Psalms 27

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 [Of David] Yahweh is my light and my salvation, whom should I fear? Yahweh is the fortress of my life,whom should I dread?	1 De Davi. O Senhor é minha luz e minha salvação, a quem temerei? O Senhor é o protetor de minha vida, de quem terei medo?
2 When the wicked advance against me to eat me up, they, my opponents, my enemies, are the oneswho stumble and fal .	2 Quando os malvados me atacam para me devorar vivo, são eles, meus adversários e inimigos, que resvalam e caem.
3 Though an army pitch camp against me, my heart wil not fear, though war break out against me, mytrust wil never be shaken.	3 Se todo um exército se acampar contra mim, não temerá meu coração. Se se travar contra mim uma batalha, mesmo assim terei confiança.
4 One thing I ask of Yahweh, one thing I seek: to dwel in Yahweh's house all the days of my life, toenjoy the sweetness of Yahweh, to seek out his temple.	4 Uma só coisa peço ao Senhor e a peço incessantemente: é habitar na casa do Senhor todos os dias de minha vida, para admirar aí a beleza do Senhor e contemplar o seu santuário.
5 For he hides me away under his roof on the day of evil, he folds me in the recesses of his tent, setsme high on a rock.	5 Assim, no dia mau ele me esconderá na sua tenda, ocultar-me-á no recôndito de seu tabernáculo, sobre um rochedo me erguerá.
6 Now my head is held high above the enemies who surround me; in his tent I wil offer sacrifices ofacclaim. I wil sing, I wil make music for Yahweh.	6 Mas desde agora ele levanta a minha cabeça acima dos inimigos que me cercam; e oferecerei no tabernáculo sacrifícios de regozijo, com cantos e louvores ao Senhor.
7 Yahweh, hear my voice as I cry, pity me, answer me!	7 Escutai, Senhor, a voz de minha oração, tende piedade de mim e ouvi-me.
8 Of you my heart has said, 'Seek his face!' Your face, Yahweh, I seek;	8 Fala-vos meu coração, minha face vos busca; a vossa face, ó Senhor, eu a procuro.
9 do not turn away from me. Do not thrust aside your servant in anger, without you I am helpless. Neverleave me, never forsake me, God, my Saviour.	9 Não escondais de mim vosso semblante, não afasteis com ira o vosso servo. Vós sois o meu amparo, não me rejeiteis. Nem me abandoneis, ó Deus, meu Salvador.
10 Though my father and mother forsake me, Yahweh wil gather me up.	10 Se meu pai e minha mãe me abandonarem, o Senhor me acolherá.
11 Yahweh, teach me your way, lead me on the path of integrity because of my enemies;	11 Ensinai-me, Senhor, vosso caminho; por causa dos adversários, guiai-me pela senda reta.
12 do not abandon me to the wil of my foes -- false witnesses have risen against me, and are breathingout violence.	12 Não me abandoneis à mercê dos inimigos, contra mim se ergueram violentos e falsos testemunhos.
13 This I believe: I shal see the goodness of Yahweh, in the land of the living.	13 Sei que verei os benefícios do Senhor na terra dos vivos!
14 Put your hope in Yahweh, be strong, let your heart be bold, put your hope in Yahweh.	14 Espera no Senhor e sê forte! Fortifique-se o teu coração e espera no Senhor!
