1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh, my soul!	1 Alleluia! Loda Jahvè, anima mia!
2 I wil praise Yahweh al my life, I will make music to my God as long as I live.	2 Loderò Jahvè finché vivo, inneggerò al mio Dio finché sono.
3 Do not put your trust in princes, in any child of Adam, who has no power to save.	3 Non vogliate confidare nei principi, nel figlio dell’uomo che non dispone di scampo.
4 When his spirit goes forth he returns to the earth, on that very day al his plans come to nothing.	4 Esce il suo spirito e torna alla sua terra, in quel giorno tramontano i suol piani.
5 How blessed is he who has Jacob's God to help him, his hope is in Yahweh his God,	5 Felice quegli cui il Dio di Giacobbe è di aiuto, la cui speranza è in Jahvè suo Dio.
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea and al that is in them. He keeps faith for ever,	6 Creatore Ti cieli e della terra, del mare e di quanto c’è in Essi. Che custodisce la verità in eterno,
7 gives justice to the oppressed, gives food to the hungry; Yahweh sets prisoners free.	7 fa giustizia agli oppressi. DA pane agli affamati, Jahvè libera i prigionieri.
8 Yahweh gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down.	8 Jahvè apre gli occhi ai ciechi, Jahvè raddrizza i ricurvi. Jahvè protegge gli stranieri, conforta l’orfano e la vedova.
9 Yahweh protects the stranger, he sustains the orphan and the widow. Yahweh loves the upright,buthe frustrates the wicked.	9 Jahvè ama i giusti, ma sovverte la via degli empi.
10 Yahweh reigns for ever, your God, Zion, from age to age.	10 Jahvè regna in eterno; il tuo Dio, Sion, di generazione in generazione. Alleluia!
