Isaiah 11

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 A shoot wil spring from the stock of Jesse, a new shoot will grow from his roots.	1 Un germoglio spunterà dalla radice di Iesse, un fiore verrà su da questa radice;
2 On him wil rest the spirit of Yahweh, the spirit of wisdom and insight, the spirit of counsel and power,the spirit of knowledge and fear of Yahweh:	2 e sopra di lui si riposerà lo spirito del Signore, spirito di sapienza e d'intelletto, spirito di consiglio e di fortezza, spirito di scienza e di pietà;
3 his inspiration wil lie in fearing Yahweh. His judgement wil not be by appearances. his verdict notgiven on hearsay.	3 lo riempirà lo spirito del timor di Dio. Egli non giudicherà secondo quello che apparisce agli occhi, non condannerà secondo quello che si sente cogli orecchi;
4 He will judge the weak with integrity and give fair sentence for the humblest in the land. He will strikethe country with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips bring death to the wicked.	4 ma giudicherà con giustizia i poveri, è prenderà le giuste difese degli umili della terra; percuoterà la terra colla verga della sua bocca, col soffio delle sue labbra farà morire l'empio.
5 Uprightness wil be the belt around his waist, and constancy the belt about his hips.	5 La giustizia cingerà i suoi fianchi, la fede fascerà il suo dorso.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the panther lie down with the kid, calf, lion and fat-stock beast together,with a little boy to lead them.	6 Il lupo starà insieme coll'agnello, il leopardo s'accovaccerà insieme col capretto; il vitello, il leone e la pecorella staranno assieme, e farà loro da pastore un piccol fanciullo.
7 The cow and the bear will graze, their young wil lie down together. The lion wil eat hay like the ox.	7 Il vitello e l'orso andranno ai medesimi pascoli, i loro piccoli riposeranno insieme. Il leone mungerà paglia come il bove.
8 The infant wil play over the den of the adder; the baby wil put his hand into the viper's lair.	8 Il fanciullo di latte scherzerà alla buca dell'aspide, nella tana del basilisco metterà la mano appena divezzato.
9 No hurt, no harm wil be done on all my holy mountain, for the country wil be full of knowledge ofYahweh as the waters cover the sea.	9 Non vi sarà più male, nè uccisioni, in tutto il mio monte santo, perchè la scienza del Signore ha riempita la terra, come le acque il fondo del mare.
10 That day, the root of Jesse, standing as a signal for the peoples, will be sought out by the nations andits home will be glorious.	10 In quel giorno, il germoglio della radice di Iesse, posto qual segno alle nazioni, sarà invocato dai popoli, e il suo sepolcro sarà glorioso.
11 When that day comes, the Lord wil raise his hand a second time to ransom the remnant of his people,those stil left, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, Cush and Elam, from Shinar, Hamath and the islands ofthe Sea.	11 E in quel giorno il Signore stenderà di nuovo la sua mano, per riacquistare gli avanzi del suo popolo, che saranno scampati dall'Assiria, dall'Egitto, da Petros, dall'Etiopia, da Elam, da Sennaar, da Emat e dalle isole del mare.
12 He wil hoist a signal for the nations and assemble the outcasts of Israel; he wil gather the scatteredpeople of Judah from the four corners of the earth.	12 Egli, alzata una bandiera alle nazioni, riunirà insieme i profughi d'Israele, i dispersi di Giuda li raccoglierà dai quattro punti della terra.
13 Then Ephraim's jealousy wil cease and Judah's enemies be suppressed; Ephraim wil no longer bejealous of Judah nor Judah any longer hostile to Ephraim,	13 In quel giorno sarà tolta la gelosia di Efraim, e periranno i nemici di Giuda: Efraim non sarà più geloso di Giuda, e Giuda non combatterà più contro Efraim.
14 but together they will swoop on the Philistines' back, to the west, and together pil age the people ofthe east. Edom and Moab wil be subject to their sway and the Ammonites wil obey them.	14 E voleranno addosso ai Filistei dalla parte del mare, e insieme deprederanno i figli dell'Oriente. L'Idumea e Moab staranno ai cenni delle loro mani, e i figli di Ammon obbediranno.
15 Then Yahweh wil dry up the gulf of the Sea of Egypt, he will raise his hand against the River with theheat of his breath. He wil divide it into seven streams for them to cross dry-shod.	15 E il Signore farà sparire la lingua di mare dell'Egitto, ed alzerà la sua mano sopra il fiume, nella potenza del suo soffio, lo butterà nei suoi sette rivi, in modo che lo passino senza scalzarsi.
16 And there wil be a highway for the remnant of his people for those stil left, from Assyria, as there wasfor Israel when he came out of Egypt.	16 E vi sarà una strada pel resto del mio popolo scampato dagli Assiri, come vi fu per Israele nel giorno in cui sali dalla terra d'Egitto.
