Leviticus 24

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'Order the Israelites to bring you crushed-olive oil for the lamp-stand, and keep a flame burning therecontinual y.	2 « Comanda ai figli d'Israele di portare dell'olio d'oliva purissimo e chiaro per mantenere sempre accese le lampade,
3 Aaron wil keep it permanently in trim from evening to morning, outside the curtain of the Testimony inthe Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for your descendants:	3 fuori del velo della testimonianza nel Tabernacolo dell'alleanza. Aronne le metterà dinanzi al Signore dalla sera alla mattina, con cerimonia e rito perpetuo nelle vostre generazioni.
4 Aaron wil keep the lamps permanently trimmed on the pure lamp-stand before Yahweh.	4 Saran sempre collocate davanti al Signore sul candelabro purissimo.
5 'You will take wheaten flour and with it bake twelve loaves, each of two-tenths of an ephah.	5 Prenderai inoltre del fior di farina e ne farai dodici pani di due decimi ciascuno,
6 You will then place them in two rows of six on the pure table before Yahweh	6 e ne metterai sei per parte sopra la tavola purissima dinanzi al Signore.
7 and put pure incense on each row, to make it food offered as a memorial, food burnt for Yahweh.	7 Porrai sopra di essi dell'incenso purissimo, affinchè sia pane ricordo dell'oblazione del Signore.
8 Every Sabbath they wil be arranged before Yahweh. The Israelites wil provide them as a permanentcovenant.	8 Saranno cambiati ogni sabato nel cospetto del Signore: saran ricevuti dai figli d'Israele con patto perpetuo,
9 They wil belong to Aaron and his sons, who wil eat them inside the holy place since, for him, they arean especial y holy part of the food burnt for Yahweh. This is a permanent law.'	9 e apparterranno ad Aronne e ai suoi figli che li mangeranno in luogo santo, perchè sono cosa santissima dei sacrifizi del Signore: è un diritto perpetuo ».
10 There was a man whose mother was an Israelite woman and whose father was an Egyptian. Hecame out of his house and, in the camp, surrounded by the Israelites, he began to quarrel with a man who wasan Israelite.	10 Or ecco uscir fuori il figlio che una donna israelita aveva avuto da un egiziano dimorante tra i figli d'Israele, e attaccar lite negli accampamenti con uno israelita.
11 Now the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed it. He was then taken toMoses (his mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan).	11 La sua madre si chiamava Salumit, figlia di Dabri, della tribù di Dan. Avendo costui bestemmiato e maledetto il Nome, fu condotto a Mosè,
12 He was then put under guard until Yahweh's will should be made clear to them.	12 e cacciato in prigione, finché non si sapessero gli ordini del Signore,
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	13 Il quale parlò a Mosè,
14 'Take the man who pronounced the curse outside the camp. Al those who heard him must then laytheir hands on his head, and the whole community must then stone him.	14 dicendo: «Fa' condurre il bestemmiatore fuori degli accampamenti; tutti quelli che lo han sentito oppongano le mani sul suo capo, e tutto il popolo lo lapidi.
15 Then say to the Israelites: "Anyone who curses his God will bear the consequences of his sin,	15 Dirai inoltre ai figli d'Israele: Chiunque maledirà il suo Dio porterà il suo peccato;
16 and anyone who blasphemes the name of Yahweh wil be put to death; the whole community wilstone him; be he alien or native-born, if he blasphemes the Name, he wil be put to death.	16 chi bestemmierà il nome del Signore sarà messo a morte: lo dovrà lapidare tutto il popolo. Cittadino o forestiero che sia, chi bestemmierà il nome del Signore sia messo a morte.
17 "Anyone who strikes down any other human being will be put to death.	17 Chi percuoterà o ucciderà un uomo sia messo a morte.
18 "Anyone who strikes down an animal will make restitution for it: a life for a life.	18 Chi percuoterà una bestia ne renderà un'altra in sua vece, vita per vita.
19 "Anyone who injures a neighbour shall receive the same in return,	19 Quand'uno avrà offeso qualche persona dei suoi concittadini, gli sarà fatto quel che ha fatto agli altri:
20 broken limb for broken limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As the injury inflicted, so will be the injurysuffered.	20 rottura per rottura, occhio per occhio, dente per dente: sopporterà il medesimo male che ha fatto.
21 Whoever strikes down an animal wil make restitution for it, and whoever strikes down a human beingwil be put to death.	21 Chi ucciderà un giumento ne renderà un altro, chi ucciderà un uomo sarà punito.
22 The sentence you pass wil be the same, whether on native-born or on alien; for I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 pronunziate tra voi giusta sentenza tanto pel forestiero che pel cittadino, perchè io sono il Signore Dio vostro ».
23 Moses having told the Israelites this, they took the man who had pronounced the curse out of thecamp and stoned him. And so the Israelites carried out Yahweh's order to Moses.	23 E Mosè parlò ai figli d'Israele ed essi menato il bestemmiatore fuori degli accampamenti, lo lapidarono. Così i figli d'Israele fecero qmdlo che il Signore aveva ordinato a, Mosè.
