Leviticus 24

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 وكلم الرب موسى قائلا
2 'Order the Israelites to bring you crushed-olive oil for the lamp-stand, and keep a flame burning therecontinual y.	2 اوص بني اسرائيل ان يقدموا اليك زيت زيتون مرضوض نقيا للضوء لإيقاد السرج دائما.
3 Aaron wil keep it permanently in trim from evening to morning, outside the curtain of the Testimony inthe Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for your descendants:	3 خارج حجاب الشهادة في خيمة الاجتماع يرتبها هرون من المساء الى الصباح امام الرب دائما فريضة دهرية في اجيالكم.
4 Aaron wil keep the lamps permanently trimmed on the pure lamp-stand before Yahweh.	4 على المنارة الطاهرة يرتب السرج امام الرب دائما
5 'You will take wheaten flour and with it bake twelve loaves, each of two-tenths of an ephah.	5 وتأخذ دقيقا وتخبزه اثني عشر قرصا. عشرين يكون القرص الواحد.
6 You will then place them in two rows of six on the pure table before Yahweh	6 وتجعلها صفّين كل صفّ ستة على المائدة الطاهرة امام الرب.
7 and put pure incense on each row, to make it food offered as a memorial, food burnt for Yahweh.	7 وتجعل على كل صف لبانا نقيا فيكون للخبز تذكارا وقودا للرب.
8 Every Sabbath they wil be arranged before Yahweh. The Israelites wil provide them as a permanentcovenant.	8 في كل يوم سبت يرتبه امام الرب دائما من عند بني اسرائيل ميثاقا دهريا.
9 They wil belong to Aaron and his sons, who wil eat them inside the holy place since, for him, they arean especial y holy part of the food burnt for Yahweh. This is a permanent law.'	9 فيكون لهرون وبنيه فياكلونه في مكان مقدس. لانه قدس اقداس له من وقائد الرب فريضة دهرية
10 There was a man whose mother was an Israelite woman and whose father was an Egyptian. Hecame out of his house and, in the camp, surrounded by the Israelites, he began to quarrel with a man who wasan Israelite.	10 وخرج ابن امرأة اسرائيلية وهو ابن رجل مصري في وسط بني اسرائيل وتخاصم في المحلّة ابن الاسرائيلية ورجل اسرائيلي.
11 Now the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed it. He was then taken toMoses (his mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan).	11 فجدّف ابن الاسرائيلية على الاسم وسبّ. فأتوا به الى موسى. وكان اسم امه شلومية بنت دبري من سبط دان.
12 He was then put under guard until Yahweh's will should be made clear to them.	12 فوضعوه في المحرس ليعلن لهم عن فم الرب
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	13 فكلم الرب موسى قائلا
14 'Take the man who pronounced the curse outside the camp. Al those who heard him must then laytheir hands on his head, and the whole community must then stone him.	14 اخرج الذي سبّ الى خارج المحلّة فيضع جميع السامعين ايديهم على راسه ويرجمه كل الجماعة.
15 Then say to the Israelites: "Anyone who curses his God will bear the consequences of his sin,	15 وكلم بني اسرائيل قائلا كل من سبّ الهه يحمل خطيته.
16 and anyone who blasphemes the name of Yahweh wil be put to death; the whole community wilstone him; be he alien or native-born, if he blasphemes the Name, he wil be put to death.	16 ومن جدف على اسم الرب فانه يقتل. يرجمه كل الجماعة رجما. الغريب كالوطني عندما يجدف على الاسم يقتل.
17 "Anyone who strikes down any other human being will be put to death.	17 واذا امات احد انسانا فانه يقتل.
18 "Anyone who strikes down an animal will make restitution for it: a life for a life.	18 ومن امات بهيمة يعوّض عنها نفسا بنفس.
19 "Anyone who injures a neighbour shall receive the same in return,	19 واذا احدث انسان في قريبه عيبا فكما فعل كذلك يفعل به.
20 broken limb for broken limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As the injury inflicted, so will be the injurysuffered.	20 كسر بكسر وعين بعين وسنّ بسن. كما احدث عيبا في الانسان كذلك يحدث فيه.
21 Whoever strikes down an animal wil make restitution for it, and whoever strikes down a human beingwil be put to death.	21 من قتل بهيمة يعوّض عنها ومن قتل انسانا يقتل.
22 The sentence you pass wil be the same, whether on native-born or on alien; for I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 حكم واحد يكون لكم. الغريب يكون كالوطني. اني انا الرب الهكم.
23 Moses having told the Israelites this, they took the man who had pronounced the curse out of thecamp and stoned him. And so the Israelites carried out Yahweh's order to Moses.	23 فكلم موسى بني اسرائيل ان يخرجوا الذي سبّ الى خارج المحلّة ويرجموه بالحجارة. ففعل بنو اسرائيل كما امر الرب موسى
