣܝܟܝܢ ܒܢܣܟܬܐ24 Under its rim and completely encircling it were gourds surrounding the Sea; over a length of thirtycubits the gourds were in two rows, of one and the same casting with the rest.
25 ܘܩܐܡ ܥܠ ܬܪ̈ܥܣܪ ܬܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܬܠܬܐ ܦܢܝܢ ܠܓܪܒܝܐ ܘܬܠܬܐ ܦܢܝܢ ܠܡܥܪܒܐ ܘܬܠܬܐ ܦܢܝܢ ܠܬܝܡܢܐ ܘܬܠܬܐ ܦܢܝܢ ܠܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܝܡܐ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܠܥܠ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܘܐܚܪ̈ܝܬܗܘܢ ܠܓܘ ܒܝܬܐ25 It rested on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, three facing east; onthese, their hindquarters al turned inwards, stood the Sea.
26 ܘܥܒܝܗ ܦܫܟ ܘܣܦܬܗ ܐܝܟ ܣܦܬܐ ܕܟܣܐ ܘܦܪܥܐ ܕܫܘܫܢܬܐ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܐ̈ܠܦܝܢ ܡܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܐܚܕ26 It was a hand's breadth in thickness, and its rim was shaped like the rim of a cup, lily-shaped. It couldhold two thousand measures.
27 ܘܥܒܕ ܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܥܣܪ̈ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܕܐܓܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܦܬܝܗ ܘܬܠܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܪܘܡܗ27 He made the ten bronze stands; each stand was four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three high.
28 ܘܥܒܕܗܝܢ ܕܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܓܕܢ̈ܦܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗܝܢ28 They were designed as fol ows; they had an undercarriage and crosspieces to the undercarriage.
29 ܘܥܠ ܓܕܢ̈ܦܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܚܢ̈ܩܐ ܐܪ̈ܝܘܬܐ ܘܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܘܥܠ ܟܣ̈ܝܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܘܡܢ ܠܬܚܬ ܐܪ̈ܝܘܬܐ ܘܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܚܙܘܐ ܥܒܕܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ29 On the crosspieces of the undercarriage were lions and bul s and winged creatures, and on top of theundercarriage was a support; under the lions and oxen there were scrolls in the style of. . .
30 ܘܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܓܝ̈ܓܠܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܠܐܓܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܣܪܢܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܘܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܙܘ̈ܝܬܐ ܡܕܒ̈ܩܢ ܠܗܝܢ ܘܟ̈ܬܦܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗܝܢ ܠܬܚܬ ܡܢܗܝܢ. ܟ̈ܬܦܬܐ ܕܢܣܟܬܐ ܥܒܕܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ30 Each stand had four bronze wheels with bronze axles; its four feet had shoulderings under the basin,and the shoulderings were cast. . .
31 ܘܦܘܡܗ ܕܐܓܢܐ ܡܢ ܠܓܘ ܐܡܐ ܘܦܘܡܗ ܓܠܝܠ ܐܡܐ ܘܦܠܓܘܬ ܐܡܐ ܘܐܦ ܥܠ ܦܘܡܗ ܩܥ̈ܝܠܬܐ ܘܓܕܢ̈ܦܐ ܡܪ̈ܒܥܝܢ ܘܠܐ ܓܠܝ̈ܠܝܢ31 Its mouth measured one and a half cubits from where the shoulderings met to the top; its mouth wasround like a stand for a vessel, and on the mouth there were engravings too; the crosspieces, however, wererectangular and not round.
32 ܘܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܓܝ̈ܓܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܠܬܚܬ ܠܓܕܢ̈ܦܐ ܘܐܝ̈ܕܗܬܐ ܕܓ̈ܝܓܠܐ ܒܐܓܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܪܘܡܗ ܕܓܝܓܠܐ ܚܕܐ ܐܡܐ ܘܦܠܓܘܬ ܐܡܐ32 The four wheels were under the crosspieces. The axles of the wheels were inside the stands; theheight of the wheels was one and a half cubits.
33 ܘܥܒ̇ܕܐ ܕܓܝ̈ܓܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܓܝ̈ܓܠܐ ܕܡܪܟܒܬܐ ܘܐ̈ܝܕܝܗܝܢ ܘܓܒ̈ܝܗܝܢ ܘܨܒܬܗܝܢ ܘܫܘܦܪܗܝܢ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܢܣܟܬܐ33 The wheels were designed like chariot wheels: their axles, felloes, spokes and naves had al been cast.
34 ܘܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܟ̈ܬܦܢ ܥܠ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܙܘ̈ܝܬܗ ܕܐܓܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܡܢ ܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܟ̈ܬܦܬܗ34 There were four shoulderings at the four corners of each stand: the stand and the shoulderings were alof a piece.
35 ܘܟܪܣܗ ܕܐܓܢܐ ܦܠܓܘܬ ܐܡܐ ܘܪܘܡܗ ܓܠܝܠ ܟܕ ܚܕܪܐ ܘܥܠ ܪܝܫܗ ܕܐܓܢܐ ܘܐ̈ܝܕܗܬܗ ܘܓܕܢ̈ܦܝܗ ܡܢܗ35 At the top of the stand there was a support, circular in shape and half a cubit high; and on top of thestand there were lugs. The crosspieces were of a piece with the stand.
36 ܘܪܫܝܡ ܥܠ ܠܘܚ̈ܐ ܐ̈ܝܕܗܬܗ ܘܥܠ ܓܕܢ̈ܦܝܗ ܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܘܐܪ̈ܝܘܬܐ ܘܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪܐ36 On the bands he engraved winged creatures and lions and palm leaves. . . and scrol s right round.
37 ܗܟܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܠܥܣܪ̈ ܐ̈ܓܢܝܢ ܢܣܟܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܩܘܡܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܠܟܠܗܝܢ37 He made the ten stands like this: the same casting and the same measurements for all.
38 ܘܥܒܕ ܥܣܪ̈ ܠܩ̈ܢܝܢ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܝܢ ܡܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܐܚܕܐ ܠܩܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܗܘܝܐ ܠܩܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܥܠ ܐܓܢܐ ܚܕܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܠܥܣܪ̈ ܐ̈ܓܢܝܢ38 He made ten bronze basins; each basin held forty measures and each basin measured four cubits, onebasin to each of the ten stands.
39 ܘܥܒܕ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܠܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܚܡܫ ܡܢ ܣܛܪܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܚܡܫ ܡܢ ܣܛܪܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܣܡܠܐ ܘܝܡܐ ܥܒܕ ܡܢ ܣܛܪܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܬܝܡܢ ܡܕܢܚ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܬܝܡܢܐ39 He arranged the stands, five on the right-hand side of the Temple, five on the left-hand side of theTemple; the Sea he placed on the right-hand side of the Temple, to the south east.
40 ܘܥܒܕ ܚܝܪܡ ܠܩ̈ܢܐ ܘܩ̈ܕܣܐ ܘܐܝܪ̈ܐ ܘܩܪ̈ܕܠܐ ܘܫܠܡ ܚܝܪܡ ܠܡܥܒܕ ܟܠܗ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܒܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ40 Hiram made the ash containers, the scoops and the sprinkling bowls. He finished all the work that hedid for King Solomon on the Temple of Yahweh:
41 ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܕܥܠ ܪܝܫ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܘܟܣ̈ܝܐ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܠܡܟܣܝܘ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܕܥܠ ܪܝܫ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ41 Two pil ars; the two mouldings of the capitals surrounding the pil ars; the two sets of filigree to coverthe two mouldings of the capitals surmounting the pil ars;
42 ܘܪ̈ܘܡܢܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܡܐܐ ܠܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܟܣ̈ܝܐ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܣܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܕܪ̈ܘܡܢܐ ܠܟܣܝܐ ܚܕ ܠܡܟܣܝܘ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܦܘ̈ܡܐ ܕܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܕܥܠ ܪܝܫ ܥܡ̈ܘܕܐ42 the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of filigree -- two rows of pomegranates for each set offiligree;
43 ܘܐ̈ܓܢܐ ܥܣܪ̈ ܘܠܩ̈ܢܐ ܥܣܪ̈ ܕܥܠ ܐ̈ܓܢܐ43 the ten stands and the ten basins on the stands;
44 ܘܝܡܐ ܚܕ ܘܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܬܪ̈ܥܣܪ ܕܬܚܝܬ ܝܡܐ44 the one Sea and the twelve oxen beneath the Sea;
45 ܘܩ̈ܕܣܐ ܘܐܝܪ̈ܐ ܘܩܪ̈ܕܠܐ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܕܬܫܡܫܬܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܚܝܪܡ ܠܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܩܘܪܢܬܝܢܐ45 the ash containers, the scoops, and sprinkling bowls. All these objects made by Hiram for KingSolomon for the Temple of Yahweh were of burnished bronze.
46 ܒܟܟܪ ܕܒܦܩܥܬܐ ܕܐܝܪܝܚܘ ܥܠ ܓܒ ܝܘܪܕܢܢ ܢܣܟ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܠܟܐ ܒܫܘܦܪܗ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܒܝܬ ܣܟܘܬ ܘܒܝܬ ܨܪܬܢ46 He made them by the process of sand casting, in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth andZarethan.
47 ܘܥܒܕ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܣܘܓܐܐ ܕܛܒ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܣܟܐ ܠܡܬܩܠܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ47 There were so many of them, that the weight of the bronze was never calculated.
48 ܕܥܒܕ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܕܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܕܒܚܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܘܦܬܘܪܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܕܥܠܘܗܝ ܠܚܡܐ ܕܐ̈ܦܐ48 Solomon made all the objects designed for the Temple of Yahweh: the golden altar and the gold tablefor the loaves of permanent offering;
49 ܘܡܢܪ̈ܬܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܣܢܝܢܐ ܚܡܫ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܚܡܫ ܡܢ ܣܡܠܐ ܩܕܡ ܗܝܟܠܐ ܘܟ̈ܦܐ ܘܫܪ̈ܓܐ ܘܡ̈ܠܩܛܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ49 the lamp-stands, five on the right and five on the left in front of the Debir, of pure gold; the floral work,the lamps, the tongs, of gold;
50 ܘܡܙ̈ܡܟܐ ܘܢܦܛܪ̈ܐ ܘܫ̈ܚܠܐ ܘܟ̈ܦܐ ܘܦܝܪ̈ܡܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܣܢܝܢܐ ܘܩܪܡܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܓܘܝܐ ܕܩܕܘܫ ܩ̈ܘܕܫܐ ܘܕܬܪܥܐ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܕܗܝܟܠܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܣܢܝܢܐ50 the basins, the snuffers, the sprinkling bowls, the incense ladles and the pans, of real gold; the doorpanels -- for the inner shrine -- that is, the Holy of Holies -- and for the Hekal, of gold.
51 ܘܫܠܡ ܟܠܗ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܒܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܝܬܝ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܩ̈ܘܕܫܐ ܕܕܘܝܕ ܐܒܘܗܝ ܟܣܦܐ ܘܕܗܒܐ ܘܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܐܥܠ ܠܓܙܐ ܕܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ51 Thus al the work done by King Solomon for the Temple of Yahweh was completed, and Solomonbrought in the gifts which his father David had consecrated; and he had the silver, the gold and the utensils putinto the treasuries of the Temple of Yahweh.
