1 'From among the Israelites, summon your brother Aaron and his sons to be priests in my service:Aaron and Aaron's sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	1 Tra i figli d'Israele fa accostare a te Aronne tuo fratello coi suoi figli, affinchè esercitino le funzioni del sacerdozio davanti a me: Aronne, Nadab, Abiu, Eleazar e Itamar.
2 For your brother Aaron you wil make sacred vestments to give dignity and magnificence.	2 Farai ad Aronne tuo fratello un paramento sacro a gloria ed ornamento.
3 You will instruct al the skilled men, whom I have endowed with skil , to make Aaron's vestments for hisconsecration to my priesthood.	3 E parlerai a tutti gli uomini d'ingegno, a quelli che io ho ripieni di spirito di sapienza, perchè facciano i paramenti di Aronne, onde, con sacrato, possa esercitar il mio sacerdozio.
4 These are the vestments which they must make: a pectoral, an ephod, a robe, an embroidered tunic, aturban and a belt. They must make sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, for them to be priestsin my service.	4 Ecco i paramenti che faranno: il Razionale, l'Efod, il manto, la tunica di lino stretta, la tiara e la cintura. Questi paramenti sacri saran fatti ad Aronne tuo fratello ed ai suoi figli, affinchè mi esercitino le funzioni del sacerdozio,
5 They wil use gold and violet material, red-purple and crimson, and finely woven linen.	5 se sarà usato l'oro, il giacinto, la porpora, il cocco tinto due volte e il bisso.
6 'They wil make the ephod of finely woven linen embroidered with gold, violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson.	6 L'Efod sarà d'oro, di giacinto, di porpora, di cocco tinto due volte, di bisso ritorto e tessuto a, vari colori;
7 It wil have two shoulder-straps joined to it; it will be joined to them by its two edges.	7 avrà, a due lati delle sue sommità, due strisce congiunte in modo da formare un sol tutto.
8 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position must be of the same workmanship and be of a piecewith it: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 La cintura, e tutti i vari lavori saran d'oro, di giacinto,di porpora, di cocco tinto due volte e di bisso ritorto.
9 You will then take two cornelians and engrave them with the names of the sons of Israel,	9 Prese poi due pietre di onice, vi scolpirai sopra i nomi dei figli d'Israele:
10 six of their names on one stone, the remaining six names on the other, in the order of their birth.	10 sei nomi sopra una pietra, e gli altri sei sopra l'altra pietra, secondo il loro ordine di nascita.
11 By the stone-carver's art -- seal engraving -- you wil engrave the two stones with the names of thesons of Israel. You will have them mounted in gold settings	11 Col lavoro dello scultore e del cesellatore scolpirai sopra di esse i nomi dei figli d'Israele, dopo averle incastrate in castoni d'oro;
12 and wil put the two stones on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, to commemorate the sons of Israel.In this way Aaron will bear their names on his two shoulders, before Yahweh, as a reminder.	12 e le metterai sui due lati dell'Efod, come ricordo per i figli d'Israele. Così Aronne porterà, sopra le spalle i loro nomi dinanzi al Signore, perchè sian ricordati.
13 You wil also make golden rosettes,	13 Farai pure due uncini d'oro,
14 and two chains of pure gold twisted like cord, and wil attach the cord-like chains to the rosettes.	14 e due catenelle d'oro purissimo attorcigliate a cordoncino, e le attaccherai agli uncini.
15 'You wil make the breastplate of judgement of the same embroidered work as the ephod; you wilmake it of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	15 Anche il Razionale del giudizio lo farai a più colori, tessuto, come l'Efod, di oro, di giacinto, porpora, cocco tinto due volte e di bisso ritorto.
16 It must be square and doubled over, a span in length and a span in width.	16 Sarà quadrato e doppio; avrà un palmo di lunghezza, come di larghezza.
17 In it you wil set four rows of stones: a sard, topaz and emerald for the first row;	17 In esso incastonerai quattro ordini di pietre: nel primo ordine vi sarà un sardonio, un topazio, uno smeraldo;
18 for the second row, a garnet, sapphire and diamond;	18 nel secondo un rubino, uno zaffiro, un diaspro;
19 for the third row, a hyacinth, a ruby and an amethyst;	19 nel terzo un opale, un'agata, un'ametista;
20 and for the fourth row, a beryl, a cornelian and a jasper. These must be mounted in gold settings.	20 nel quarto un crisolito, un onice, un berillo: queste saranno incastonate nell'oro, ordine per ordine,
21 The stones wil correspond to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	21 porteranno i nomi dei figli d'Israele: vi saranno scolpiti dodici nomi: in ciascuna pietra il nome di una delle dodici tribù.
22 For the breastplate you wil make chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	22 Farai al Razionale delle catenelle d'oro purissimo, attorcigliate a cordoncino,
23 and on the breastplate you wil make two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edges ofthe breastplate	23 e due anelli d'oro da mettersi all'estremità superiori del Razionale:
24 and fastening the two gold cords to the two rings on the outside edges of the breastplate.	24 farai quindi passare le catenelle d'oro per gli anelli, che sono all'estremità del Razionale,
25 The other two ends of the cords you wil fasten to the two rosettes, putting these on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, on the front.	25 e fisserai i capi delle catenelle ai due uncini nei due lati dell'Efod che guardano il Razionale.
26 You wil also make two gold rings and put them on the two edges of the breastplate, on the innerside, against the ephod;	26 Farai pure due anelli d'oro, da mettersi all'estremità del Razionale, sugli orli che stan di faccia all'Efod e sono volti dalla parte di dietro.
27 and you wil make two gold rings and put them low down on the front of the two shoulder-pieces ofthe ephod, close to the join, above the waistband of the ephod.	27 Poi due altri anelli d'oro, da mettersi in basso ai due lati dell'Efod che son dirimpetto alla giuntura, affinchè (il Razionale) possa adattarsi all'Efod,
28 The breastplate wil be secured by a violet-purple cord passed through its rings and those of theephod, so that the breastplate wil sit above the waistband and not come apart from the ephod.	28 sia poi stretto coi suoi anelli agli anelli dell'Efod mediante un nastro di giacinto, e la legatura sia talmente fatta bene da star ferma in modo che il Razionale e l'Efod non possano separarsi l'uno dall'altro.
29 Thus Aaron wil bear the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate of judgement, on his heart,when he enters the sanctuary, as a reminder, before Yahweh, always.	29 Così Aronne, quando entrerà nel santuario, nel Razionale del giudizio sopra il petto, porterà i nomi dei figli d'Israele, per memoria eterna davanti al Signore.
30 To the breastplate of judgement you will add the urim and the thummim, and these wil be on Aaron'sheart when he goes into Yahweh's presence, and Aaron will bear the Israelites' judgement on his heart, inYahweh's presence, always.	30 E sul Razionale del giudizio metterai: Dottrina e Verità, e staranno sul petto d'Aronne, quando egli entrerà alla presenza del Signore. Così porterà sempre sul petto il giudizio dei figli d'Israele al cospetto del Signore.
31 'You wil make the robe of the ephod entirely of violet-purple.	31 Farai pure la tonaca dell'Efod, tutta di giacinto,
32 In the centre it will have an opening for the head, the opening to have round it a border woven likethe neck of a coat of mail, so that it wil not get torn.	32 e avrà in mezzo, in alto, un'apertura, intorno alla, quale vi sarà un orlo tessuto come si usa all'estremità delle vesti, e ciò affinchè non si strappi tanto facilmente.
33 On its lower hem, you wil make pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, and finelywoven linen al round the hem, with golden bel s between them al round:	33 Ma in basso, alla estremità inferiore della tonaca, tutt'intorno, farai una, specie di melagrane di giacinto, di porpora e di cocco tinto due volte, alternate con sonagli,
34 a golden bell and then a pomegranate, alternately, al round the lower hem of the robe.	34 fin modo che vi sia un sonaglio d'oro e una melagrana, poi un altro sonaglio d'oro e una melagrana.
35 Aaron must wear it when he officiates, and the tinkling will be heard when he goes into the sanctuaryinto Yahweh's presence, or leaves it, and so he wil not incur death.	35 E Aronne la indosserà nelle funzioni del suo ministero, affinchè si senta il suono quando egli entra nel santuario al cospetto di Dio e quando ne esce, e così non muoia.
36 'You wil make a flower of pure gold and on it, as you would engrave a seal, you wil engrave,"Consecrated to Yahweh".	36 Farai ancora una lamina d'oro finissimo, in cui farai incidere a bulino: «La santità del Signore ».
37 You wil put it on a violet-purple cord; it wil go on the turban; the front of the turban is the place whereit must go.	37 La fisserai con un nastro di giacinto sopra la tiara,
38 This wil go on Aaron's brow, and Aaron will thus take on himself the short-comings in the holy thingsconsecrated by the Israelites, in all their holy offerings. It wil be on his brow permanently, to make themacceptable to Yahweh.	38 vicino alla fronte del pontefice. E Aronne porterà le iniquità commesse dai figli d'Israele in tutte le oblazioni e nei doni che avranno offerti e consacrati. Questa lamina starà sempre sulla di lui fronte, affinchè sia verso di loro placato il Signore.
39 The tunic you wil weave of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen, and an embroideredwaistband.	39 Farai di bisso la tonaca stretta e la tiara, e farai a lavoro di ricamo la cintura.
40 'For the sons of Aaron you will make tunics and waistbands. You wil also make them head-dressesto give dignity and magnificence.	40 Ma ai figli di Aronne farai delle tonache di lino, e delle cinture e delle tiare a gloria e ornamento.
41 You wil dress your brother Aaron and his sons in these; you wil then anoint them, invest them andconsecrate them to serve me in the priesthood.	41 Farai indossare questi vestimenti ad Aronne tuo fratello e ai suoi figli; e ne consacrerai le mani, e li santificherai, affinchè mi esercitino il sacerdozio.
42 You wil also make them linen breeches reaching from waist to thigh, to cover their bare flesh.	42 Farai loro anche dei calzoni di lino, onde coprano la nudità della loro carne dai lombi fino alle cosce.
43 Aaron and his sons wil wear these when they go into the Tent of Meeting and when they approachthe altar to serve in the sanctuary, as a precaution against incurring mortal guilt. This is a perpetual decree forAaron and for his descendants after him.'	43 E Aronne e i suoi figli le porteranno quando entreranno nel Tabernacolo della testimonianza e quando s'accosteranno all'altare per servire nel santuario, affinchè, rendendosi colpevoli, non muoiano. Questa sarà legge sempi terna per Aronne e per i suoi discendenti dopo di lui.
