Isaiah 11

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 A shoot wil spring from the stock of Jesse, a new shoot will grow from his roots.	1 Saldrá una rama del tronco de Jesé y un retoño brotará de sus raíces.
2 On him wil rest the spirit of Yahweh, the spirit of wisdom and insight, the spirit of counsel and power,the spirit of knowledge and fear of Yahweh:	2 Sobre él reposará el espíritu del Señor: espíritu de sabiduría y de inteligencia, espíritu de consejo y de fortaleza, espíritu de ciencia y de temor del Señor
3 his inspiration wil lie in fearing Yahweh. His judgement wil not be by appearances. his verdict notgiven on hearsay.	3 –y lo inspirará el temor del Señor–. El no juzgará según las apariencias ni decidirá por lo que oiga decir:
4 He will judge the weak with integrity and give fair sentence for the humblest in the land. He will strikethe country with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips bring death to the wicked.	4 juzgará con justicia a los débiles y decidirá con rectitud para los pobres de país; herirá al violento con la vara de su boca y con el soplo de sus labios hará morir al malvado.
5 Uprightness wil be the belt around his waist, and constancy the belt about his hips.	5 La justicia ceñirá su cintura y la fidelidad ceñirá sus caderas.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the panther lie down with the kid, calf, lion and fat-stock beast together,with a little boy to lead them.	6 El lobo habitará con el cordero y el leopardo se recostará junto al cabrito; el ternero y el cachorro de león pacerán juntos, y un niño pequeño los conducirá,
7 The cow and the bear will graze, their young wil lie down together. The lion wil eat hay like the ox.	7 la vaca y la osa vivirán en compañía, sus crías se recostarán juntas, y el león comerá paja lo mismo que el buey.
8 The infant wil play over the den of the adder; the baby wil put his hand into the viper's lair.	8 El niño de pecho jugará sobre el agujero de la cobra, y en la cueva de la víbora, meterá la mano el niño apenas destetado.
9 No hurt, no harm wil be done on all my holy mountain, for the country wil be full of knowledge ofYahweh as the waters cover the sea.	9 No se hará daño ni estragos en toda mi Montaña santa, porque el conocimiento del Señor llenará la tierra como las aguas cubren el mar.
10 That day, the root of Jesse, standing as a signal for the peoples, will be sought out by the nations andits home will be glorious.	10 Aquel día, la raíz de Jesé se erigirá como emblema para los pueblos: las naciones la buscarán y la gloria será su morada.
11 When that day comes, the Lord wil raise his hand a second time to ransom the remnant of his people,those stil left, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, Cush and Elam, from Shinar, Hamath and the islands ofthe Sea.	11 Aquel día, el Señor alzará otra vez su mano para rescatar al resto de su pueblo, a los que hayan quedado de Asiria y de Egipto. de Patrós de Cus, de Elam, de Senaar, de Jamat y de las costas del mar.
12 He wil hoist a signal for the nations and assemble the outcasts of Israel; he wil gather the scatteredpeople of Judah from the four corners of the earth.	12 El levantará un emblema para las naciones, reunirá a los deportados de Israel y congregará a los dispersos de Judá, desde los cuatro puntos cardinales.
13 Then Ephraim's jealousy wil cease and Judah's enemies be suppressed; Ephraim wil no longer bejealous of Judah nor Judah any longer hostile to Ephraim,	13 Cesarán los celos de Efraím y serán exterminados los opresores de Judá; Efraím no tendrá más celos de Judá y Judá no hostigará más a Efraím.
14 but together they will swoop on the Philistines' back, to the west, and together pil age the people ofthe east. Edom and Moab wil be subject to their sway and the Ammonites wil obey them.	14 Ellos se lanzarán a Occidente, hacia la cuesta de los filisteos. y juntos despojarán a los hijos de Oriente; extenderán su mano sobre Edom y Moab y los amonitas estarán bajo su dominio.
15 Then Yahweh wil dry up the gulf of the Sea of Egypt, he will raise his hand against the River with theheat of his breath. He wil divide it into seven streams for them to cross dry-shod.	15 El Señor secará el golfo del mar de Egipto y agitará su mano contra el Río: con su soplo abrasador, lo dividirá en siete brazos, y hará que se lo pueda pasar en sandalias,
16 And there wil be a highway for the remnant of his people for those stil left, from Assyria, as there wasfor Israel when he came out of Egypt.	16 Habrá un camino para el resto de su pueblo. para lo que haya quedado de Asiria, como lo hubo para Israel cuando subió del país de Egipto.
