Isaiah 11

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 A shoot wil spring from the stock of Jesse, a new shoot will grow from his roots.	1 - E uscirà un rampollo dal ceppo di Jesse, e un germoglio spunterà dalla sua radice.
2 On him wil rest the spirit of Yahweh, the spirit of wisdom and insight, the spirit of counsel and power,the spirit of knowledge and fear of Yahweh:	2 E si poserà su di lui lo spirito del Signore, spirito di sapienza e d'intelletto, spirito di consiglio e di fortezza, spirito di scienza e di pietà,
3 his inspiration wil lie in fearing Yahweh. His judgement wil not be by appearances. his verdict notgiven on hearsay.	3 e lo spirito del timore del Signore lo riempirà. Egli non giudicherà per veduta degli occhi, nè per udita degli orecchi, sentenzierà:
4 He will judge the weak with integrity and give fair sentence for the humblest in the land. He will strikethe country with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips bring death to the wicked.	4 ma giudicherà con giustizia i deboli, e sentenzierà con rettitudine in favore dei poveri della terra: percuoterà la terra colla verga della sua bocca, e collo spirito delle sue labbra farà morire l'empio.
5 Uprightness wil be the belt around his waist, and constancy the belt about his hips.	5 E la giustizia sarà cingolo dei suoi lombi, e la fede cintura dei suoi fianchi.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the panther lie down with the kid, calf, lion and fat-stock beast together,with a little boy to lead them.	6 E il lupo farà dimora coll'agnelloe il leopardo s'accovaccerà col capretto, e il vitello e il leone e la pecora staranno assieme e un piccolo fanciullo li condurrà.
7 The cow and the bear will graze, their young wil lie down together. The lion wil eat hay like the ox.	7 Il vitello coll'orso pascoleranno; si sdraieranno assieme i loro nati, e il leone mangerà paglia come il bue.
8 The infant wil play over the den of the adder; the baby wil put his hand into the viper's lair.	8 E il bambino da latte si trastullerà sopra il covo dell'aspide, e nella buca del basilisco introdurrà la mano un bambino appena slattato.
9 No hurt, no harm wil be done on all my holy mountain, for the country wil be full of knowledge ofYahweh as the waters cover the sea.	9 Non nuoceranno e non uccideranno più su tutto il mio santo monte, perchè la terra è ripiena della scienza del Signore, come il mare, delle acque che lo ricoprono.
10 That day, the root of Jesse, standing as a signal for the peoples, will be sought out by the nations andits home will be glorious.	10 In quel giorno la stirpe di Jesse, che sta per insegna ai popoli, essa le nazioni ricercheranno, e sarà il suo sepolcro glorioso.
11 When that day comes, the Lord wil raise his hand a second time to ransom the remnant of his people,those stil left, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, Cush and Elam, from Shinar, Hamath and the islands ofthe Sea.	11 E avverrà in quel giorno, che il Signore rimetterà mano una seconda volta a riconquistare il rimanente del suo popolo che sarà scampato dagli Assiri, e dall'Egitto, e da Petros, e dall'Etiopia e dall'Elam, e da Sennaar, e da Emat e dalle isole del mare.
12 He wil hoist a signal for the nations and assemble the outcasts of Israel; he wil gather the scatteredpeople of Judah from the four corners of the earth.	12 E alzerà un'insegna alle nazioni, e riunirà i profughi d'Israele, e raccoglierà i dispersi di Giuda dai quattro angoli della terra.
13 Then Ephraim's jealousy wil cease and Judah's enemies be suppressed; Ephraim wil no longer bejealous of Judah nor Judah any longer hostile to Ephraim,	13 E la gelosia di Efraim sarà tolta, e saranno troncate le ostilità di Giuda: Efraim non sarà più geloso di Giuda, e Giuda non combatterà più Efraim.
14 but together they will swoop on the Philistines' back, to the west, and together pil age the people ofthe east. Edom and Moab wil be subject to their sway and the Ammonites wil obey them.	14 E piomberanno addosso ai Filistei dal mare e insieme deprederanno i figli dell'Oriente, Edom e Moab staranno ai loro cenni, e i figli di Ammon ai loro ordini obbediranno.
15 Then Yahweh wil dry up the gulf of the Sea of Egypt, he will raise his hand against the River with theheat of his breath. He wil divide it into seven streams for them to cross dry-shod.	15 E il Signore farà scomparire la lingua del mare d'Egitto, e nel suo possente soffio, alzerà la sua mano contro il fiume e lo percuoterà nei suoi sette rami, sì da transitarvi colle scarpe ai piedi.
16 And there wil be a highway for the remnant of his people for those stil left, from Assyria, as there wasfor Israel when he came out of Egypt.	16 E vi sarà una strada al rimanente del mio popolo che sarà rimasto salvo dagli Assiri, come fu ad Israele nel giorno che salì dall'Egitto.
