Leviticus 24

NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Промовив Господь до Мойсея:
2 'Order the Israelites to bring you crushed-olive oil for the lamp-stand, and keep a flame burning therecontinual y.	2 «Накажи синам Ізраїля, щоб принесли тобі чистої олії з розчавлених оливок для світильника, щоб тримати лямпи засвіченими повсякчасно.
3 Aaron wil keep it permanently in trim from evening to morning, outside the curtain of the Testimony inthe Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for your descendants:	3 Арон поставить його ззовні завіси завіту в наметі зборів, щоб з вечора до ранку горів перед Господом повсякчасно. Це повсякчасний закон для ваших нащадків.
4 Aaron wil keep the lamps permanently trimmed on the pure lamp-stand before Yahweh.	4 На щирозолотому свічнику він порозставляє лямпадки, які горітимуть повсякчасно перед Господом.
5 'You will take wheaten flour and with it bake twelve loaves, each of two-tenths of an ephah.	5 Візьмеш питльованої муки та й спечеш із неї дванадцять коржів, дві десятини ефи кожний,
6 You will then place them in two rows of six on the pure table before Yahweh	6 і покладеш їх у два ряди, по шість до ряду, на чистому столі перед Господом;
7 and put pure incense on each row, to make it food offered as a memorial, food burnt for Yahweh.	7 а на кожен ряд покладеш чистого ладану, що буде на хлібі як пахощі на спалення перед Господом.
8 Every Sabbath they wil be arranged before Yahweh. The Israelites wil provide them as a permanentcovenant.	8 Що кожної суботи напоготовлятимуть його перед Господом, повсякчасно, як віковічний союз від синів Ізраїля.
9 They wil belong to Aaron and his sons, who wil eat them inside the holy place since, for him, they arean especial y holy part of the food burnt for Yahweh. This is a permanent law.'	9 Він (хліб) буде Аронові й синам його, й вони їстимуть його на святому місці, бо, як пресвята річ із вогняних жертв Господеві, належиться йому по віковічному праву.»
10 There was a man whose mother was an Israelite woman and whose father was an Egyptian. Hecame out of his house and, in the camp, surrounded by the Israelites, he began to quarrel with a man who wasan Israelite.	10 Раз зайшов між синів Ізраїля один, що його мати була ізраїльтянкою, а батько єгиптянином, то зчинилась у таборі суперечка між сином ізраїльтянки та одним ізраїльтянином.
11 Now the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed it. He was then taken toMoses (his mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan).	11 І став син ізраїльтянки хулити ім’я (Господа) і клясти його. І приведено його до Мойсея. Мати ж його звалась Шеломіт, дочка Діврі, з покоління Дана.
12 He was then put under guard until Yahweh's will should be made clear to them.	12 І віддано його під сторожу, поки Мойсей не об’явить їм, що валить Господь.
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	13 І Господь сказав Мойсеєві:
14 'Take the man who pronounced the curse outside the camp. Al those who heard him must then laytheir hands on his head, and the whole community must then stone him.	14 «Виведи богохульника поза табір, і нехай усі, хто чув, покладуть свої руки йому на голову, і нехай уся громада його каменує.
15 Then say to the Israelites: "Anyone who curses his God will bear the consequences of his sin,	15 До синів же Ізраїля промовиш: Хоч хто б то був, що клястиме Бога свого, понесе кару за свій гріх.
16 and anyone who blasphemes the name of Yahweh wil be put to death; the whole community wilstone him; be he alien or native-born, if he blasphemes the Name, he wil be put to death.	16 Хто хулить ім’я Господнє, того скарати смертю, вся громада нехай каменує його; чи приходень, чи тубілець, як хулитиме Ім’я, мусить умерти.
17 "Anyone who strikes down any other human being will be put to death.	17 Хто вбив би на смерть яку людину, його треба скарати смертю.
18 "Anyone who strikes down an animal will make restitution for it: a life for a life.	18 Хто вб’є яку скотину, мусить за неї віддати, скотину за скотину.
19 "Anyone who injures a neighbour shall receive the same in return,	19 Хто зранить свого ближнього, — що вчинив він, те й йому нехай учинять.
20 broken limb for broken limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As the injury inflicted, so will be the injurysuffered.	20 Перелом за перелом, око за око, зуб за зуб; яке ушкодження він заподіяв людині, такого нехай завдадуть йому.
21 Whoever strikes down an animal wil make restitution for it, and whoever strikes down a human beingwil be put to death.	21 Хто вб’є скотину, мусить за неї повернути; хто вб’є людину, мусить бути скараний смертю.
22 The sentence you pass wil be the same, whether on native-born or on alien; for I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 Одно право буде в вас, так для приходня, як і для тубільця; я бо — Господь, Бог ваш.»
23 Moses having told the Israelites this, they took the man who had pronounced the curse out of thecamp and stoned him. And so the Israelites carried out Yahweh's order to Moses.	23 І коли Мойсей об’явив це синам Ізраїля, вони вивели богохульника поза табір та й укаменували його. І вчинили сини Ізраїля так, як заповідав Господь Мойсеєві.
