1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Of David In a quiet voice] Divine as you are, do you trulygive upright verdicts? do you judge fairly the children of Adam?	1 Del maestro de coro. «No destruyas». De David. A media voz.
2 No! You devise injustice in your hearts, and with your hands you administer tyranny on the earth.	2 ¿De veras, dioses, pronunciáis justicia, juzgáis según derecho a los hijos de Adán?
3 Since the womb they have gone astray, the wicked, on the wrong path since their birth, with theirunjust verdicts.	3 No. que de corazón cometéis injusticias, con vuestras manos pesáis la violencia en la tierra.
4 They are poisonous as any snake, deaf as an adder that blocks its ears	4 Torcidos están desde el seno los impíos, extraviados desde el vientre los que dicen mentira;
5 so as not to hear the magician's music, however skilful his spel s.	5 tienen veneno como veneno de serpiente, como el de un áspid sordo que se tapa el oído,
6 God, break the teeth in their mouths, snap off the fangs of these young lions, Yahweh.	6 que no oye la voz de los encantadores, del mago experto en el encanto.

9 Before they sprout thorns like the bramble, green or burnt up, may retribution whirl them away.	9 como limaco que marcha deshaciéndose, como aborto de mujer que no contempla el sol!
10 The upright wil rejoice to see vengeance done, and wil bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.	10 ¡Antes que espinas echen, como la zarza, verde o quemada, los arrebate el torbellino!
11 'So', people wil say, 'the upright does have a reward; there is a God to dispense justice on earth.'	11 Se alegrará el justo de haber visto la venganza, sus pies bañará en la sangre del impío;
	12 y se dirá: «Sí, hay un fruto para el justo; sí, hay un Dios que juzga en la tierra».
