Luke 24

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 On the first day of the week, at the first sign of dawn, they went to the tomb with the spices they hadprepared.	1 A hét első napján kora hajnalban a sírhoz mentek, magukkal vitték az illatszereket, amelyeket készítettek.
2 They found that the stone had been rol ed away from the tomb,	2 A követ a sírtól elhengerítve találták.
3 but on entering they could not find the body of the Lord Jesus.	3 Amikor beléptek, nem találták az Úr Jézus testét.
4 As they stood there puzzled about this, two men in bril iant clothes suddenly appeared at their side.	4 Történt pedig, hogy amíg ezen tanakodtak, egyszerre két férfi állt ott mellettük, ragyogó ruhában.
5 Terrified, the women bowed their heads to the ground. But the two said to them, 'Why look among thedead for someone who is alive?	5 Az asszonyok megijedtek, és a földre szegezték tekintetüket. Azok pedig így szóltak hozzájuk: »Miért keresitek az élőt a holtak között?
6 He is not here; he has risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee:	6 Nincs itt, hanem feltámadt. Emlékezzetek csak vissza, mit mondott nektek, mikor még Galileában volt:
7 that the Son of man was destined to be handed over into the power of sinful men and be crucified, andrise again on the third day.'	7 ‘Az Emberfiának a bűnös emberek kezébe kell kerülnie, hogy megfeszítsék, de harmadnapra föltámad.’«
8 And they remembered his words.	8 Ekkor eszükbe jutottak ezek a szavai.
9 And they returned from the tomb and told al this to the Eleven and to al the others.	9 Visszatértek tehát a sírtól, és elmondták mindezt a tizenegynek és a többieknek.
10 The women were Mary of Magdala, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James. And the other womenwith them also told the apostles,	10 Mária Magdolna, Johanna, Mária, Jakab anyja, és a velük lévő többi asszony mondta el mindezt az apostoloknak.
11 but this story of theirs seemed pure nonsense, and they did not believe them.	11 Ők azonban képzelődésnek tartották szavaikat, és nem hittek nekik.
12 Peter, however, went off to the tomb, running. He bent down and looked in and saw the linen clothsbut nothing else; he then went back home, amazed at what had happened.	12 Péter mégis útra kelt, és a sírhoz futott. Behajolt, de csak a lepleket látta, ezért a történteken csodálkozva hazament.
13 Now that very same day, two of them were on their way to a vil age cal ed Emmaus, seven miles fromJerusalem,	13 Aznap ketten közülük egy Emmausz nevű helységbe mentek, amely Jeruzsálemtől hatvan stádium távolságra volt,
14 and they were talking together about al that had happened.	14 s beszélgettek egymással mindarról, ami történt.

17 He said to them, 'What are all these things that you are discussing as you walk along?' They stopped,their faces downcast.	17 Megszólította őket: »Miről beszélgettek egymással útközben?« Ők szomorúan megálltak.
18 Then one of them, called Cleopas, answered him, 'You must be the only person staying in Jerusalemwho does not know the things that have been happening there these last few days.'	18 Az egyik, akinek Kleofás volt a neve, azt felelte: »Te vagy az egyetlen idegen Jeruzsálemben, aki nem tudod, mi történt ott ezekben a napokban?«
19 He asked, 'What things?' 25 Then he said to them, 'You foolish men! So slow to believe al that the prophets have said!	25 Erre ő azt mondta nekik: »Ó, ti oktalanok és késedelmes szívűek arra, hogy elhiggyétek mindazt, amit a próféták mondtak!

27 Then, starting with Moses and going through al the prophets, he explained to them the passagesthroughout the scriptures that were about himself.	27 És kezdve Mózesen és valamennyi prófétán, mindent megmagyarázott nekik, ami az Írásokban róla szólt.
28 When they drew near to the vil age to which they were going, he made as if to go on;	28 Mikor odaértek a faluhoz, ahová mentek, úgy tett, mintha tovább akarna menni.
29 but they pressed him to stay with them saying, 'It is nearly evening, and the day is almost over.' So hewent in to stay with them.	29 De marasztalták: »Maradj velünk, mert esteledik, és lemenőben van már a nap!« Bement hát, hogy velük maradjon.
30 Now while he was with them at table, he took the bread and said the blessing; then he broke it andhanded it to them.	30 Amikor asztalhoz ült velük, fogta a kenyeret, áldást mondott, megtörte, és odanyújtotta nekik.
31 And their eyes were opened and they recognised him; but he had vanished from their sight.	31 Ekkor megnyílt a szemük, és felismerték, de ő eltűnt a szemük elől.
32 Then they said to each other, 'Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked to us on the road andexplained the scriptures to us?'	32 Ők pedig így szóltak egymáshoz: »Hát nem lángolt a szívünk, amikor beszélt hozzánk az úton, és feltárta előttünk az Írásokat?«
33 They set out that instant and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven assembled togetherwith their companions,	33 Még abban az órában útra keltek, és visszatértek Jeruzsálembe, ahol egybegyűlve találták a tizenegyet és a velük levőket.
34 who said to them, 'The Lord has indeed risen and has appeared to Simon.'	34 Azok elmondták: »Valóban feltámadt az Úr, és megjelent Simonnak!«
35 Then they told their story of what had happened on the road and how they had recognised him at thebreaking of bread.	35 Erre ők is elbeszélték, ami az úton történt, és azt, hogy hogyan ismerték fel őt a kenyértöréskor.
36 They were still talking about al this when he himself stood among them and said to them, 'Peace bewith you!'	36 Amíg ezekről beszéltek, egyszer csak maga Jézus állt közöttük, és azt mondta nekik: »Békesség nektek!«
37 In a state of alarm and fright, they thought they were seeing a ghost.	37 Megrémültek és féltek, mert azt hitték, hogy szellemet látnak.
38 But he said, 'Why are you so agitated, and why are these doubts stirring in your hearts?	38 De ő megkérdezte tőlük: »Miért rémültetek meg, és miért támad kétely szívetekben?
39 See by my hands and my feet that it is I myself. Touch me and see for yourselves; a ghost has noflesh and bones as you can see I have.'	39 Nézzétek meg a kezemet és lábamat, hogy valóban én vagyok! Tapintsatok meg, és lássátok, mert a szellemnek nincs húsa és csontja, de amint látjátok, nekem van.«
40 And as he said this he showed them his hands and his feet.	40 Ezt mondta, azután megmutatta nekik a kezét és a lábát.
41 Their joy was so great that they stil could not believe it, as they were dumbfounded; so he said tothem, 'Have you anything here to eat?'	41 Mivel örömükben még mindig nem hittek, és csak csodálkoztak, azt mondta nekik: »Van itt valami ennivalótok?«
42 And they offered him a piece of gril ed fish,	42 Erre adtak neki egy darab sült halat.
43 which he took and ate before their eyes.	43 Elvette, és a szemük láttára evett belőle.
44 Then he told them, 'This is what I meant when I said, while I was stil with you, that everything writtenabout me in the Law of Moses, in the Prophets and in the Psalms, was destined to be fulfilled.'	44 Azután így szólt hozzájuk: »Ezek azok az igék, amelyeket elmondtam nektek, amikor még veletek voltam, hogy be kell teljesedni mindannak, ami meg van írva rólam Mózes törvényében, a prófétákban és a zsoltárokban.«
45 He then opened their minds to understand the scriptures,	45 Akkor megnyitotta értelmüket, hogy megértsék az Írásokat.
46 and he said to them, 'So it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the third day rise from thedead,	46 Azt mondta nekik: »Úgy van megírva, hogy a Krisztusnak szenvednie kell, és harmadnapon feltámadni a halálból.
47 and that, in his name, repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached to al nations,beginning from Jerusalem.	47 A nevében megtérést kell hirdetni a bűnök bocsánatára Jeruzsálemtől kezdve minden népnek.
48 You are witnesses to this.	48 Ti tanúi vagytok ezeknek.
49 'And now I am sending upon you what the Father has promised. Stay in the city, then, until you areclothed with the power from on high.'	49 Én majd elküldöm nektek azt, amit Atyám ígért. Ti csak maradjatok a városban, amíg el nem tölt az erő benneteket a magasságból.«
50 Then he took them out as far as the outskirts of Bethany, and raising his hands he blessed them.	50 Ezután kivezette őket Betánia közelébe, felemelte a kezét, és megáldotta őket.
51 Now as he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up to heaven.	51 Áldás közben eltávozott tőlük, és fölvitetett a mennybe.
52 They worshipped him and then went back to Jerusalem ful of joy;	52 Leborulva imádták, azután nagy örömmel visszatértek Jeruzsálembe.
53 and they were continually in the Temple praising God.	53 Szüntelen ott voltak a templomban, és áldották Istent.
