Psalms 146

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh, my soul!	1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alaba al Señor, alma mía!
2 I wil praise Yahweh al my life, I will make music to my God as long as I live.	2 Alabaré al Señor toda mi vida; mientras yo exista, cantaré a mi Dios.
3 Do not put your trust in princes, in any child of Adam, who has no power to save.	3 No confíen en los poderosos, en simples mortales, que no pueden salvar:
4 When his spirit goes forth he returns to the earth, on that very day al his plans come to nothing.	4 cuando expiran, vuelven al polvo, y entonces se esfuman sus proyectos.
5 How blessed is he who has Jacob's God to help him, his hope is in Yahweh his God,	5 Feliz el que se apoya en el Dios de Jacob y pone su esperanza en el Señor, su Dios:
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea and al that is in them. He keeps faith for ever,	6 él hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos. El mantiene su fidelidad para siempre,
7 gives justice to the oppressed, gives food to the hungry; Yahweh sets prisoners free.	7 hace justicia a los oprimidos y da pan a los hambrientos. El Señor libera a los cautivos,
8 Yahweh gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down.	8 abre los ojos de los ciegos y endereza a los que están encorvados.
9 Yahweh protects the stranger, he sustains the orphan and the widow. Yahweh loves the upright,buthe frustrates the wicked.	9 El Señor protege a los extranjeros y sustenta al huérfano y a la viuda;
10 Yahweh reigns for ever, your God, Zion, from age to age.	10 El Señor reina eternamente, reina tu Dios, Sión, a lo largo de las generaciones. ¡Aleluya!
