Leviticus 24

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:
2 'Order the Israelites to bring you crushed-olive oil for the lamp-stand, and keep a flame burning therecontinual y.	2 «Ordina agli Israeliti che ti portino olio puro di olive schiacciate per l’illuminazione, per tenere perennemente accesa la lampada.
3 Aaron wil keep it permanently in trim from evening to morning, outside the curtain of the Testimony inthe Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh. This is a perpetual decree for your descendants:	3 Aronne la disporrà nella tenda del convegno, fuori del velo che sta davanti alla Testimonianza, perché arda dalla sera al mattino davanti al Signore, sempre. Sarà per voi una legge perenne, di generazione in generazione.
4 Aaron wil keep the lamps permanently trimmed on the pure lamp-stand before Yahweh.	4 Egli disporrà le lampade sul candelabro d’oro puro, perché ardano sempre davanti al Signore.
5 'You will take wheaten flour and with it bake twelve loaves, each of two-tenths of an ephah.	5 Prenderai anche fior di farina e ne farai cuocere dodici focacce; ogni focaccia sarà di due decimi di efa.
6 You will then place them in two rows of six on the pure table before Yahweh	6 Le disporrai su due pile, sei per pila, sulla tavola d’oro puro davanti al Signore.
7 and put pure incense on each row, to make it food offered as a memorial, food burnt for Yahweh.	7 Porrai incenso puro sopra ogni pila, perché serva da memoriale per il pane, come sacrificio consumato dal fuoco in onore del Signore.
8 Every Sabbath they wil be arranged before Yahweh. The Israelites wil provide them as a permanentcovenant.	8 Ogni giorno di sabato lo si disporrà davanti al Signore perennemente da parte degli Israeliti: è un’alleanza eterna.
9 They wil belong to Aaron and his sons, who wil eat them inside the holy place since, for him, they arean especial y holy part of the food burnt for Yahweh. This is a permanent law.'	9 Sarà riservato ad Aronne e ai suoi figli: essi lo mangeranno in luogo santo, perché sarà per loro cosa santissima tra i sacrifici da bruciare in onore del Signore. È una legge perenne».
10 There was a man whose mother was an Israelite woman and whose father was an Egyptian. Hecame out of his house and, in the camp, surrounded by the Israelites, he began to quarrel with a man who wasan Israelite.	10 Ora il figlio di una donna israelita e di un Egiziano uscì in mezzo agli Israeliti, e nell’accampamento scoppiò una lite fra il figlio della donna e un Israelita.
11 Now the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed it. He was then taken toMoses (his mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan).	11 Il figlio della Israelita bestemmiò il Nome, imprecando; perciò fu condotto da Mosè. La madre di quel tale si chiamava Selomìt, figlia di Dibrì, della tribù di Dan.
12 He was then put under guard until Yahweh's will should be made clear to them.	12 Lo misero sotto sorveglianza, finché venisse una decisione dalla bocca del Signore.
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	13 Il Signore parlò a Mosè dicendo:
14 'Take the man who pronounced the curse outside the camp. Al those who heard him must then laytheir hands on his head, and the whole community must then stone him.	14 «Conduci quel bestemmiatore fuori dell’accampamento; quanti lo hanno udito posino le mani sul suo capo e tutta la comunità lo lapiderà.
15 Then say to the Israelites: "Anyone who curses his God will bear the consequences of his sin,	15 Parla agli Israeliti dicendo: “Chiunque maledirà il suo Dio, porterà il peso del suo peccato.
16 and anyone who blasphemes the name of Yahweh wil be put to death; the whole community wilstone him; be he alien or native-born, if he blasphemes the Name, he wil be put to death.	16 Chi bestemmia il nome del Signore dovrà essere messo a morte: tutta la comunità lo dovrà lapidare. Straniero o nativo della terra, se ha bestemmiato il Nome, sarà messo a morte.
17 "Anyone who strikes down any other human being will be put to death.	17 Chi percuote a morte qualsiasi uomo, dovrà essere messo a morte.
18 "Anyone who strikes down an animal will make restitution for it: a life for a life.	18 Chi percuote a morte un capo di bestiame, dovrà risarcirlo: vita per vita.
19 "Anyone who injures a neighbour shall receive the same in return,	19 Se uno farà una lesione al suo prossimo, si farà a lui come egli ha fatto all’altro:
20 broken limb for broken limb, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As the injury inflicted, so will be the injurysuffered.	20 frattura per frattura, occhio per occhio, dente per dente; gli si farà la stessa lesione che egli ha fatto all’altro.
21 Whoever strikes down an animal wil make restitution for it, and whoever strikes down a human beingwil be put to death.	21 Chi percuote a morte un capo di bestiame, dovrà risarcirlo; ma chi percuote a morte un uomo sarà messo a morte.
22 The sentence you pass wil be the same, whether on native-born or on alien; for I am Yahweh yourGod." '	22 Ci sarà per voi una sola legge per il forestiero e per il cittadino della terra; poiché io sono il Signore, vostro Dio”».
23 Moses having told the Israelites this, they took the man who had pronounced the curse out of thecamp and stoned him. And so the Israelites carried out Yahweh's order to Moses.	23 Mosè parlò agli Israeliti ed essi condussero quel bestemmiatore fuori dell’accampamento e lo lapidarono. Così gli Israeliti fecero come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.
