2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.	2 L’anima mia brama i cortili del Signore, e vien meno; Il mio cuore e la mia carne sclamano all’Iddio vivente.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.	3 Anche la passera si trova stanza, E la rondinella nido, ove posino i lor figli Presso a’ tuoi altari, o Signor degli eserciti, Re mio, e Dio mio.
4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause	4 Beati coloro che abitano nella tua Casa, E ti lodano del continuo. Sela.
5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.	5 Beato l’uomo che ha forza in te; E coloro che hanno le tue vie nel cuore;
6 As they pass through the Val ey of the Balsam, they make there a water-hole, and -- a further blessing-- early rain fil s it.	6 I quali, passando per la valle de’ gelsi, La riducono in fonti, Ed anche in pozze che la pioggia empie.

10 Better one day in your courts than a thousand at my own devices, to stand on the threshold of God'shouse than to live in the tents of the wicked.	10 Perciocchè un giorno ne’ tuoi cortili val meglio che mille altrove; Io eleggerei anzi di essere alla soglia della Casa del mio Dio, Che di abitare ne’ tabernacoli di empietà.
11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.	11 Perciocchè il Signore Iddio è sole e scudo; Il Signore darà grazia e gloria; Egli non divieterà il bene a quelli che camminano in integrità.
12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.	12 O Signor degli eserciti, Beato l’uomo che si confida in te
