1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 E Il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'Order the Israelites to bring you crushed-olive oil for the lamp-stand, and keep a flame burning therecontinual y.	2 Ordina a' figliuoli d'Israele, che ti portino dell'olio di uliva purissimo, e chiaro per mantenere continuamente le lucerne
3 Aaron wil keep it permanently in trim from evening to morning, outside the curtain of the Testimony inthe Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for your descendants:	3 Fuori del velo del testimonio nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza. E le collocherà Aronne dinanzi al Signore, perché vi sieno dalla sera sino al mattino: ceremonia, e rito perpetuo sarà questo per tutti i vostri posteri.
4 Aaron wil keep the lamps permanently trimmed on the pure lamp-stand before Yahweh.	4 Saranno sempre collocate sopra il candelabro tersissimo davanti al Signore.
5 'You will take wheaten flour and with it bake twelve loaves, each of two-tenths of an ephah.	5 Prenderai pure del fior di farina, e ne farai dodici pani, ognuno de’ quali conterrà due decimi (d'un ephi):
6 You will then place them in two rows of six on the pure table before Yahweh	6 De' quali ne metterai sei per parte sopra la mensa tersissima dinanzi al Signore:
7 and put pure incense on each row, to make it food offered as a memorial, food burnt for Yahweh.	7 E sopra di essi porrai dell'incenso lucidissimo, affinché il pane sia monumento d'obblazione al Signore.
8 Every Sabbath they wil be arranged before Yahweh. The Israelites wil provide them as a permanentcovenant.	8 Ogni sabato si cambieranno (i pani) al cospetto del Signore, ricevendoli da' figliuoli d'Israele per rito sempiterno:
9 They wil belong to Aaron and his sons, who wil eat them inside the holy place since, for him, they arean especial y holy part of the food burnt for Yahweh. This is a permanent law.'	9 E apparterranno per diritto perpetuo ad Aronne, e ai suoi figliuoli, perché li mangino nel luogo santo; perocché sono cosa santissima, e offerta al Signore.
10 There was a man whose mother was an Israelite woman and whose father was an Egyptian. Hecame out of his house and, in the camp, surrounded by the Israelites, he began to quarrel with a man who wasan Israelite.	10 Ed eccoti, che un figliuolo di donna Israelita, cui questa aveva avuto da un Egiziano dimorante tra' figliuoli d'Israele, attaccò mischia negli alloggiamenti con uno Israelita.
11 Now the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed it. He was then taken toMoses (his mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan).	11 E avendo bestemmiato e maledetto quel nome, fu condotto a Mosè (la madre di lui chiamavasi Salumith, figliuola di Dabri della tribù di Dan):
12 He was then put under guard until Yahweh's will should be made clear to them.	12 E lo cacciarono in prigione, persino a tanto che sapessero quel che ordinasse il Signore:
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	13 Il quale parlò a Mosè,
14 'Take the man who pronounced the curse outside the camp. Al those who heard him must then laytheir hands on his head, and the whole community must then stone him.	14 E disse: Conduci il bestemmiatore fuor degli alloggiamenti, e tutti quelli che lo han sentito, pongan le lor mani sul capo di lui, e tutto il popolo lo lapidi.
15 Then say to the Israelites: "Anyone who curses his God will bear the consequences of his sin,	15 E dirai a' figliuoli d'Israele: Chiunque maledirà il suo Dio, porterà la pena del suo peccato:
16 and anyone who blasphemes the name of Yahweh wil be put to death; the whole community wilstone him; be he alien or native-born, if he blasphemes the Name, he wil be put to death.	16 E chi bestemmierà il nome del Signore, sia messo a morte: lo lapiderà tutto il popolo, sia egli cittadino, o sia forestiero. Chi bestemmierà il nome del Signore, sia messo a morte.
17 "Anyone who strikes down any other human being will be put to death.	17 Chi percuoterà, e ucciderà un uomo, sia messo a morte.
18 "Anyone who strikes down an animal will make restitution for it: a life for a life.	18 Chi percuoterà una bestia, ne renderà un'altra in sua vece, vale a dire una bestia per un'altra.
19 "Anyone who injures a neighbour shall receive the same in return,	19 Chi offenderà nella persona qualunque de' suoi concittadini, sarà fatto ad esso, come egli ha fatto altrui.
20 broken limb for broken limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As the injury inflicted, so will be the injurysuffered.	20 Darà rottura per la rottura, occhio pell'occhio, dente pel dente: qual è il mal, che ha fatto, tal egli il sopporterà.
21 Whoever strikes down an animal wil make restitution for it, and whoever strikes down a human beingwil be put to death.	21 Chi ucciderà un giumento, ne renderà un altro: chi ucciderà un uomo, sarà punito.
22 The sentence you pass wil be the same, whether on native-born or on alien; for I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 La stessa giustizia si farà tra voi riguardo al peccato commesso dal cittadino, o dal forestiero: perocché io sono il Signore Dio vostro.
23 Moses having told the Israelites this, they took the man who had pronounced the curse out of thecamp and stoned him. And so the Israelites carried out Yahweh's order to Moses.	23 E Mosè parlò ai figliuoli d'Israele: e questi condussero fuori degli alloggiamenti il bestemmiatore, e lo lapidarono. E i figliuoli d'Israele fecero, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.
