Isaiah 27

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 That day Yahweh wil punish, with his unyielding sword, massive and strong, Leviathan the fleeingserpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he wil kil that dragon that lives in the sea.	1 في ذلك اليوم يعاقب الرب بسيفه القاسي العظيم الشديد لوياثان الحية الهاربة. لوياثان الحية المتحوّية ويقتل التنين الذي في البحر
2 That day, sing of the splendid vineyard!	2 في ذلك اليوم غنوا للكرمة المشتهات
3 I, Yahweh, am its guardian, from time to time I water it; so that no harm befal it, I guard it night andday.	3 انا الرب حارسها. اسقيها كل لحظة. لئلا يوقع بها احرسها ليلا ونهارا.
4 -I do not have a wall. Who can reduce me to brambles and thorn-bushes? -I shal make war andtrample on it and at the same time burn it.	4 ليس لي غيظ. ليت عليّ الشوك والحسك في القتال فاهجم عليها واحرقها معا.
5 Or should they beg for my protection, let them make their peace with me, peace let them make withme.	5 او يتمسك بحصني فيصنع صلحا معي. صلحا يصنع معي
6 In days to come, Jacob will take root, Israel wil bud and blossom and the surface of the world be onevast harvest.	6 في المستقبل يتأصل يعقوب. يزهر ويفرع اسرائيل ويملأون وجه المسكونة ثمارا.
7 Has he struck him as he was struck by those who struck him? Has he murdered him as he wasmurdered by those who murdered him?	7 هل ضربه كضربة ضاربيه او قتل كقتل قتلاه.
8 By expel ing, by excluding him, you have executed a sentence, he has blown him away with a breathas rough as the east wind.	8 بزجر اذ طلّقتها خاصمتها. ازالها بريحه العاصفة في يوم الشرقية.
9 For that is how Jacob's guilt wil be forgiven, such wil be the result of renouncing his sin, when al thealtar-stones have been smashed to pieces like lumps of chalk, when the sacred poles and incense-altars standno longer.	9 لذلك بهذا يكفر اثم يعقوب. وهذا كل الثمر نزع خطيته في جعله كل حجارة المذبح كحجارة كلس مكسرة. لا تقوم السواري ولا الشمسات
10 For the fortified city is abandoned now, deserted, forsaken as a desert where calves browse, wherethey lie down, destroying its branches.	10 لان المدينة الحصينة متوحدة. المسكن مهجور ومتروك كالقفر. هناك يرعى العجل وهناك يربض ويتلف اغصانها.
11 When boughs go dry, they get burnt, women come and use them for firewood. Now, this is a peoplethat does not understand, and so its Maker wil not take pity on it, he who formed it wil not show it any mercy.	11 حينما تيبس اغصانها تتكسر فتأتي نساء وتوقدها. لانه ليس شعبا ذا فهم لذلك لا يرحمه صانعه ولا يترأف عليه جابله
12 When that day comes, Yahweh wil start his threshing from the course of the River to the Torrent ofEgypt, and you will be gathered one by one, Israelites!	12 ويكون في ذلك اليوم ان الرب يجني من مجرى النهر الى وادي مصر. وانتم تلقطون واحدا واحدا يا بني اسرائيل.
13 When that day comes, the great ram's-horn will be sounded, and those lost in Assyria will come, andthose banished to Egypt, and they wil worship Yahweh on the holy mountain, in Jerusalem.	13 ويكون في ذلك اليوم انه يضرب ببوق عظيم فياتي التائهون في ارض اشور والمنفيون في ارض مصر ويسجدون للرب في الجبل المقدس في اورشليم
