1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of Yahweh!	1 (Alef) Beato chi è integro nella sua viae cammina nella legge del Signore.
2 Blessed are those who observe his instructions, who seek him with all their hearts,	2 Beato chi custodisce i suoi insegnamentie lo cerca con tutto il cuore.
3 and, doing no evil, who walk in his ways.	3 Non commette certo ingiustiziee cammina nelle sue vie.
4 You lay down your precepts to be careful y kept.	4 Tu hai promulgato i tuoi precettiperché siano osservati interamente.
5 May my ways be steady in doing your wil .	5 Siano stabili le mie vienel custodire i tuoi decreti.
6 Then I shal not be shamed, if my gaze is fixed on your commandments.	6 Non dovrò allora vergognarmi,se avrò considerato tutti i tuoi comandi.
7 I thank you with a sincere heart for teaching me your upright judgements.	7 Ti loderò con cuore sincero,quando avrò appreso i tuoi giusti giudizi.
8 I shal do your will; do not ever abandon me whol y.	8 Voglio osservare i tuoi decreti:non abbandonarmi mai.
9 How can a young man keep his way spotless? By keeping your words.	9 (Bet) Come potrà un giovane tenere pura la sua via?Osservando la tua parola.
10 With al my heart I seek you, do not let me stray from your commandments.	10 Con tutto il mio cuore ti cerco:non lasciarmi deviare dai tuoi comandi.
11 In my heart I treasure your promises, to avoid sinning against you.	11 Ripongo nel cuore la tua promessaper non peccare contro di te.
12 Blessed are you, Yahweh, teach me your wil !	12 Benedetto sei tu, Signore:insegnami i tuoi decreti.
13 With my lips I have repeated al the judgements you have given.	13 Con le mie labbra ho raccontatotutti i giudizi della tua bocca.
14 In the way of your instructions lies my joy, a joy beyond al wealth.	14 Nella via dei tuoi insegnamenti è la mia gioia,più che in tutte le ricchezze.
15 I will ponder your precepts and fix my gaze on your paths.	15 Voglio meditare i tuoi precetti,considerare le tue vie.
16 I find my delight in your wil , I do not forget your words.	16 Nei tuoi decreti è la mia delizia,non dimenticherò la tua parola.
17 Be generous to your servant and I shal live, and shal keep your words.	17 (Ghimel) Sii benevolo con il tuo servo e avrò vita,osserverò la tua parola.
18 Open my eyes and I shal fix my gaze on the wonders of your Law.	18 Aprimi gli occhi perché io considerile meraviglie della tua legge.
19 Wayfarer though I am on the earth, do not hide your commandments from me.	19 Forestiero sono qui sulla terra:non nascondermi i tuoi comandi.
20 My heart is pining away with longing at all times for your judgements.	20 Io mi consumo nel desideriodei tuoi giudizi in ogni momento.
21 You have rebuked the arrogant, the accursed, who stray from your commandments.	21 Tu minacci gli orgogliosi, i maledetti,che deviano dai tuoi comandi.
22 Set me free from taunts and contempt since I observe your instructions.	22 Allontana da me vergogna e disprezzo,perché ho custodito i tuoi insegnamenti.
23 Though princes sit plotting against me, your servant keeps pondering your wil .	23 Anche se i potenti siedono e mi calunniano,il tuo servo medita i tuoi decreti.
24 Your instructions are my delight, your wishes my counsellors.	24 I tuoi insegnamenti sono la mia delizia:sono essi i miei consiglieri.
25 Down in the dust I lie prostrate; true to your word, revive me.	25 (Dalet) La mia vita è incollata alla polvere:fammi vivere secondo la tua parola.
26 I tell you my ways and you answer me; teach me your wishes.	26 Ti ho manifestato le mie vie e tu mi hai risposto;insegnami i tuoi decreti.
27 Show me the way of your precepts, that I may reflect on your wonders.	27 Fammi conoscere la via dei tuoi precettie mediterò le tue meraviglie.
28 I am melting away for grief; true to your word, raise me up.	28 Io piango lacrime di tristezza;fammi rialzare secondo la tua parola.
29 Keep me far from the way of deceit, grant me the grace of your Law.	29 Tieni lontana da me la via della menzogna,donami la grazia della tua legge.
30 I have chosen the way of constancy, I have moulded myself to your judgements.	30 Ho scelto la via della fedeltà,mi sono proposto i tuoi giudizi.
31 I cling to your instructions, Yahweh, do not disappoint me.	31 Ho aderito ai tuoi insegnamenti:Signore, che io non debba vergognarmi.
32 I run the way of your commandments, for you have given me freedom of heart.	32 Corro sulla via dei tuoi comandi,perché hai allargato il mio cuore.
33 Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your will, and I wil observe it.	33 (He) Insegnami, Signore, la via dei tuoi decretie la custodirò sino alla fine.
34 Give me understanding and I will observe your Law, and keep it wholeheartedly.	34 Dammi intelligenza, perché io custodisca la tua leggee la osservi con tutto il cuore.
35 Guide me in the way of your commandments, for my delight is there.	35 Guidami sul sentiero dei tuoi comandi,perché in essi è la mia felicità.
36 Bend my heart to your instructions, not to selfish gain.	36 Piega il mio cuore verso i tuoi insegnamentie non verso il guadagno.
37 Avert my eyes from pointless images, by your word give me life.	37 Distogli i miei occhi dal guardare cose vane,fammi vivere nella tua via.
38 Keep your promise to your servant so that al may hold you in awe.	38 Con il tuo servo mantieni la tua promessa,perché di te si abbia timore.
39 Avert the taunts that I dread, for your judgements are generous.	39 Allontana l’insulto che mi sgomenta,poiché i tuoi giudizi sono buoni.
40 See how I yearn for your precepts; in your saving justice give me life.	40 Ecco, desidero i tuoi precetti:fammi vivere nella tua giustizia.
41 Let your faithful love come to me, Yahweh, true to your promise, save me!	41 (Vau) Venga a me, Signore, il tuo amore,la tua salvezza secondo la tua promessa.
42 Give me an answer to the taunts against me, since I rely on your word.	42 A chi mi insulta darò una risposta,perché ho fiducia nella tua parola.
43 Do not deprive me of that faithful word, since my hope lies in your judgements.	43 Non togliere dalla mia bocca la parola vera,perché spero nei tuoi giudizi.
44 I shal keep your Law without fail for ever and ever.	44 Osserverò continuamente la tua legge,in eterno, per sempre.
45 I shal live in all freedom because I have sought your precepts.	45 Camminerò in un luogo spazioso,perché ho ricercato i tuoi precetti.
46 I shal speak of your instructions before kings and wil not be shamed.	46 Davanti ai re parlerò dei tuoi insegnamentie non dovrò vergognarmi.
47 Your commandments fill me with delight, I love them dearly.	47 La mia delizia sarà nei tuoi comandi,che io amo.
48 I stretch out my hands to your commandments that I love, and I ponder your judgements.	48 Alzerò le mani verso i tuoi comandi che amo,mediterò i tuoi decreti.
49 Keep in mind your promise to your servant on which I have built my hope.	49 (Zain) Ricòrdati della parola detta al tuo servo,con la quale mi hai dato speranza.
50 It is my comfort in distress, that your promise gives me life.	50 Questo mi consola nella mia miseria:la tua promessa mi fa vivere.
51 Endlessly the arrogant have jeered at me, but I have not swerved from your Law.	51 Gli orgogliosi mi insultano aspramente,ma io non mi allontano dalla tua legge.
52 I have kept your age -- old judgements in mind, Yahweh, and I am comforted.	52 Ricordo i tuoi eterni giudizi, o Signore,e ne sono consolato.
53 Fury grips me when I see the wicked who abandon your Law.	53 Mi ha invaso il furore contro i malvagiche abbandonano la tua legge.
54 Your judgements are my song where I live in exile.	54 I tuoi decreti sono il mio cantonella dimora del mio esilio.
55 Al night, Yahweh, I hold your name in mind, I keep your Law.	55 Nella notte ricordo il tuo nome, Signore,e osservo la tua legge.
56 This is what it means to me, observing your precepts.	56 Tutto questo mi accadeperché ho custodito i tuoi precetti.
57 My task, I have said, Yahweh, is to keep your word.	57 (Het)La mia parte è il Signore:ho deciso di osservare le tue parole.
58 Wholeheartedly I entreat your favour; true to your promise, take pity on me!	58 Con tutto il cuore ho placato il tuo volto:abbi pietà di me secondo la tua promessa.
59 I have reflected on my ways, and I turn my steps to your instructions.	59 Ho esaminato le mie vie,ho rivolto i miei piedi verso i tuoi insegnamenti.
60 I hurry without delay to keep your commandments.	60 Mi affretto e non voglio tardarea osservare i tuoi comandi.
61 Though caught in the snares of the wicked, I do not forget your Law.	61 I lacci dei malvagi mi hanno avvolto:non ho dimenticato la tua legge.
62 At midnight I rise to praise you for your upright judgements.	62 Nel cuore della notte mi alzo a renderti grazieper i tuoi giusti giudizi.
63 I am a friend to all who fear you and keep your precepts.	63 Sono amico di coloro che ti temonoe osservano i tuoi precetti.
64 Your faithful love fil s the earth, Yahweh, teach me your judgements.	64 Del tuo amore, Signore, è piena la terra;insegnami i tuoi decreti.
65 You have been generous to your servant, Yahweh, true to your promise.	65 (Tet) Hai fatto del bene al tuo servo,secondo la tua parola, Signore.
66 Teach me judgement and knowledge, for I rely on your commandments.	66 Insegnami il gusto del bene e la conoscenza,perché ho fiducia nei tuoi comandi.
67 Before I was punished I used to go astray, but now I keep to your promise.	67 Prima di essere umiliato andavo errando,ma ora osservo la tua promessa.
68 You are generous and act generously, teach me your wil .	68 Tu sei buono e fai il bene:insegnami i tuoi decreti.
69 The arrogant blacken me with lies though I wholeheartedly observe your precepts.	69 Gli orgogliosi mi hanno coperto di menzogne,ma io con tutto il cuore custodisco i tuoi precetti.
70 Their hearts are gross like rich fat, but my delight is in your Law.	70 Insensibile come il grasso è il loro cuore:nella tua legge io trovo la mia delizia.
71 It was good for me that I had to suffer, the better to learn your judgements.	71 Bene per me se sono stato umiliato,perché impari i tuoi decreti.
72 The Law you have uttered is more precious to me than al the wealth in the world.	72 Bene per me è la legge della tua bocca,più di mille pezzi d’oro e d’argento.
73 Your hands have made me and held me firm, give me understanding and I shal learn yourcommandments.	73 (Iod) Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e plasmato:fammi capire e imparerò i tuoi comandi.
74 Those who fear you rejoice at the sight of me since I put my hope in your word.	74 Quelli che ti temono al vedermi avranno gioia,perché spero nella tua parola.
75 I know, Yahweh, that your judgements are upright, and in punishing me you show your constancy.	75 Signore, io so che i tuoi giudizi sono giustie con ragione mi hai umiliato.
76 Your faithful love must be my consolation, as you have promised your servant.	76 Il tuo amore sia la mia consolazione,secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.
77 Treat me with tenderness and I shall live, for your Law is my delight.	77 Venga a me la tua misericordia e io avrò vita,perché la tua legge è la mia delizia.
78 Let the arrogant who tell lies against me be shamed, while I ponder your precepts.	78 Si vergognino gli orgogliosi che mi opprimono con menzogne:io mediterò i tuoi precetti.
79 Let those who fear you rally to me, those who understand your instructions.	79 Si volgano a me quelli che ti temonoe che conoscono i tuoi insegnamenti.
80 My heart shall be faultless towards your wil ; then I shall not be ashamed.	80 Sia integro il mio cuore nei tuoi decreti,perché non debba vergognarmi.
81 I shal wear myself out for your salvation, for your word is my hope.	81 (Caf) Mi consumo nell’attesa della tua salvezza,spero nella tua parola.
82 My eyes, too, are worn out waiting for your promise, when wil you have pity on me?	82 Si consumano i miei occhi per la tua promessa,dicendo: «Quando mi darai conforto?».
83 For I am like a smoked wineskin, but I do not forget your wil .	83 Io sono come un otre esposto al fumo,non dimentico i tuoi decreti.
84 How long has your servant to live? When wil you bring my persecutors to judgement?	84 Quanti saranno i giorni del tuo servo?Quando terrai il giudizio contro i miei persecutori?
85 The arrogant have dug pitfalls for me in defiance of your Law.	85 Mi hanno scavato fosse gli orgogliosi,che non seguono la tua legge.
86 Al your commandments show constancy. Help me when they pursue me dishonestly.	86 Fedeli sono tutti i tuoi comandi.A torto mi perseguitano: vieni in mio aiuto!
87 They have almost annihilated me on earth, but I have not deserted your precepts.	87 Per poco non mi hanno fatto sparire dalla terra,ma io non ho abbandonato i tuoi precetti.
88 True to your faithful love, give me life, and I shal keep the instructions you have laid down.	88 Secondo il tuo amore fammi viveree osserverò l’insegnamento della tua bocca.
89 For ever, Yahweh, your word is planted firm in heaven.	89 (Lamed) Per sempre, o Signore,la tua parola è stabile nei cieli.
90 Your constancy endures from age to age; you established the earth and it stands firm.	90 La tua fedeltà di generazione in generazione;hai fondato la terra ed essa è salda.
91 Through your judgements al stands firm to this day, for al creation is your servant.	91 Per i tuoi giudizi tutto è stabile fino ad oggi,perché ogni cosa è al tuo servizio.
92 Had your Law not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery.	92 Se la tua legge non fosse la mia delizia,davvero morirei nella mia miseria.
93 I shal never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.	93 Mai dimenticherò i tuoi precetti,perché con essi tu mi fai vivere.
94 I am yours, save me, for I seek your precepts.	94 Io sono tuo: salvami,perché ho ricercato i tuoi precetti.
95 The wicked may hope to destroy me, but al my thought is of your instructions.	95 I malvagi sperano di rovinarmi;io presto attenzione ai tuoi insegnamenti.
96 I have seen that al perfection is finite, but your commandment has no limit.	96 Di ogni cosa perfetta ho visto il confine:l’ampiezza dei tuoi comandi è infinita.
97 How I love your Law! I ponder it al day long.	97 (Mem) Quanto amo la tua legge!La medito tutto il giorno.
98 You make me wiser than my enemies by your commandment which is mine for ever.	98 Il tuo comando mi fa più saggio dei miei nemici,perché esso è sempre con me.
99 I am wiser than al my teachers because I ponder your instructions.	99 Sono più saggio di tutti i miei maestri,perché medito i tuoi insegnamenti.
100 I have more understanding than the aged because I keep your precepts.	100 Ho più intelligenza degli anziani,perché custodisco i tuoi precetti.
101 I restrain my foot from evil paths to keep your word.	101 Tengo lontani i miei piedi da ogni cattivo sentiero,per osservare la tua parola.
102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, because you yourself have instructed me.	102 Non mi allontano dai tuoi giudizi,perché sei tu a istruirmi.
103 How pleasant your promise to my palate, sweeter than honey in my mouth!	103 Quanto sono dolci al mio palato le tue promesse,più del miele per la mia bocca.
104 From your precepts I learn wisdom, so I hate all deceptive ways.	104 I tuoi precetti mi danno intelligenza,perciò odio ogni falso sentiero.
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.	105 (Nun) Lampada per i miei passi è la tua parola,luce sul mio cammino.
106 I have sworn -- and shal maintain it -- to keep your upright judgements.	106 Ho giurato, e lo confermo,di osservare i tuoi giusti giudizi.
107 I am utterly wretched, Yahweh; true to your promise, give me life.	107 Sono tanto umiliato, Signore:dammi vita secondo la tua parola.
108 Accept, Yahweh, the tribute from my mouth, and teach me your judgements.	108 Signore, gradisci le offerte delle mie labbra,insegnami i tuoi giudizi.
109 My life is in your hands perpetual y, I do not forget your Law.	109 La mia vita è sempre in pericolo,ma non dimentico la tua legge.
110 The wicked have laid out a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.	110 I malvagi mi hanno teso un tranello,ma io non ho deviato dai tuoi precetti.
111 Your instructions are my eternal heritage, they are the joy of my heart.	111 Mia eredità per sempre sono i tuoi insegnamenti,perché sono essi la gioia del mio cuore.
112 I devote myself to obeying your statutes, their recompense is eternal.	112 Ho piegato il mio cuore a compiere i tuoi decreti,in eterno, senza fine.
113 I hate a divided heart, I love your Law.	113 (Samec) Odio chi ha il cuore diviso;io invece amo la tua legge.

115 Leave me alone, you wicked, I shal observe the commandments of my God.	115 Allontanatevi da me, o malvagi:voglio custodire i comandi del mio Dio.
116 True to your word, support me and I shal live; do not disappoint me of my hope.	116 Sostienimi secondo la tua promessa e avrò vita,non deludere la mia speranza.
117 Uphold me and I shall be saved, my gaze fixed on your wil .	117 Aiutami e sarò salvo,non perderò mai di vista i tuoi decreti.
118 You shake off al who stray from your wil ; deceit fills their horizon.	118 Tu disprezzi chi abbandona i tuoi decreti,perché menzogne sono i suoi pensieri.
119 In your sight al the wicked of the earth are like rust, so I love your instructions.	119 Tu consideri scorie tutti i malvagi della terra,perciò amo i tuoi insegnamenti.
120 My whole body trembles before you, your judgements fill me with fear.	120 Per paura di te la mia pelle rabbrividisce:io temo i tuoi giudizi.
121 Al my conduct has been just and upright, do not hand me over to my oppressors.	121 (Ain) Ho agito secondo giudizio e giustizia;non abbandonarmi ai miei oppressori.
122 Guarantee the wel -being of your servant, do not let the proud oppress me.	122 Assicura il bene al tuo servo;non mi opprimano gli orgogliosi.
123 My eyes are languishing for your salvation and for the saving justice you have promised.	123 I miei occhi si consumano nell’attesa della tua salvezzae per la promessa della tua giustizia.
124 Show your faithful love to your servant, teach me your judgements.	124 Agisci con il tuo servo secondo il tuo amoree insegnami i tuoi decreti.
125 Your servant am I; give me understanding and I shal know your instructions.	125 Io sono tuo servo: fammi comprenderee conoscerò i tuoi insegnamenti.
126 It is time to take action, Yahweh, your Law is being broken.	126 È tempo che tu agisca, Signore:hanno infranto la tua legge.
127 So I love your commandments more than gold, purest gold.	127 Perciò amo i tuoi comandi,più dell’oro, dell’oro più fino.
128 So I rule my life by your precepts, I hate al deceptive paths.	128 Per questo io considero retti tutti i tuoi precettie odio ogni falso sentiero.
129 Wonderful are your instructions, so I observe them.	129 (Pe) Meravigliosi sono i tuoi insegnamenti:per questo li custodisco.
130 As your word unfolds it gives light, and even the simple understand.	130 La rivelazione delle tue parole illumina,dona intelligenza ai semplici.
131 I open wide my mouth, panting eagerly for your commandments.	131 Apro anelante la mia bocca,perché ho sete dei tuoi comandi.
132 Turn to me, pity me; those who love your name deserve it.	132 Volgiti a me e abbi pietà,con il giudizio che riservi a chi ama il tuo nome.
133 Keep my steps firm in your promise; that no evil may triumph over me.	133 Rendi saldi i miei passi secondo la tua promessae non permettere che mi domini alcun male.
134 Rescue me from human oppression, and I wil observe your precepts.	134 Riscattami dall’oppressione dell’uomoe osserverò i tuoi precetti.
135 Let your face shine on your servant, teach me your wil .	135 Fa’ risplendere il tuo volto sul tuo servoe insegnami i tuoi decreti.
136 My eyes stream with tears because your Law is disregarded.	136 Torrenti di lacrime scorrono dai miei occhi,perché non si osserva la tua legge.
137 You are upright, Yahweh, and your judgements are honest.	137 (Sade) Tu sei giusto, Signore,e retto nei tuoi giudizi.
138 You impose uprightness as a witness to yourself, it is constancy itself.	138 Con giustizia hai promulgato i tuoi insegnamentie con grande fedeltà.
139 My zeal is burning me up because my oppressors forget your word.	139 Uno zelo ardente mi consuma,perché i miei avversari dimenticano le tue parole.
140 Your promise is wel tested, your servant holds it dear.	140 Limpida e pura è la tua promessae il tuo servo la ama.
141 Puny and despised as I am, I do not forget your precepts.	141 Io sono piccolo e disprezzato:non dimentico i tuoi precetti.
142 Your saving justice is for ever just, and your Law is trustworthy.	142 La tua giustizia è giustizia eternae la tua legge è verità.
143 Though anguish and distress grip me your commandments are my delight.	143 Angoscia e affanno mi hanno colto:i tuoi comandi sono la mia delizia.
144 Your instructions are upright for ever, give me understanding and I shal live.	144 Giustizia eterna sono i tuoi insegnamenti:fammi comprendere e avrò la vita.

150 My pursuers are coming closer to their wicked designs, and further from your Law.	150 Si avvicinano quelli che seguono il male:sono lontani dalla tua legge.
151 You are close to me, Yahweh, and all your commandments are true.	151 Tu, Signore, sei vicino;tutti i tuoi comandi sono verità.
152 Long have I known that your instructions were laid down to last for ever.	152 Da tempo lo so: i tuoi insegnamentili hai stabiliti per sempre.
153 Look at my suffering and rescue me, for I do not forget your Law.	153 (Res) Vedi la mia miseria e liberami,perché non ho dimenticato la tua legge.
154 Plead my cause and defend me; as you promised, give me life.	154 Difendi la mia causa e riscattami,secondo la tua promessa fammi vivere.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your will.	155 Lontana dai malvagi è la salvezza,perché essi non ricercano i tuoi decreti.
156 Your kindnesses to me are countless, Yahweh; true to your judgements, give me life.	156 Grande è la tua tenerezza, Signore:fammi vivere secondo i tuoi giudizi.
157 Though my enemies and oppressors are countless, I do not turn aside from your instructions.	157 Molti mi perseguitano e mi affliggono,ma io non abbandono i tuoi insegnamenti.
158 The sight of these renegades appals me; they do not observe your promise.	158 Ho visto i traditori e ne ho provato ribrezzo,perché non osservano la tua promessa.
159 See how I love your precepts; true to your faithful love, give me life.	159 Vedi che io amo i tuoi precetti:Signore, secondo il tuo amore dammi vita.
160 Faithfulness is the essence of your word, your upright judgements hold good for ever.	160 La verità è fondamento della tua parola,ogni tuo giusto giudizio dura in eterno.
161 Though princes hound me unprovoked, what fil s me with awe is your word.	161 (Sin) I potenti mi perseguitano senza motivo,ma il mio cuore teme solo le tue parole.
162 I rejoice in your promise like one who finds a vast treasure.	162 Io gioisco per la tua promessa,come chi trova un grande bottino.
163 Falsehood I hate and detest, my love is for your Law.	163 Odio la menzogna e la detesto,amo la tua legge.
164 Seven times a day I praise you for your upright judgements.	164 Sette volte al giorno io ti lodo,per i tuoi giusti giudizi.
165 Great peace for those who love your Law; no stumbling-blocks for them!	165 Grande pace per chi ama la tua legge:nel suo cammino non trova inciampo.
166 I am waiting for your salvation, Yahweh, I fulfil your commandments.	166 Aspetto da te la salvezza, Signore,e metto in pratica i tuoi comandi.
