NEW JERUSALEM	NOVA VULGATA
1 [Psalm Of David] Give Yahweh his due, sons of God, give Yahweh his due of glory and strength,	1 Psalmus. David. Afferte Domino, filii Dei, afferte Domino gloriam et potentiam,
2 give Yahweh the glory due to his name, adore Yahweh in the splendour of holiness.	2 afferte Domino gloriam nominis eius, adorate Dominum in splendore sancto.
3 Yahweh's voice over the waters, the God of glory thunders; Yahweh over countless waters,	3 Vox Domini super aquas; Deus maiestatis intonuit, Dominus super aquas multas.
4 Yahweh's voice in power, Yahweh's voice in splendour;	4 Vox Domini in virtute, vox Domini in magnificentia.
5 Yahweh's voice shatters cedars, Yahweh shatters cedars of Lebanon,	5 Vox Domini confringentis cedros; et confringet Dominus cedros Libani.
6 he makes Lebanon skip like a calf, Sirion like a young wild ox.	6 Et saltare faciet, tamquam vitulum, Libanum, et Sarion, quemadmodum filium unicornium. -
7 Yahweh's voice carves out lightning-shafts,	7 Vox Domini intercidentis flammam ignis,
8 Yahweh's voice convulses the desert, Yahweh convulses the desert of Kadesh,	8 vox Domini concutientis desertum, et concutiet Dominus desertum Cades.
9 Yahweh's voice convulses terebinths, strips forests bare. In his palace al cry, 'Glory!'	9 Vox Domini properantis partum cervarum, et denudabit condensa; et in templo eius omnes dicent gloriam.
10 Yahweh was enthroned for the flood, Yahweh is enthroned as king for ever.	10 Dominus super diluvium habitat, et sedebit Dominus rex in aeternum.
11 Yahweh will give strength to his people, Yahweh blesses his people with peace.	11 Dominus virtutem populo suo dabit, Dominus benedicet populo suo in pace.
