Psalms 146

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh, my soul!	1 ALLELUIA. Anima mia, loda il Signore.
2 I wil praise Yahweh al my life, I will make music to my God as long as I live.	2 Io loderò il Signore, mentre viverò; Io salmeggerò al mio Dio, mentre durerò.
3 Do not put your trust in princes, in any child of Adam, who has no power to save.	3 Non vi confidate in principi, Nè in alcun figliuol d’uomo, che non ha modo di salvare.
4 When his spirit goes forth he returns to the earth, on that very day al his plans come to nothing.	4 Il suo fiato uscirà, ed egli se ne ritornerà nella sua terra; In quel dì periranno i suoi disegni
5 How blessed is he who has Jacob's God to help him, his hope is in Yahweh his God,	5 Beato colui che ha l’Iddio di Giacobbe in suo aiuto, La cui speranza è nel Signore Iddio suo
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea and al that is in them. He keeps faith for ever,	6 Il quale ha fatto il cielo e la terra, Il mare, e tutto ciò ch’è in essi; Che osserva la fede in eterno;
7 gives justice to the oppressed, gives food to the hungry; Yahweh sets prisoners free.	7 Il qual fa ragione agli oppressati; E dà del cibo agli affamati. Il Signore scioglie i prigioni.
8 Yahweh gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down.	8 Il Signore apre gli occhi a’ ciechi; Il Signore rileva quelli che son chinati; Il Signore ama i giusti.
9 Yahweh protects the stranger, he sustains the orphan and the widow. Yahweh loves the upright,buthe frustrates the wicked.	9 Il Signore guarda i forestieri; Egli solleva l’orfano e la vedova; E sovverte la via degli empi.
10 Yahweh reigns for ever, your God, Zion, from age to age.	10 Il Signore regna in eterno, E il tuo Dio, o Sion, per ogni età. Alleluia
