1 [Song Psalm Of the sons of Korah] Great is Yahweh and most worthy of praise in the city of our God,the holy mountain,	1 שיר מזמור לבני קרח גדול יהוה ומהלל מאד בעיר אלהינו הר קדשו
2 towering in beauty, the joy of the whole world: Mount Zion in the heart of the north, the settlement ofthe great king;	2 יפה נוף משוש כל הארץ הר ציון ירכתי צפון קרית מלך רב
3 God himself among its palaces has proved himself its bulwark.	3 אלהים בארמנותיה נודע למשגב
4 For look, kings made al iance, together they advanced;	4 כי הנה המלכים נועדו עברו יחדו
5 without a second glance, when they saw, they panicked and fled away.	5 המה ראו כן תמהו נבהלו נחפזו
6 Trembling seized them on the spot, pains like those of a woman in labour;	6 רעדה אחזתם שם חיל כיולדה
7 it was the east wind, that wrecker of ships from Tarshish.	7 ברוח קדים תשבר אניות תרשיש
8 What we had heard we saw for ourselves in the city of our God, in the city of Yahweh Sabaoth, whichGod has established for ever.Pause	8 כאשר שמענו כן ראינו בעיר יהוה צבאות בעיר אלהינו אלהים יכוננה עד עולם סלה
9 We reflect on your faithful love, God, in your temple!	9 דמינו אלהים חסדך בקרב היכלך
10 Both your name and your praise, God, are over the whole wide world. Your right hand is ful of savingjustice,	10 כשמך אלהים כן תהלתך על קצוי ארץ צדק מלאה ימינך
11 Mount Zion rejoices, the daughters of Judah delight because of your saving justice.	11 ישמח הר ציון תגלנה בנות יהודה למען משפטיך
12 Go round Zion, walk right through her, count her bastions,	12 סבו ציון והקיפוה ספרו מגדליה
13 admire her walls, examine her palaces, to tel future generations	13 שיתו לבכם לחילה פסגו ארמנותיה למען תספרו לדור אחרון
14 that such is God; our God for ever and ever, he is our guide!	14 כי זה אלהים אלהינו עולם ועד הוא ינהגנו על מות
