Psalms 98

NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 [Psalm] Sing a new song to Yahweh, for he has performed wonders, his saving power is in his righthand and his holy arm.
2 Yahweh has made known his saving power, revealed his saving justice for the nations to see,	2 Yahvé a fait connaître son salut, aux yeux des païens révélé sa justice,
3 mindful of his faithful love and his constancy to the House of Israel. The whole wide world has seenthe saving power of our God.	3 se rappelant son amour et sa fidélité pour la maison d'Israël. Tous les lointains de la terre ont vu lesalut de notre Dieu.
4 Acclaim Yahweh, all the earth, burst into shouts of joy!	4 Acclamez Yahvé, toute la terre, éclatez en cris de joie!
5 Play to Yahweh on the harp, to the sound of instruments;	5 Jouez pour Yahvé sur la harpe, au son des instruments;
6 to the sound of trumpet and horn, acclaim the presence of the King.	6 au son de la trompette et du cor acclamez à la face du roi Yahvé.
7 Let the sea thunder, and al that it holds, the world and al who live in it.	7 Gronde la mer et sa plénitude, le monde et son peuplement;
8 Let the rivers clap their hands, and the mountains shout for joy together,	8 que tous les fleuves battent des mains et les montagnes crient de joie,
9 at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming to judge the earth; he wil judge the world with saving justiceand the nations with fairness.	9 à la face de Yahvé, car il vient pour juger la terre, il jugera le monde en justice et les peuples endroiture.
