Leviticus 24

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Így szólt továbbá az Úr Mózeshez:
2 'Order the Israelites to bring you crushed-olive oil for the lamp-stand, and keep a flame burning therecontinual y.	2 »Parancsold meg Izrael fiainak, hogy hozzanak neked teljesen tiszta, világos faolajat, hogy állandóan mécseseket lehessen fenntartani
3 Aaron wil keep it permanently in trim from evening to morning, outside the curtain of the Testimony inthe Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for your descendants:	3 a bizonyság függönyén kívül, a szövetség sátrában. Áron állítsa fel őket, estétől reggelig égjenek az Úr előtt: örök rend- és szertartás legyen ez nemzedékről nemzedékre közöttetek.
4 Aaron wil keep the lamps permanently trimmed on the pure lamp-stand before Yahweh.	4 A színarany mécstartóra kerüljenek, állandóan az Úr előtt égjenek.
5 'You will take wheaten flour and with it bake twelve loaves, each of two-tenths of an ephah.	5 Végy továbbá lisztlángot és süss belőle tizenkét kenyeret – két-két tizednyi legyen mindegyik –,
6 You will then place them in two rows of six on the pure table before Yahweh	6 és tedd őket hatonként egymás mellé a színarany asztalra az Úr elé,
7 and put pure incense on each row, to make it food offered as a memorial, food burnt for Yahweh.	7 és tégy rájuk világos tömjént, a kenyérnek az Úr tűzáldozatára szánt emlékeztető részéül.
8 Every Sabbath they wil be arranged before Yahweh. The Israelites wil provide them as a permanentcovenant.	8 Ezeket minden szombaton fel kell váltani az Úr előtt, mint örök szövetségi járandóságot Izrael fiai részéről,
9 They wil belong to Aaron and his sons, who wil eat them inside the holy place since, for him, they arean especial y holy part of the food burnt for Yahweh. This is a permanent law.'	9 azután Ároné és fiaié legyenek, hogy egyék meg szent helyen, mert szentséges részként őket illetik az Úr tűzáldozataiból örök törvény alapján.«
10 There was a man whose mother was an Israelite woman and whose father was an Egyptian. Hecame out of his house and, in the camp, surrounded by the Israelites, he began to quarrel with a man who wasan Israelite.	10 Kiment pedig egy izraelita asszonynak a fia, akit ő egy egyiptomi embertől szült, Izrael fiai közé és összeveszett a táborban egy izraelita emberrel.
11 Now the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed it. He was then taken toMoses (his mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan).	11 Mivel eközben káromolta és szidalmazta a Nevet, elvitték Mózeshez (anyját Selomitnak hívták, s a Dán törzséből való Dibri lánya volt)
12 He was then put under guard until Yahweh's will should be made clear to them.	12 és tömlöcbe vetették, míg megtudják, mit parancsol az Úr.
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	13 Így szólt erre az Úr Mózeshez:
14 'Take the man who pronounced the curse outside the camp. Al those who heard him must then laytheir hands on his head, and the whole community must then stone him.	14 »Vidd ki a káromlót a táboron kívülre, s mindazok, akik hallották, tegyék rá a kezüket a fejére, és kövezze meg az egész nép.
15 Then say to the Israelites: "Anyone who curses his God will bear the consequences of his sin,	15 Izrael fiaihoz pedig így beszélj: Aki átkozza Istenét, viselje bűnét,
16 and anyone who blasphemes the name of Yahweh wil be put to death; the whole community wilstone him; be he alien or native-born, if he blasphemes the Name, he wil be put to death.	16 s aki káromolja az Úr nevét, halállal lakoljon: kövekkel verje agyon az egész közösség, akár bennszülött, akár jövevény, mert aki az Úr nevét káromolja, annak halállal kell lakolnia.
17 "Anyone who strikes down any other human being will be put to death.	17 Aki agyonüt valakit, halállal lakoljon.
18 "Anyone who strikes down an animal will make restitution for it: a life for a life.	18 Aki állatot üt agyon, adjon másikat helyette, azaz életet életért.
19 "Anyone who injures a neighbour shall receive the same in return,	19 Aki sebet ejt valamely embertársán: ahogy ő tett, úgy tegyenek vele is:
20 broken limb for broken limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As the injury inflicted, so will be the injurysuffered.	20 törést törésért, szemet szemért, fogat fogért adjon; amilyen sebet ejtett, olyat kelljen elviselnie neki is.
21 Whoever strikes down an animal wil make restitution for it, and whoever strikes down a human beingwil be put to death.	21 Aki állatot üt agyon, adjon másikat helyette, aki embert üt agyon, lakoljon.
22 The sentence you pass wil be the same, whether on native-born or on alien; for I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 Egyenlő ítélet legyen nálatok, akár jövevény, akár bennszülött vétkezik mert én, az Úr, vagyok a ti Istenetek.«
23 Moses having told the Israelites this, they took the man who had pronounced the curse out of thecamp and stoned him. And so the Israelites carried out Yahweh's order to Moses.	23 Szólt erre Mózes Izrael fiainak, és kivitték a káromlót a táboron kívülre, s kövekkel agyonverték. Úgy tettek Izrael fiai, ahogy az Úr megparancsolta Mózesnek.
