1 [Song Psalm Of the sons of Korah] Great is Yahweh and most worthy of praise in the city of our God,the holy mountain,	1 Inno. Salmo. Dei figli di Core.
2 towering in beauty, the joy of the whole world: Mount Zion in the heart of the north, the settlement ofthe great king;	2 Grande è il Signore e degno di ogni lode nella città del nostro Dio. Il suo santo monte,
3 God himself among its palaces has proved himself its bulwark.	3 che si eleva nella sua bellezza, è la gioia di tutta la terra: il monte Sion, l'arcana dimora del nord, la città del gran re.
4 For look, kings made al iance, together they advanced;	4 Dio nei suoi torrioni qual rocca si è dimostrato.

9 We reflect on your faithful love, God, in your temple!	9 Proprio come udimmo, così abbiamo visto, nella città del Signore delle schiere, nella città del nostro Dio, che Dio rende salda in eterno.
10 Both your name and your praise, God, are over the whole wide world. Your right hand is ful of savingjustice,	10 Celebriamo, o Dio, la tua misericordia nell'interno del tuo tempio.
11 Mount Zion rejoices, the daughters of Judah delight because of your saving justice.	11 Come il tuo nome, o Dio, così giunge la tua lode su tutta la terra: piena di giustizia è la tua destra.
12 Go round Zion, walk right through her, count her bastions,	12 Si rallegri il monte Sion, esultino le figlie di Giuda a causa dei tuoi giudizi.
13 admire her walls, examine her palaces, to tel future generations	13 Girate intorno a Sion e andatele attorno: enumerate le sue torri;
14 that such is God; our God for ever and ever, he is our guide!	14 osservate le sue mura, passate in rassegna i suoi torrioni, affinché possiate riferire a quelli della generazione ventura
