2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.	2 Hai benedetto, o Signore, la tua terra, hai tolto via la schiavitù di Giacobbe.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.	3 Hai rimesso l'iniquità del tuo popolo, hai ricoperto tutti i loro peccati.
4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause	4 Hai calmato ogni tua ira, ti sei rimosso dal furor del tuo sdegno.
5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.	5 Rialzaci, o Dio della nostra salvezza, e allontana l'ira tua da noi.
6 As they pass through the Val ey of the Balsam, they make there a water-hole, and -- a further blessing-- early rain fil s it.	6 Sarai tu adirato con noi in eterno? prolungherai l'ira tua di generazione in generazione?
7 They make their way from height to height, God shows himself to them in Zion.	7 [No], o Dio, [ma] tornerai a vivificarci, e il tuo popolo s'allieterà in te.
8 Yahweh, God Sabaoth, hear my prayer, listen, God of Jacob.	8 Mostraci, o Signore, la tua clemenza, e la tua salvezza concedi a noi.
9 God, our shield, look, and see the face of your anointed.	9 Ascolterò ciò che parla in me il Signore Iddio: perchè parla di pace al suo popolo e ai suoi santi e a coloro che rientrano in se stessi.
10 Better one day in your courts than a thousand at my own devices, to stand on the threshold of God'shouse than to live in the tents of the wicked.	10 Per certo è vicina a quei che lo temono la sua salvezza. Sicchè abiti [di nuovo] la gloria [di Dio] nella nostra terra.
11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.	11 La clemenza e la fedeltà si vanno incontro, la giustizia e la pace si baciano.
12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.	12 La fedeltà spunta su dalla terra, e la giustizia guarda giù dal cielo.
	13 Sì, il Signore largirà la bontàe la terra nostra produrrà il suo frutto.
	14 La giustizia davanti a lui camminerà, e guiderà per la via i suoi passi.
