1 [Of David] Yahweh is my light and my salvation, whom should I fear? Yahweh is the fortress of my life,whom should I dread?	1 לדוד יהוה אורי וישעי ממי אירא יהוה מעוז חיי ממי אפחד
2 When the wicked advance against me to eat me up, they, my opponents, my enemies, are the oneswho stumble and fal .	2 בקרב עלי מרעים לאכל את בשרי צרי ואיבי לי המה כשלו ונפלו
3 Though an army pitch camp against me, my heart wil not fear, though war break out against me, mytrust wil never be shaken.	3 אם תחנה עלי מחנה לא יירא לבי אם תקום עלי מלחמה בזאת אני בוטח
4 One thing I ask of Yahweh, one thing I seek: to dwel in Yahweh's house all the days of my life, toenjoy the sweetness of Yahweh, to seek out his temple.	4 אחת שאלתי מאת יהוה אותה אבקש שבתי בבית יהוה כל ימי חיי לחזות בנעם יהוה ולבקר בהיכלו
5 For he hides me away under his roof on the day of evil, he folds me in the recesses of his tent, setsme high on a rock.	5 כי יצפנני בסכה ביום רעה יסתרני בסתר אהלו בצור ירוממני
6 Now my head is held high above the enemies who surround me; in his tent I wil offer sacrifices ofacclaim. I wil sing, I wil make music for Yahweh.	6 ועתה ירום ראשי על איבי סביבותי ואזבחה באהלו זבחי תרועה אשירה ואזמרה ליהוה
7 Yahweh, hear my voice as I cry, pity me, answer me!	7 שמע יהוה קולי אקרא וחנני וענני
8 Of you my heart has said, 'Seek his face!' Your face, Yahweh, I seek;	8 לך אמר לבי בקשו פני את פניך יהוה אבקש
9 do not turn away from me. Do not thrust aside your servant in anger, without you I am helpless. Neverleave me, never forsake me, God, my Saviour.	9 אל תסתר פניך ממני אל תט באף עבדך עזרתי היית אל תטשני ואל תעזבני אלהי ישעי
10 Though my father and mother forsake me, Yahweh wil gather me up.	10 כי אבי ואמי עזבוני ויהוה יאספני
11 Yahweh, teach me your way, lead me on the path of integrity because of my enemies;	11 הורני יהוה דרכך ונחני בארח מישור למען שוררי
12 do not abandon me to the wil of my foes -- false witnesses have risen against me, and are breathingout violence.	12 אל תתנני בנפש צרי כי קמו בי עדי שקר ויפח חמס
13 This I believe: I shal see the goodness of Yahweh, in the land of the living.	13 לולא האמנתי לראות בטוב יהוה בארץ חיים
14 Put your hope in Yahweh, be strong, let your heart be bold, put your hope in Yahweh.	14 קוה אל יהוה חזק ויאמץ לבך וקוה אל יהוה
