1 Al eluia! Sing a new song to Yahweh: his praise in the assembly of the faithful!	1 Alleluia, Cantate al Signore un nuovo cantico: la sua lode nella chiesa, dei santi.
2 Israel shall rejoice in its Maker, the children of Zion delight in their king;	2 Israele si rallegri nel suo creatore, e i figli di Sionne esultino nei loro re.
3 they shal dance in praise of his name, play to him on tambourines and harp!	3 Lodino il nome di lui tra le danze, tra, i timpani e le cetre a lui salmeggino.
4 For Yahweh loves his people, he will crown the humble with salvation.	4 Perchè il Signore si compiace nel suo popolo, ed esalta i mansueti colla vittoria.
5 The faithful exult in glory, shout for joy as they worship him,	5 I santi esultino nella gloria, si rallegrino nel loro riposo,
6 praising God to the heights with their voices, a two-edged sword in their hands,	6 siano sulla loro bocca le lodi di Dio, e nella loro mano spade a doppio taglio,
7 to wreak vengeance on the nations, punishment on the peoples,	7 Per far vendetta delle nazioni e castigare i popoli,
8 to load their kings with chains and their nobles with iron fetters,	8 Per legare i loro re in ceppi e i loro grandi in catene di ferro,
9 to execute on them the judgement passed -- to the honour of al his faithful.	9 Onde eseguire contro di essi la sentenza già scritta: ecco la gloria riserbata a tutti i suoi santi. Alleluia.
