1 Al eluia! I am fil ed with love when Yahweh listens to the sound of my prayer,	1 Amo il Signore, perché ascoltail grido della mia preghiera.
2 when he bends down to hear me, as I cal .	2 Verso di me ha teso l’orecchionel giorno in cui lo invocavo.
3 The bonds of death were al round me, the snares of Sheol held me fast; distress and anguish heldme in their grip,	3 Mi stringevano funi di morte,ero preso nei lacci degli inferi,ero preso da tristezza e angoscia.
4 I cal ed on the name of Yahweh. Deliver me, Yahweh, I beg you.	4 Allora ho invocato il nome del Signore:«Ti prego, liberami, Signore».
5 Yahweh is merciful and upright, our God is tenderness.	5 Pietoso e giusto è il Signore,il nostro Dio è misericordioso.
6 Yahweh looks after the simple, when I was brought low he gave me strength.	6 Il Signore protegge i piccoli:ero misero ed egli mi ha salvato.
7 My heart, be at peace once again, for Yahweh has treated you generously.	7 Ritorna, anima mia, al tuo riposo,perché il Signore ti ha beneficato.
8 He has rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.	8 Sì, hai liberato la mia vita dalla morte,i miei occhi dalle lacrime,i miei piedi dalla caduta.
9 I shal pass my life in the presence of Yahweh, in the land of the living.	9 Io camminerò alla presenza del Signorenella terra dei viventi.
10 My trust does not fail even when I say, 'I am completely wretched.'
11 In my terror I said, 'No human being can be relied on.'
12 What return can I make to Yahweh for his generosity to me?
13 I shal take up the cup of salvation and cal on the name of Yahweh.
14 I shal fulfil my vows to Yahweh, witnessed by al his people.
15 Costly in Yahweh's sight is the death of his faithful.
16 I beg you, Yahweh! I am your servant, I am your servant and my mother was your servant; you haveundone my fetters.
17 I shal offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and cal on the name of Yahweh.
18 I shal fulfil my vows to Yahweh, witnessed by al his people,
19 in the courts of the house of Yahweh, in your very heart, Jerusalem.
