2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.	2 Milyen kedvesek a te hajlékaid, Seregek Ura!
3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.	3 Sóvárogva vágyakozik lelkem az Úr udvaraiba. Szívem és testem ujjong az élő Isten után.
4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause	4 Hiszen a veréb házat talál magának, a gerlice fészket, ahová fiait helyezze: a te oltáraidnál, seregek Ura, én királyom és én Istenem!
5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.	5 Milyen boldogok, Uram, akik házadban lakhatnak: magasztalhatnak téged örökkön örökké!
6 As they pass through the Val ey of the Balsam, they make there a water-hole, and -- a further blessing-- early rain fil s it.	6 Boldog az az ember, akit te segítesz, akinek szíve zarándokútra készül.
7 They make their way from height to height, God shows himself to them in Zion.	7 Átkelnek a kiaszott völgyön és forrássá teszik azt, és a korai eső is áldásodba öltözteti.

11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.	11 Mert jobb egy nap a te udvaraidban, mint más helyen ezer. Inkább akarok a küszöbön lenni Istenem házában, mint a gonoszok sátraiban lakni.
12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.	12 Mert nap és védőpajzs az Úr Isten, kegyelmet és dicsőséget ad az Úr,
	13 nem vonja meg javait azoktól, akik ártatlanságban járnak. Seregek Ura, boldog az az ember, aki tebenned bízik!
