2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.	2 Quanto sono amabili le tue dimore,Signore degli eserciti!
3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.	3 L’anima mia anelae desidera gli atri del Signore.Il mio cuore e la mia carneesultano nel Dio vivente.
4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause	4 Anche il passero trova una casae la rondine il nidodove porre i suoi piccoli,presso i tuoi altari,Signore degli eserciti,mio re e mio Dio.
5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.	5 Beato chi abita nella tua casa:senza fine canta le tue lodi.
6 As they pass through the Val ey of the Balsam, they make there a water-hole, and -- a further blessing-- early rain fil s it.	6 Beato l’uomo che trova in te il suo rifugioe ha le tue vie nel suo cuore.
7 They make their way from height to height, God shows himself to them in Zion.	7 Passando per la valle del piantola cambia in una sorgente;anche la prima pioggial’ammanta di benedizioni.
8 Yahweh, God Sabaoth, hear my prayer, listen, God of Jacob.	8 Cresce lungo il cammino il suo vigore,finché compare davanti a Dio in Sion.
9 God, our shield, look, and see the face of your anointed.	9 Signore, Dio degli eserciti, ascolta la mia preghiera,porgi l’orecchio, Dio di Giacobbe.
10 Better one day in your courts than a thousand at my own devices, to stand on the threshold of God'shouse than to live in the tents of the wicked.	10 Guarda, o Dio, colui che è il nostro scudo,guarda il volto del tuo consacrato.
11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.	11 Sì, è meglio un giorno nei tuoi atriche mille nella mia casa;stare sulla soglia della casa del mio Dioè meglio che abitare nelle tende dei malvagi.
12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.	12 Perché sole e scudo è il Signore Dio;il Signore concede grazia e gloria,non rifiuta il benea chi cammina nell’integrità.
	13 Signore degli eserciti,beato l’uomo che in te confida.
