Leviticus 24

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
2 'Order the Israelites to bring you crushed-olive oil for the lamp-stand, and keep a flame burning therecontinual y.	2 "Ordena aos israelitas que te tragam óleo puro de olivas esmagadas para manter, continuamente, acesas as lâmpadas do candelabro.
3 Aaron wil keep it permanently in trim from evening to morning, outside the curtain of the Testimony inthe Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for your descendants:	3 Aarão prepará-las-á fora do véu do testemunho, na tenda de reunião, a fim de que elas queimem continuamente, da tarde à manhã, diante do Senhor.
4 Aaron wil keep the lamps permanently trimmed on the pure lamp-stand before Yahweh.	4 Disporá as lâmpadas no candelabro de ouro puro, para que queimem continuamente diante do Senhor.
5 'You will take wheaten flour and with it bake twelve loaves, each of two-tenths of an ephah.	5 Tomarás também flor de farinha e farás com ela doze bolos cozidos, cada um dos quais com dois décimos de efá.
6 You will then place them in two rows of six on the pure table before Yahweh	6 Dispô-los-ás em duas pilhas de seis na mesa de ouro puro diante do Senhor.
7 and put pure incense on each row, to make it food offered as a memorial, food burnt for Yahweh.	7 Sobre cada pilha porás incenso puro, que será um memorial oferecido pelo fogo ao Senhor.
8 Every Sabbath they wil be arranged before Yahweh. The Israelites wil provide them as a permanentcovenant.	8 Colocar-se-ão esses pães diante do Senhor a cada sábado, continuamente, da parte dos israelitas: esta é uma aliança perpétua.
9 They wil belong to Aaron and his sons, who wil eat them inside the holy place since, for him, they arean especial y holy part of the food burnt for Yahweh. This is a permanent law.'	9 Esses pães serão propriedade de Aarão e de seus filhos, que os comerão no lugar santo; isso será para eles uma coisa santíssima entre as ofertas feitas pelo fogo ao Senhor. É uma lei perpétua."
10 There was a man whose mother was an Israelite woman and whose father was an Egyptian. Hecame out of his house and, in the camp, surrounded by the Israelites, he began to quarrel with a man who wasan Israelite.	10 O filho de uma mulher israelita, tendo por pai um egípcio, veio entre os israelitas. E, discutindo no acampamento com um deles,
11 Now the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed it. He was then taken toMoses (his mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan).	11 o filho da mulher israelita blasfemou contra o santo nome e o amaldiçoou. Sua mãe chamava-se Salumite, filha de Dabri, da tribo de Dã.
12 He was then put under guard until Yahweh's will should be made clear to them.	12 Puseram-no em prisão até que Moisés tomasse uma decisão, segundo a ordem do Senhor."
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	13 Então o Senhor disse a Moisés:
14 'Take the man who pronounced the curse outside the camp. Al those who heard him must then laytheir hands on his head, and the whole community must then stone him.	14 "Faze sair do acampamento o blasfemo, e todos aqueles que o ouviram ponham a mão sobre a sua cabeça, e toda a assembléia o apedreje.
15 Then say to the Israelites: "Anyone who curses his God will bear the consequences of his sin,	15 Dirás aos israelitas: todo aquele que amaldiçoar o seu Deus levará o seu pecado.
16 and anyone who blasphemes the name of Yahweh wil be put to death; the whole community wilstone him; be he alien or native-born, if he blasphemes the Name, he wil be put to death.	16 Quem blasfemar o nome do Senhor será punido de morte: toda a assembléia o apedrejará. Quer seja ele estrangeiro ou natural, se blasfemar contra o santo nome, será punido de morte."
17 "Anyone who strikes down any other human being will be put to death.	17 "Todo aquele que ferir mortalmente um homem será morto.
18 "Anyone who strikes down an animal will make restitution for it: a life for a life.	18 Quem tiver ferido de morte um animal doméstico, dará outro em seu lugar: vida por vida.
19 "Anyone who injures a neighbour shall receive the same in return,	19 Se um homem ferir o seu próximo, assim como fez, assim se lhe fará a ele:
20 broken limb for broken limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As the injury inflicted, so will be the injurysuffered.	20 fratura por fratura, olho por olho e dente por dente; ser-lhe-á feito o mesmo que ele fez ao seu próximo;
21 Whoever strikes down an animal wil make restitution for it, and whoever strikes down a human beingwil be put to death.	21 Quem matar um animal, restituirá outro, mas o que matar um homem será punido de morte.
22 The sentence you pass wil be the same, whether on native-born or on alien; for I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 Só haverá uma lei entre vós tanto para o estrangeiro como para o natural: porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus".
23 Moses having told the Israelites this, they took the man who had pronounced the curse out of thecamp and stoned him. And so the Israelites carried out Yahweh's order to Moses.	23 Moisés transmitiu essas normas aos israelitas. Tiraram do acampamento o blasfemo e o apedrejaram, conforme a ordem que o Senhor tinha dado a Moisés.
