Psalms 98

NEW JERUSALEM	NOVA VULGATA
1 [Psalm] Sing a new song to Yahweh, for he has performed wonders, his saving power is in his righthand and his holy arm.	1 Psalmus. Cantate Domino canticum novum, quia mirabilia fecit. Salvavit sibi dextera eius, et brachium sanctum eius.
2 Yahweh has made known his saving power, revealed his saving justice for the nations to see,	2 Notum fecit Dominus salutare suum, in conspectu gentium revelavit iustitiam suam.
3 mindful of his faithful love and his constancy to the House of Israel. The whole wide world has seenthe saving power of our God.	3 Recordatus est misericordiae suae et veritatis suae domui Israel. Viderunt omnes termini terrae salutare Dei nostri.
4 Acclaim Yahweh, all the earth, burst into shouts of joy!	4 Iubilate Deo, omnis terra; erumpite, exsultate et psallite.
5 Play to Yahweh on the harp, to the sound of instruments;	5 Psallite Domino in cithara, in cithara et voce psalmi;
6 to the sound of trumpet and horn, acclaim the presence of the King.	6 in tubis ductilibus et voce tubae corneae, iubilate in conspectu regis Domini.
7 Let the sea thunder, and al that it holds, the world and al who live in it.	7 Sonet mare et plenitudo eius, orbis terrarum et qui habitant in eo.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands, and the mountains shout for joy together,	8 Flumina plaudent manu, simul montes exsultabunt
9 at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming to judge the earth; he wil judge the world with saving justiceand the nations with fairness.	9 a conspectu Domini, quoniam venit iudicare terram. Iudicabit orbem terrarum in iustitia et populos in aequitate.
