5 Yahweh's voice shatters cedars, Yahweh shatters cedars of Lebanon,	5 Voce del Signore che schianta cedri: schianta il Signore i cedri del Libano;
6 he makes Lebanon skip like a calf, Sirion like a young wild ox.	6 fa balzare il Libano come un vitello, il Sirion come un giovane bufalo.
7 Yahweh's voice carves out lightning-shafts,	7 Voce del Signore che forgia lingue di fuoco.
8 Yahweh's voice convulses the desert, Yahweh convulses the desert of Kadesh,	8 Voce del Signore che sconvolge il deserto, sconvolge il Signore il deserto di Kades.
9 Yahweh's voice convulses terebinths, strips forests bare. In his palace al cry, 'Glory!'	9 Voce del Signore che scuote le querce e le selve denuda... Nel suo tempio ognuno dice: "Gloria!".
