Psalms 146

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh, my soul!	1 הַלְלוּ־יָהּ הַלְלִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת־יְהוָה
2 I wil praise Yahweh al my life, I will make music to my God as long as I live.	2 אֲהַלְלָה יְהוָה בְּחַיָּי אֲזַמְּרָה לֵאלֹהַי בְּעֹודִי
3 Do not put your trust in princes, in any child of Adam, who has no power to save.	3 אַל־תִּבְטְחוּ בִנְדִיבִים בְּבֶן־אָדָם ׀ שֶׁאֵין לֹו תְשׁוּעָה
4 When his spirit goes forth he returns to the earth, on that very day al his plans come to nothing.	4 תֵּצֵא רוּחֹו יָשֻׁב לְאַדְמָתֹו בַּיֹּום הַהוּא אָבְדוּ עֶשְׁתֹּנֹתָיו
5 How blessed is he who has Jacob's God to help him, his hope is in Yahweh his God,	5 אַשְׁרֵי שֶׁאֵל יַעֲקֹב בְּעֶזְרֹו בְרֹו עַל־יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea and al that is in them. He keeps faith for ever,	6 עֹשֶׂה ׀ שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ אֶת־הַיָּם וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּם הַשֹּׁמֵר אֱמֶת לְעֹולָם
7 gives justice to the oppressed, gives food to the hungry; Yahweh sets prisoners free.	7 עֹשֶׂה מִשְׁפָּט ׀ לָעֲשׁוּקִים נֹתֵן לֶחֶם לָרְעֵבִים יְהוָה מַתִּיר אֲסוּרִים
8 Yahweh gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down.	8 יְהוָה ׀ פֹּקֵחַ עִוְרִים יְהוָה זֹקֵף כְּפוּפִים יְהוָה אֹהֵב צַדִּיקִים
9 Yahweh protects the stranger, he sustains the orphan and the widow. Yahweh loves the upright,buthe frustrates the wicked.	9 יְהוָה ׀ שֹׁמֵר אֶת־גֵּרִים יָתֹום וְאַלְמָנָה יְעֹודֵד וְדֶרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים יְעַוֵּת
10 Yahweh reigns for ever, your God, Zion, from age to age.	10 יִמְלֹךְ יְהוָה ׀ לְעֹולָם אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיֹּון לְדֹר וָדֹר הַלְלוּ־יָהּ
