1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of Yahweh!	1 Beati quelli la cui via è perfetta, quelli che camminano nella legge del Signore.
2 Blessed are those who observe his instructions, who seek him with all their hearts,	2 Beati quelli che osservano i suoi voleri e lo cercano con tutto il cuore.
3 and, doing no evil, who walk in his ways.	3 Sicuramente non commettono iniquità, ma camminano nelle sue vie.
4 You lay down your precepts to be careful y kept.	4 Tu hai ordinato di custodir bene i tuoi comandi.
5 May my ways be steady in doing your wil .	5 Siano stabili le mie vie affinché custodisca i tuoi decreti.
6 Then I shal not be shamed, if my gaze is fixed on your commandments.	6 Allora non dovrò arrossire, se avrò obbedito ai tuoi precetti.
7 I thank you with a sincere heart for teaching me your upright judgements.	7 Ti renderò grazie con cuore retto, allorché avrò appreso le tue giuste sentenze.
8 I shal do your will; do not ever abandon me whol y.	8 Custodirò i tuoi decreti: non abbandonarmi giammai.
9 How can a young man keep his way spotless? By keeping your words.	9 In che modo potrà un giovane tener puro il suo sentiero? Custodendo le tue parole.
10 With al my heart I seek you, do not let me stray from your commandments.	10 Con tutto il cuore ti cerco: non farmi deviare dai tuoi precetti.
11 In my heart I treasure your promises, to avoid sinning against you.	11 Conservo nel mio cuore le tue promesse, in modo che non pecchi contro di te.
12 Blessed are you, Yahweh, teach me your wil !	12 Benedetto sii tu, Signore: insegnami i tuoi decreti.
13 With my lips I have repeated al the judgements you have given.	13 Enumero con le mie labbra tutti i giudizi della tua bocca.
14 In the way of your instructions lies my joy, a joy beyond al wealth.	14 Nella via dei tuoi voleri io pongo la mia gioia, al di sopra di ogni altro bene.
15 I will ponder your precepts and fix my gaze on your paths.	15 Voglio riflettere sui tuoi comandi, considerare le tue vie.
16 I find my delight in your wil , I do not forget your words.	16 La mia gioia è nei tuoi decreti, non dimenticherò le tue parole.
17 Be generous to your servant and I shal live, and shal keep your words.	17 Sii benevolo con il tuo servo: vivrò e custodirò le tue parole.
18 Open my eyes and I shal fix my gaze on the wonders of your Law.	18 Apri i miei occhi, perché io veda le meraviglie della tua legge.
19 Wayfarer though I am on the earth, do not hide your commandments from me.	19 Pellegrino io sono sulla terra: non tenermi nascosti i tuoi precetti.
20 My heart is pining away with longing at all times for your judgements.	20 Si consuma la mia anima di desiderio verso i tuoi giudizi, in ogni tempo.
21 You have rebuked the arrogant, the accursed, who stray from your commandments.	21 Tu hai minacciato gli orgogliosi: maledetti quelli che deviano dai tuoi precetti.
22 Set me free from taunts and contempt since I observe your instructions.	22 Allontana da me vergogna e disprezzo, poiché ho osservato i tuoi voleri.
23 Though princes sit plotting against me, your servant keeps pondering your wil .	23 Siedono i potenti e sparlano di me; ma il tuo servo medita sui tuoi decreti.
24 Your instructions are my delight, your wishes my counsellors.	24 I tuoi voleri sono la mia gioia, essi sono i miei consiglieri.

33 Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your will, and I wil observe it.	33 Insegnami, Signore, la via dei tuoi decreti: voglio seguirla sino alla fine.
34 Give me understanding and I will observe your Law, and keep it wholeheartedly.	34 Dammi intelligenza per osservare la tua legge e custodirla con tutto il cuore.
35 Guide me in the way of your commandments, for my delight is there.	35 Dirigimi sul sentiero dei tuoi precetti; sì, sta in esso il mio diletto.
36 Bend my heart to your instructions, not to selfish gain.	36 Piega il mio cuore verso i tuoi voleri e non verso la sete di guadagno.
37 Avert my eyes from pointless images, by your word give me life.	37 Distogli i miei occhi dallo scorgere cose vane; fammi vivere sulla tua via.
38 Keep your promise to your servant so that al may hold you in awe.	38 Conferma per il tuo servo la tua promessa, quella che conduce al tuo timore.
39 Avert the taunts that I dread, for your judgements are generous.	39 Allontana l'insulto che mi dà sgomento; sì, sono buoni i tuoi giudizi.
40 See how I yearn for your precepts; in your saving justice give me life.	40 Ecco, io anelo verso i tuoi comandi: fammi vivere nella tua giustizia.
41 Let your faithful love come to me, Yahweh, true to your promise, save me!	41 A me giunga, Signore, la tua misericordia, la tua salvezza, secondo la tua promessa.
42 Give me an answer to the taunts against me, since I rely on your word.	42 A chi m'insulta saprò rispondere, poiché ho fiducia nella tua parola.
43 Do not deprive me of that faithful word, since my hope lies in your judgements.	43 Non sottrarre dalla mia bocca la parola di verità, poiché ho speranza nel tuo giudizio.
44 I shal keep your Law without fail for ever and ever.	44 Custodirò sempre la tua legge nei secoli, in eterno.

47 Your commandments fill me with delight, I love them dearly.	47 Gioirò per i tuoi precetti: io li amo molto.
48 I stretch out my hands to your commandments that I love, and I ponder your judgements.	48 Alzerò le mie mani verso i tuoi precetti che amo e mediterò sui tuoi decreti.
49 Keep in mind your promise to your servant on which I have built my hope.	49 Ricordati della parola data al tuo servo: con essa tu mi hai dato speranza.
50 It is my comfort in distress, that your promise gives me life.	50 Questo mi ha consolato nella mia miseria; sì, la tua promessa mi ha fatto rivivere.
51 Endlessly the arrogant have jeered at me, but I have not swerved from your Law.	51 Mi hanno insultato aspramente i superbi; non ho deviato dalla tua legge.
52 I have kept your age -- old judgements in mind, Yahweh, and I am comforted.	52 Mi sono ricordato, Signore, dei tuoi eterni giudizi: ne sono rimasto consolato.
53 Fury grips me when I see the wicked who abandon your Law.	53 Lo sdegno mi ha preso contro gli empi, poiché non si curano della tua legge.
54 Your judgements are my song where I live in exile.	54 Son canti per me i tuoi voleri nella terra del mio pellegrinaggio.
55 Al night, Yahweh, I hold your name in mind, I keep your Law.	55 Nella notte, Signore, ricordo il tuo nome; voglio custodire la tua legge.

64 Your faithful love fil s the earth, Yahweh, teach me your judgements.	64 Della tua misericordia, Signore, è piena la terra: fa' che apprenda i tuoi decreti.
65 You have been generous to your servant, Yahweh, true to your promise.	65 Hai beneficato il tuo servo, Signore, secondo la tua parola.
66 Teach me judgement and knowledge, for I rely on your commandments.	66 Insegnami buon senso e conoscenza: sì, sto saldo nei tuoi precetti.
67 Before I was punished I used to go astray, but now I keep to your promise.	67 Prima che fossi umiliato andavo errando. Ora mi attengo alla tua promessa.
68 You are generous and act generously, teach me your wil .	68 Tu sei buono e tratti con benevolenza: insegnami i tuoi decreti.
69 The arrogant blacken me with lies though I wholeheartedly observe your precepts.	69 Menzogna hanno gettato contro di me i superbi: con tutto il cuore osserverò i tuoi ordini.
70 Their hearts are gross like rich fat, but my delight is in your Law.	70 Torpido come il grasso è il loro cuore: io mi diletto della tua legge.
71 It was good for me that I had to suffer, the better to learn your judgements.	71 Bene per me, se sono stato umiliato: imparerò la tua legge.
72 The Law you have uttered is more precious to me than al the wealth in the world.	72 E' un bene per me la legge della tua bocca, più di migliaia di pezzi d'oro o d'argento.
73 Your hands have made me and held me firm, give me understanding and I shal learn yourcommandments.	73 Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e plasmato: fammi capire e imparerò i tuoi precetti.
74 Those who fear you rejoice at the sight of me since I put my hope in your word.	74 Mi vedranno quelli che ti temono e ne avranno gioia; sì, spero nella tua parola.
75 I know, Yahweh, that your judgements are upright, and in punishing me you show your constancy.	75 So che sono giusti i tuoi giudizi, Signore, e con ragione mi hai umiliato.
76 Your faithful love must be my consolation, as you have promised your servant.	76 Venga a consolarmi la tua misericordia, secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.
77 Treat me with tenderness and I shall live, for your Law is my delight.	77 Giunga a me la tua pietà affinché io viva: sì, il mio diletto è la tua legge.
78 Let the arrogant who tell lies against me be shamed, while I ponder your precepts.	78 Abbiano vergogna i superbi per avermi oppresso ingiustamente: io mediterò sui tuoi comandi.
79 Let those who fear you rally to me, those who understand your instructions.	79 Si volgano a me quelli che ti temono, quelli che conoscono i tuoi voleri.
80 My heart shall be faultless towards your wil ; then I shall not be ashamed.	80 Sia integro il mio cuore nei tuoi decreti, sì che non abbia ad arrossire.
81 I shal wear myself out for your salvation, for your word is my hope.	81 Si strugge l'anima mia verso la tua salvezza; io spero nella tua parola.
82 My eyes, too, are worn out waiting for your promise, when wil you have pity on me?	82 Si struggono i miei occhi verso la tua promessa e dico: "Quando mi darai conforto?".
83 For I am like a smoked wineskin, but I do not forget your wil .	83 Sì, sono come un otre esposto al fumo, ma non ho dimenticato i tuoi decreti.
84 How long has your servant to live? When wil you bring my persecutors to judgement?	84 Quanti saranno i giorni del tuo servo? Quando farai il giudizio contro quelli che mi perseguitano?
85 The arrogant have dug pitfalls for me in defiance of your Law.	85 Mi hanno scavato fosse gl'insolenti, i quali non seguono la tua legge.
86 Al your commandments show constancy. Help me when they pursue me dishonestly.	86 Tutti i tuoi precetti sono veri. A torto mi perseguitano: accorri in mio aiuto.
87 They have almost annihilated me on earth, but I have not deserted your precepts.	87 Per poco non mi hanno bandito dalla terra, ma non ho abbandonato i tuoi comandi.
88 True to your faithful love, give me life, and I shal keep the instructions you have laid down.	88 Dammi vita secondo la tua misericordia, e custodirò i voleri della tua bocca.
89 For ever, Yahweh, your word is planted firm in heaven.	89 In eterno, Signore, rimane la tua parola; essa sta immobile come i cieli.
90 Your constancy endures from age to age; you established the earth and it stands firm.	90 Per ogni generazione dura la tua fedeltà; hai reso salda la terra ed essa sta.
91 Through your judgements al stands firm to this day, for al creation is your servant.	91 Per i tuoi giudizi oggi tutto sussiste, poiché tutte le cose servono a te.
92 Had your Law not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery.	92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata la mia gioia, da tempo sarei perito nella mia afflizione.
93 I shal never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.	93 Non mi dimenticherò mai i tuoi comandi, poiché con essi mi hai ridato la vita.
94 I am yours, save me, for I seek your precepts.	94 Io sono tuo: salvami! Sì, io cerco i tuoi comandi.
95 The wicked may hope to destroy me, but al my thought is of your instructions.	95 Gli empi m'insidiano per gettarmi in rovina: ma io cerco di comprendere i tuoi voleri.

123 My eyes are languishing for your salvation and for the saving justice you have promised.	123 I miei occhi si struggono verso la tua salvezza, verso la tua promessa di giustizia.
124 Show your faithful love to your servant, teach me your judgements.	124 Agisci con il tuo servo, secondo il tuo amore, insegnami i tuoi decreti.
125 Your servant am I; give me understanding and I shal know your instructions.	125 Io sono tuo servo: dammi intelligenza, affinché conosca i tuoi voleri.
126 It is time to take action, Yahweh, your Law is being broken.	126 E' tempo di agire, Signore, hanno trasgredito la tua legge.
127 So I love your commandments more than gold, purest gold.	127 Per questo amo i tuoi precetti più che l'oro, più che l'oro raffinato.
128 So I rule my life by your precepts, I hate al deceptive paths.	128 Per questo reputo retti tutti i tuoi comandi, mentre detesto ogni sentiero di menzogna.
129 Wonderful are your instructions, so I observe them.	129 Meravigliosi sono i tuoi voleri; per questo li osserva l'anima mia.
130 As your word unfolds it gives light, and even the simple understand.	130 La rivelazione delle tue parole dà luce; essa dà intelligenza ai semplici.

137 You are upright, Yahweh, and your judgements are honest.	137 Tu sei giusto, Signore, e retti sono i tuoi giudizi.
138 You impose uprightness as a witness to yourself, it is constancy itself.	138 Con giustizia hai imposto i tuoi voleri, con verità incomparabile.
139 My zeal is burning me up because my oppressors forget your word.	139 Mi divora lo zelo per te perché i miei avversari hanno dimenticato le tue parole.

150 My pursuers are coming closer to their wicked designs, and further from your Law.	150 A tradimento mi assalgono quelli che mi perseguitano: sono lontani dalla tua legge.
151 You are close to me, Yahweh, and all your commandments are true.	151 Tu sei vicino, Signore, e veri sono i tuoi precetti.
152 Long have I known that your instructions were laid down to last for ever.	152 Conosco da tempo i tuoi voleri; sì, tu li hai fissati per sempre.
153 Look at my suffering and rescue me, for I do not forget your Law.	153 Volgi lo sguardo verso la mia miseria e salvami! Sì, non dimentico la tua legge.
154 Plead my cause and defend me; as you promised, give me life.	154 Difendi la mia causa e riscattami; dammi vita secondo la tua promessa.

159 See how I love your precepts; true to your faithful love, give me life.	159 Vedi, Signore: io amo i tuoi precetti; dammi vita secondo la tua misericordia.
160 Faithfulness is the essence of your word, your upright judgements hold good for ever.	160 L'essenza della tua parola è fedeltà; dura in eterno ogni tuo giusto giudizio.

162 I rejoice in your promise like one who finds a vast treasure.	162 Io trovo gioia nella tua promessa, come chi ha trovato un grande tesoro.
163 Falsehood I hate and detest, my love is for your Law.	163 Ho in odio la menzogna e la detesto; amo invece la tua legge.
164 Seven times a day I praise you for your upright judgements.	164 Sette volte al giorno io ti lodo, a motivo dei tuoi giusti giudizi.
165 Great peace for those who love your Law; no stumbling-blocks for them!	165 Grande pace per chi ama la tua legge; non c'è per loro alcun inciampo.
