NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh, my soul!	1 Alleluia. Loda il Signore, anima mia.
2 I wil praise Yahweh al my life, I will make music to my God as long as I live.	2 Loderò il Signore finché avrò vita, inneggerò al mio Dio per tutta la mia esistenza.
3 Do not put your trust in princes, in any child of Adam, who has no power to save.	3 Non confidate nei potenti, in un figlio d'uomo che non dà salvezza.
4 When his spirit goes forth he returns to the earth, on that very day al his plans come to nothing.	4 Esala il suo spirito e ritorna alla terra: in quel giorno periscono i suoi disegni.
5 How blessed is he who has Jacob's God to help him, his hope is in Yahweh his God,	5 Beato colui che ha per aiuto il Dio di Giacobbe, che ha per speranza il Signore suo Dio!
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea and al that is in them. He keeps faith for ever,	6 Egli ha fatto cieli e terra, il mare e tutto ciò ch'esso contiene. Conserva la fedeltà per sempre.
7 gives justice to the oppressed, gives food to the hungry; Yahweh sets prisoners free.	7 Rende giustizia agli oppressi, dà il pane agli affamati; il Signore libera i prigionieri.
8 Yahweh gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down.	8 Il Signore ridona la vista ai ciechi, il Signore rialza quanti sono caduti, il Signore ama i giusti.
9 Yahweh protects the stranger, he sustains the orphan and the widow. Yahweh loves the upright,buthe frustrates the wicked.	9 Il Signore custodisce gli stranieri, sostiene l'orfano e la vedova, mentre sconvolge la via degli empi.
10 Yahweh reigns for ever, your God, Zion, from age to age.	10 Il Signore regnerà in eterno: il tuo Re, o Sion, di generazione in generazione.
