Isaiah 11

1 A shoot wil spring from the stock of Jesse, a new shoot will grow from his roots.	1 Isklijat će mladica iz panja Jišajeva, izdanak će izbit’ iz njegova korijena.
2 On him wil rest the spirit of Yahweh, the spirit of wisdom and insight, the spirit of counsel and power,the spirit of knowledge and fear of Yahweh:	2 Na njemu će duh Jahvin počivat’, duh mudrosti i umnosti, duh savjeta i jakosti, duh znanja i straha Gospodnjeg.
3 his inspiration wil lie in fearing Yahweh. His judgement wil not be by appearances. his verdict notgiven on hearsay.	3 Prodahnut će ga strah Gospodnji: neće suditi po viđenju, presuđivati po čuvenju,
4 He will judge the weak with integrity and give fair sentence for the humblest in the land. He will strikethe country with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips bring death to the wicked.	4 već po pravdi će sudit’ ubogima i sud prav izricat’ bijednima na zemlji. Šibom riječi svoje ošinut će silnika, a dahom iz usta ubit’ bezbožnika.
5 Uprightness wil be the belt around his waist, and constancy the belt about his hips.	5 On će pravdom opasati bedra, a vjernošću bokove.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the panther lie down with the kid, calf, lion and fat-stock beast together,with a little boy to lead them.	6 Vuk će prebivati s jagnjetom, ris ležati s kozlićem, tele i lavić zajedno će pásti, a djetešce njih će vodit’.
7 The cow and the bear will graze, their young wil lie down together. The lion wil eat hay like the ox.	7 Krava i medvjedica zajedno će pásti, a mladunčad njihova skupa će ležati, lav će jesti slamu k’o govedo.
8 The infant wil play over the den of the adder; the baby wil put his hand into the viper's lair.	8 Nad rupom gujinom igrat će se dojenče, sisanče će ruku zavlačiti u leglo zmijinje.
9 No hurt, no harm wil be done on all my holy mountain, for the country wil be full of knowledge ofYahweh as the waters cover the sea.	9 Zlo se više neće činiti, neće se pustošiti na svoj svetoj gori mojoj: zemlja će se ispuniti spoznajom Jahvinom kao što se vodom pune mora.
10 That day, the root of Jesse, standing as a signal for the peoples, will be sought out by the nations andits home will be glorious.	10 U dan onaj: Jišajev izdanak, dignut kao stijeg narodima, puci će željno tražiti. I prebivalište njegovo bit će slavno.
11 When that day comes, the Lord wil raise his hand a second time to ransom the remnant of his people,those stil left, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, Cush and Elam, from Shinar, Hamath and the islands ofthe Sea.	11 U dan onaj: Jahve će drugi put ruku pružiti da otkupi ostatak svoga naroda, one što ostanu iz Asira i iz Egipta, iz Patrosa, Kuša i Elama, iz Šineara, Hamata i s morskih otoka.
12 He wil hoist a signal for the nations and assemble the outcasts of Israel; he wil gather the scatteredpeople of Judah from the four corners of the earth.	12 Podignut će stijeg narodima, sabrat će Izraelu prognanike i skupiti Judi raspršene sa sva četiri kraja zemlje.
13 Then Ephraim's jealousy wil cease and Judah's enemies be suppressed; Ephraim wil no longer bejealous of Judah nor Judah any longer hostile to Ephraim,	13 Ljubomor će nestat’ Efrajimov, bit će istrijebljeni dušmani Judini; Efrajim neće više zavidjeti Judi, a Juda neće biti neprijatelj Efrajimu.
14 but together they will swoop on the Philistines' back, to the west, and together pil age the people ofthe east. Edom and Moab wil be subject to their sway and the Ammonites wil obey them.	14 Filistejcima na zapadu za vrat će sjesti, zajedno će plijeniti sinove Istoka; ruku će svoju pružit’ na Edom i Moab, bit će im pokorni sinovi Amonovi.
15 Then Yahweh wil dry up the gulf of the Sea of Egypt, he will raise his hand against the River with theheat of his breath. He wil divide it into seven streams for them to cross dry-shod.	15 Jahve će isušit’ zaljev mora egipatskog, zamahnut će rukom protiv Eufrata; snagom daha razbit će ga na sedam potoka da se u obući može prelaziti:
16 And there wil be a highway for the remnant of his people for those stil left, from Assyria, as there wasfor Israel when he came out of Egypt.	16 i bit će cesta ostatku njegova naroda, koji preživio bude iz Asira, kao što bijaše Izraelcima kad iziđoše iz zemlje egipatske.
