NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Song Psalm Of the sons of Korah] Great is Yahweh and most worthy of praise in the city of our God,the holy mountain,	1 Canto. Salmo de los hijos de Coré.
2 towering in beauty, the joy of the whole world: Mount Zion in the heart of the north, the settlement ofthe great king;	2 El Señor es grande y digno de alabanza, en la Ciudad de nuestro Dios.
3 God himself among its palaces has proved himself its bulwark.	3 Su Santa Montaña, la altura más hermosa, es la alegría de toda la tierra. La Montaña de Sión, la Morada de Dios, es la Ciudad del gran Rey:
4 For look, kings made al iance, together they advanced;	4 Dios se manifestó como un baluarte en medio de sus palacios.
5 without a second glance, when they saw, they panicked and fled away.	5 Porque los reyes se aliaron y avanzaron unidos contra ella;
6 Trembling seized them on the spot, pains like those of a woman in labour;	6 pero apenas la vieron quedaron pasmados y huyeron despavoridos.
7 it was the east wind, that wrecker of ships from Tarshish.	7 Allí se apoderó de ellos el terror y dolores como los del parto,
8 What we had heard we saw for ourselves in the city of our God, in the city of Yahweh Sabaoth, whichGod has established for ever.Pause	8 como cuando el viento del desierto destroza las naves de Tarsis.
9 We reflect on your faithful love, God, in your temple!	9 Hemos visto lo que habíamos oído en la Ciudad de nuestro Dios, en la Ciudad del Señor de los ejércitos, que él afianzó para siempre.
10 Both your name and your praise, God, are over the whole wide world. Your right hand is ful of savingjustice,	10 Nosotros evocamos tu misericordia en medio de tu Templo, oh Dios.
11 Mount Zion rejoices, the daughters of Judah delight because of your saving justice.	11 Tu alabanza, lo mismo que tu nombre, llega hasta los confines de la tierra. Tu derecha está llena de justicia:
12 Go round Zion, walk right through her, count her bastions,	12 se alegra la Montaña de Sión; las ciudades de Judá se regocijan a causa de tus juicios.
13 admire her walls, examine her palaces, to tel future generations	13 Den una vuelta alrededor de Sión y cuenten sus torreones;
14 that such is God; our God for ever and ever, he is our guide!	14 observen sus baluartes y miren sus palacios, para que puedan decir a la próxima generación:
	15 «Así es Dios, nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos, aquel que nos conduce».
