Isaiah 11

NEW JERUSALEM	Pattloch Bibel
1 A shoot wil spring from the stock of Jesse, a new shoot will grow from his roots.	1 Doch wächst hervor ein Reis aus Isais Stumpf, ein Schößling bricht aus seinen Wurzeln hervor.
2 On him wil rest the spirit of Yahweh, the spirit of wisdom and insight, the spirit of counsel and power,the spirit of knowledge and fear of Yahweh:	2 Auf ihn läßt sich nieder der Geist des Herrn, der Geist der Weisheit und des Verstandes, der Geist des Rates und der Stärke, der Geist der Erkenntnis und Furcht des Herrn.
3 his inspiration wil lie in fearing Yahweh. His judgement wil not be by appearances. his verdict notgiven on hearsay.	3 Erfüllen wird er ihn mit dem Geist der Furcht des Herrn. Er richtet nicht nach dem Augenschein und urteilt nicht nach dem Hörensagen.
4 He will judge the weak with integrity and give fair sentence for the humblest in the land. He will strikethe country with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips bring death to the wicked.	4 Er richtet vielmehr die Geringen gerecht, entscheidet richtig für die Armen im Land; den Gewalttätigen schlägt er mit dem Stab seines Mundes und tötet den Frevler mit dem Hauch seiner Lippen.
5 Uprightness wil be the belt around his waist, and constancy the belt about his hips.	5 Gerechtigkeit ist seiner Hüften Gurt und Treue seiner Lenden Umgürtung.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the panther lie down with the kid, calf, lion and fat-stock beast together,with a little boy to lead them.	6 Beim Lamm wird verweilen der Wolf, der Leopard lagert beim Böcklein. Kalb und Löwe mästen sich gemeinsam, ein kleiner Knabe kann sie hüten.
7 The cow and the bear will graze, their young wil lie down together. The lion wil eat hay like the ox.	7 Kuh und Bärin freunden sich an, ihre Jungen lagern beisammen; der Löwe frißt Stroh wie das Rind.
8 The infant wil play over the den of the adder; the baby wil put his hand into the viper's lair.	8 Der Säugling spielt am Schlupfloch der Otter, nach dem Jungen der Viper greift das Kind mit der Hand.
9 No hurt, no harm wil be done on all my holy mountain, for the country wil be full of knowledge ofYahweh as the waters cover the sea.	9 Nirgends handelt man bös und verderbt auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berg; denn angefüllt ist das Land mit Erkenntnis des Herrn, wie die Wasser das Meer bedecken.
10 That day, the root of Jesse, standing as a signal for the peoples, will be sought out by the nations andits home will be glorious.	10 Und geschehen wird es an jenem Tag: Nach Isais Wurzel, die dasteht als Banner der Völker, fragen die Heiden, und herrlich wird seine Ruhestatt sein.
11 When that day comes, the Lord wil raise his hand a second time to ransom the remnant of his people,those stil left, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, Cush and Elam, from Shinar, Hamath and the islands ofthe Sea.	11 Geschehen wird es an jenem Tag: Da erhebt der Herr noch einmal seine Hand, um loszukaufen den Rest seines Volkes, der übrigblieb von Assur und Ägypten, von Patros und Kusch, von Elam und Sinear, von Hamat und von den Inseln des Meeres.
12 He wil hoist a signal for the nations and assemble the outcasts of Israel; he wil gather the scatteredpeople of Judah from the four corners of the earth.	12 Er richtet den Völkern ein Banner auf und sammelt die Versprengten von Israel; die Zerstreuten von Juda holt er heim von den vier Enden der Erde.
13 Then Ephraim's jealousy wil cease and Judah's enemies be suppressed; Ephraim wil no longer bejealous of Judah nor Judah any longer hostile to Ephraim,	13 Verschwinden wird dann die Eifersucht Ephraims, die Bedränger Judas rottet man aus. Ephraim eifert nicht gegen Juda, Juda bedrängt Ephraim nicht.
14 but together they will swoop on the Philistines' back, to the west, and together pil age the people ofthe east. Edom and Moab wil be subject to their sway and the Ammonites wil obey them.	14 Sie stürmen zum Abhang der Philister am Meer, plündern die östlichen Stämme vereint. Nach Edom und Moab greift ihre Hand, Ammons Söhne sind ihnen gehorsam.
15 Then Yahweh wil dry up the gulf of the Sea of Egypt, he will raise his hand against the River with theheat of his breath. He wil divide it into seven streams for them to cross dry-shod.	15 Die Meereszunge Ägyptens legt trocken der Herr, über den Euphrat schwingt er die Hand durch seinen Gluthauch. In sieben Bäche zerschlägt er ihn und macht ihn betretbar in Schuhen.
16 And there wil be a highway for the remnant of his people for those stil left, from Assyria, as there wasfor Israel when he came out of Egypt.	16 So entsteht eine Straße für den Rest seines Volkes, der noch von Assur verblieb, wie es eine solche für Israel gab, als es heraufzog vom Lande Ägypten.
